I'm straight, and I really don't think I'd be able to date a bi-sexual guy. I already hate that I have to worry about girls, I would absolutely hate to have to watch the guys too. I don't have a problem with homosexuality, just not something I would do, or something i would expect the person I could fall in love with to do. So no, I would not, that would be kinda a turnoff to me.. maybe its a southern thing, and just how I was raised. Please don't bash, I was just answering the question

that is how i am too.
it is just the way i was raised and not something i could see myself being involved in.
to be honest, in my hometown, i think there have been a total of two gay/bi guys here anyway.

and they are both older and have moved out and everything.
they are both very sweet and great guys, but i could NEVER see myself dating either one of them.

exactly. I live in a small southern town, and I know one boy that's gay. But like you said he's older and has already moved out. He's actaully living in NY and he's an Abercombie model, and the cutest thing I have ever layed eyes on. He's didn't come out to his parents or anyone until his graduation day, then he left two days later and went to NY.

i voted no, i'm straight and my bf is straight, and as much as i love gay people and strongly believe in LGBT rights, I think I'd be a bit weirded out if I found out Derek was bi.

I said 'like shelby said'....with which i meant she said that there are surely exceptions to the rule of bisexuals not being manly. sorry probably shouldve quoted cuz its on the first page lol.
at any rate, i can't picture my guy flirting with another guy and being manly about it. that's just me though.

The part I bolded: I feel exactly the same. I used to get so pissed if I caught my ex boyfriend looking at other girls while I was around (I knew he would do it otherwise I just didn't like it when I was there). I couldn't imagine if I had to deal with him looking at guys too. I'd go crazy.
