Blue flashlight that I still have given to everyone who stay at the Contemporary when hurricane Floyd paid us a visit in 1999.

Top that.

That hurricane was both scary and beautiful. We had an excellent view of Bay Lake from our room.

"Temporary Ruler of the Realm" (or whatever it was called) medallion given to one of our sons by Merlin when he was picked for the Sword in the Stone ceremony.

Runner-up: Our master-bedroom furniture which is a full set from Wilderness Lodge that we bought from Mouse Surplus... complete with WL telephone.

We can count the temporary ruler or the realm but unless the furniture was actually purchased while on vacation I may have to disqualify it.

I think my blue flashlight may still be winning though.

Okay, so what ARE the rules? It has to be something purchased while on vacation? So a free flashlight would not qualify? :confused3

More info please.

Geoff: Way cool on the bedroom furniture! :goodvibes

How about a real pearl, cracked yourself from an Oyster at Typhoon Lagoon? I know- it's no blue flashlight! ;)

I have the letter they put in our room during Hurrican Floyd telling us to be bring our patio furniture inside the room and put water in the bath tub incase they lost water.
We didn't get flashlights...thats fun.

We were staying at the Beach Club during Floyd;)

McDonald's lightup crystal necklaces promoting the "Atlantis" movie.
All three kids used their crystals when they young and scared on dark rides. (Especially the "Snow White's Scary Adventures")

A little glow goes a long way to heading off fear. :goodvibes

Also have a bar of Mickey soap from the early 1990's, when we stayed at the Contemporary.

A souvenir is something acquired on vacation.

We still have our letter too and a newspaper from that day! Did you buy mouse ear candles in case the power went out? We still have that candle too. The booze we bought is long gone though.

You should complain about the flashlight. That is not right that some of us got one and not everyone. However I will feel superior for being one of the speshul ones just the same. ;)

Blue flashlight rules ALL!

I'll see your soap and raise you a roll of toilet paper!

Purple light bulb that fell off the Main Street Electrical Parade

Its not me but one of my BFF's has a 3 yr old LOL :scared1:
For myself I have a 100 yr Mickey sign that they were changing out when we were there and I asked if I could have it while they were still on the ladder : ) It is a small one used on the light poles . Its my small piece of the magic

I have a visor with flashing lights across the top that were made for the 15th WDW anniversary in 1986. The visor has printed on it "I'm A Winner" and the lights still work(with a fresh battery). :earsboy:

7 pairs of Tinkerbell underwear

We arrived at WDW and as I was unpacking I noticed I forgot to pack underwear for DD so I had to buy a whole week's worth of it at a Poly gift shop.

Oh, and I have a washcloth from the Poly that was accidently mixed in with some of our dirty laundry and smuggled home.

100% sure, my DD7, but since I can't prove it, I guess the blue flashlight still wins...:flower3:

Not only is she unusual, she's also VERY expensive. She's from our 2004 trip.

I have:

My husband (married at DL during vacation)

My Engagement ring (while on vacation at Epcot)

My job (I found out while I was in WDW)

I have a book autographed by a bunch of Imagineers that I got while vacationing at DL for an event to raise scholarships for Cal Tech (where Imagineers usually go to school).

I have other cool stuff, but I wasn't technically "on vacation" at the time of getting them. DL is just 53 minutes away from me.
