Your Thanksiving Letter (just for fun)

We've all read that letter that Marney sent out to her family requesting regulation size casserole dishes and being extremely specific in her requests. What requests/suggestions would your Thanksgiving letter to your family and friends contain? Not that you would ever send a letter, but it's fun to think about it.

Here are mine:

Dear Uncle Jerry,
We don't want to hear about your latest surgery (in detail) while eating. Please save the stories for later or not at all.

Dear Cousin Sara,
Please be on time just once. I know you can do it. When you are over an hour late, don't be mad that we started eating without you.

Dear Mom, no we won't be visiting you 800 miles from home, especially since you still have a house 12 miles from mine that you choose to vacate the minute the Mercury dips below 90.

Dear people who pity me for having to work on Thanksgiving. I get to work, can you think of anything more to be thankful for?

Dear Mother-in-Law,
Please consider lowering the temperature of your home from 78 degrees so those of us in the kitchen doing all of the work don't sweat like pigs and come dressed in our summer clothing.

Dear Sister-in-Law,
When you are asked to bring 1 side dish and 1 pie, please don't bring three pies to a meal for 12 people, complain about how we always have soooo much food and then leave your dishes for us to wash and return to you.

Dear other Sister-in-Law,
Our family is from rural Oklahoma, we are southern ladies and we do NOT serve store bought pie. Please learn how to cook.

Okay, snark off. LOL

Edited to add, I seriously have no real complaints! I do wear capri pants and sleeveless shirts to my in laws year round, even when it is in the 30's outside. I go outside often to cool off and have been know to crack the door a bit when my MIL is not looking. I eat the store bought pie and keep all my self-righteousness to myself B/C I love love love my SIL's.
