and why. I think for me it would be something tropical like Jamaica, Carribean, Aruba. I just think it would be interesting to see something like that there!!

I would love to see Egypt. It's been my dream to visit that country one day and it would be great to have a pavilion in Epcot! That little bit of "Africa" just does not do justice to all the countries on that continent

Well.. after being on Aruba for the Panama Canal Cruise... I can say that except for where the hotels and casinos are... the rest of the island is dry has cactus and has lots of goats and llamas... Wasn't impressed..

I would like to see someplace from Eastern Europe. After living in Romania for a month, I have found it very different than Western Europe, and have really enjoyed it!

I would like to see Australia incorporated into AK. It would be amazing to have a savannah like area for the animals of Australia. They could do a large water feature/tank to minic the Great Barrier Reef. Australia is just to "big" to squeeze into Epcot.

I think Australia needs some love either in the form of a World Showcase pavilion or a land in the Animal Kingdom. It shoud be represented somewhere.

I'm very confused about that option. What on earth do these countries have in common? Three different continents, religions, standards of living. Also, I've never heard of Tanzunia... are you referring to Tanzania? This grouping is mystifying.

I'm sorry. I was just stating different countries. I didn't realize that people would over analyze these options. It's just a fantasy question and nothing more to it. I apologize if it confused you.

I think Egypt or Greece would be cool but Disney wouldn't open a country pavilion without a long term sponsor, probably the country's tourism bureau, so Greece is probably out. They have no money. Egypt has some issues now so they are probably out.

If Epcot could expand the World Showcase and not just try to shoehorn in a country or 2, here is what I would like to see.

First and foremost, I would like to see the area between France and Canada (you know who I mean) expanded and then divided into 4. Have a distinctive English, Scottish, Welsh and Irish sections in the region. Having been raised Irish Catholic in Boston, I always wondered why Ireland didn't have it's own pavillion. Now that I've grown up, I think that all of the people of the isles should be represented. Plus... Have you ever noticed that England always seems to have Irish or Scottish music playing at the pavillion. I found that ironic.

Greece: With its roots in everything western civilization and food would be a nice addition. Also it's rich religous/mythological background (ie celebrations/festivals) could make it a fun place for the kids to absorb the heritage.

I know some people have suggested that since Africa has 1/3 of Animal Kingdom that it didn't need a representative here. But I think the Republic of Kenya would make a nice addition. It would be the perfect combination with Epcot. A park that tries to look to the future and the country that is referred to as the "Cradle of Man".

Russia: I think the achitecture would be a nice contrast to some of the other contries there. The food would be an interesting option (I never thought I'd eat Scandanavian food til Akershus). Plus, there is no vodka option for Drinking Around the World .

I'm on the fence with India and Australia. Though, since Australia is a continent as well as a country, I feel that it could be introduced at Animal Kingdom, in conjunction with Asia and Africa.

Russia, India or Israel....i'd enjoy all three...

but i find it unlikely that Russia would be interested - they HATE america so i can't see them wanting to drop all that money in america..

India would be interested in improving their image in america, so maybe they'd be willing to spend the money..

Israel doesn't have the money to support a pavilion, but it would have great potential for a cool pavilion (i'd opt for a water ride - kayaking on the jordan river...what we do every time we go up to the galilee)...
