Your Must Do's for Disney Dream?

Using the spa's showers/dressing room is FREE. You do not need a Rainforest room pass to use it.

SW
I didn't realize that until after my last cruise but I had the Rainforest pass anyway. The dressing room/locker area feels like it is part of the spa as it even includes a steam room. It's nice that it is free and I imagine a lot of people in the fitness center use it after their workouts as well.

We so enjoyed our double dip on the Dream on June 10th!

See Beauty and the Beast.
Go to the free dessert event at Venellope's Sweet Shop at night. (not sure which day it is! I missed it but the other family we sailed with went and said it was AMAZING!)

Sorry, I know that is 2 things.
Do they have the free desert event on the Fantasy?

They finally answered me! It was Thursday night, and there were various free desserts, and they also had a taco bar on the pool deck the same night. I swear none of this was on the Navigator! Our friends just wandered up there randomly and stumbled upon the free desserts and taco bar. Crepes with icecream, chocolate covered stuff, fudge. He was up there about 11:00pm. No idea when it started! (we were on the Dream, june10 - june15 sailing)

Tour the Rainforest room as it's much larger than the one on the Magic. If you like what you see then purchase a pass for the entire cruise so you can come and go as you please. I agree with Disneytravelers2008 that it's a lot easier getting changed and using their showers vs.the ones in your room. I found out recently that you don't need to have a pass to use the showers/locker room so keep that in mind as well. They also have the fancy Elemis products which concierge-level gets.

The pastries served in the Cove Cafe are free! I made this mistake and in the evenings they have prosciutto, breads, assorted cheeses, meats and olives.

Lay on the comfy throwback deck chairs on the promenade and take it all in. It's even better at night and usually very quiet.

Where is the cove cafe?

Cove Cafe is located in the adults-only section of Deck 11 right near the pool.

What deck is the promenade? It looks like a wonderful place to relax, and I think it would be fun to take some photos there too (Your's is so pretty!)

That would be deck 4. Photo isn't mine though. :duck:

Thank you for checking, we will have to keep an eye out. Yum!

CORRECTION!! It was actually WEDNESDAY night, which was night #4 of the 5 night cruise. And the head waiter told our table at dinner that same evening, according to our friends. I missed that announcement!

I'm following along with this one too :D

I got off the Dream on Wednesday. I made sure to stop by the first day and ask about the free dessert event at Vanellope's. The lady looked at my like I was crazy. You can try various flavors of ice cream and gelato for free like most places but nothing else free that I could find.

sad day :(

Were you on the 5 night? I promise you, there was a free dessert thing. Same night as the taco bar! Night 4 on a 5 night. It was actually the same night as pirate night, the 2nd castaway cay day. It was NOT on the Navigator, but our head waiter (the guy who visited our table once during dinner each night) told us to head up there after the fireworks. I did not go, but the other 10 people in our sailing party did. (my only regret of the whole cruise!)

It sounds like the Vanellope's "free dessert" that is being discussed is actually the buffet in Cabanas that follows the fireworks on Pirate Night.

To my understanding, that occurs every Pirate Night.
