And this is what had me ticked.

They would NEVER have ordered three huge margaritas if I hadn't responded. They would have had one and driven themselves safely home.

It's over now, they got home safe.

Speaking for myself- I would feel taken for granted. If they called and asked if you could give them a ride that would be one thing... but they asked if you were home and then had more drinks ASSUMING you would come get them. I know during my last couple of months of pregnancy I was exhausted and uncomfortable and didn't really fit behind the steering wheel all that well so I didn't drive if at all possible.
