I think its fine. This political season was super intense everywhere you went it seemed like and DISboards went over the edge. Its one thing to disagree on a political view, but its another to bash others for difference of opinion. It doesn't do any good.

I think as a community we decided not to act our age, and here is out 'punishment'.

BTW, here we have plenty of threads non-religious/non-political. It's time to become creative!

im glad they got rid of the Religious/Political threads.
i come here to be happy not pissed off at some Bullpoop comment that im going to hell or Obama is the worst. i was sick of it.

I rarely went on the religious and never was on the political threads. To me, that just seemed like one more thing that DISers would argue about.

i didn't participate too much in the political threads but i liked the religious threads...i mean, yeah, we argued a lot but it didn't really feel like mean awful arguing...we all knew that it was ok in the end.
i'm a little annoyed its all banned now

I'm kinda glad their banned. I agree with Kelz. I come here to be happy and those threads would always cause fights. Though, judging from what everyone's saying, the posters on the TB wasn't the reason they were banned. But Idk


I WOULD like a little more clarification on what exactly is banned and what isn't. Like would I get in trouble by making a "Happy Easter!" or "Merry Christmas" thread or asking for prayers?
