When the discounts finally came out, I was on the phone that morning at 7am. I got right right through and was not even placed on hold at all. NO discount. No availablity at all at WL. In less crowded times it may seem like you are appling a code to your reservation, but that's not really how it works. So, the more rooms that are booked ahead of time, the less rooms there are that will need to be discounted.
Usually, we wait for codes to come out, but you have to be flexible in that case.
