Okay--there is the nicest--what is your funniest....

Here is mine:

I believe I was in high school on a trip to MK with the family--including cousins.

We went to ride space mountain and I was wearing birckenstock style slip on shoes--as I climbed into the car for the ride--my shoe fell into the track--another guess--without missing a beat...came up to the car and said "Your shoe is down there" (as if it was my child or gold or something). The CM pushed the car forward and yep--my shoe is confirmed to be below the track. So I got to ride the ride one foot shoeless and had to wait at the end. They had to shut down the ride for about 5 to 10 minutes so someone could go down in the track to get my shoe.

About 20 minutes after getting off of the ride--a cast member comes carrying my shoe on a stick (I don't blame him :)

My family still teases me about my shoe lost on space mountain.

Well, this wasn't really funny at the time, but it is now when I think about it....

My parents took my brother and I to WDW when I was 15 and he was 12. We fought the entire time! There is endless video footage (that our father took) of the two of us....arms crossed, huge scowls, biting each others heads off. My parents swore they would never take us again, but they took us back to WDW 2 years later....with a much better outcome, lol. :p

There we were at the happiest place on earth and neither of us cracked a smile once. ;)

BUMP--

Noone has any funny moments--it can be at the expense of friends, relatives, or Eisner if necessary for you to share :teeth:

Our first time at Disney with our 2 sons who have autism. At the time ages 4 and 1 1/2. We were really unsure of how they would react to "flying" in dumbo, but away we went. I had my 1 yr old and Dh was behind me with my 4yr old. All of a sudden I hear " You spewed on me!" He threw up on his dad before the ride even started. We had to yell at a cast member to not start the ride until we got off.

Needless to say, that things went downhill very fast after that. Everyone, except me, in our party of 7 got violently ill. We missed days at the park. Ended up in the ER with my son. It was the vacation from hell. We are returning at the end of may and praying that things go better. Those poor housekeepers. We called so many times for more towels and bed changes.

My son was 5 during our first visit to MK and POTC was his favorite ride. We rode 3 times and he asked me to video tape it so he could watch it at home.

At Epcot the next day, we were on Living with the Land boat when our tour guide, Jose, asked my son if he'd been to the MK and what his favorite ride was. My son told him he had and that his favorite ride was the "Pirates of the Can 'O Beer". I thought Jose was going to choke he was laughing so hard! Just as the tour started Jose got on the microphone to the rest of the passengers, introduced his new friend Tyler and said for those who hadn't been there yet that Tyler highly recommended the MK ride "Pirates of the Can 'O Beer"! The whole boat was cracking up!

The first time we took our nephew to DW, he refused to go into the Tower of Terror. The second time, that was all he was talking about, we get to TOT and I ask him again if he wants to ride it and he says yes. So, he goes with DH, his sister and my BIL and my other nephew. My SIL and I head to the Beauty and the Beast show with her 3 yr old. When the show is over and we start walking out I see Alex running towards me. I ask him where's everybody and he says they are outside. When we meet them outside and they see Alex they all started laughing so hard, his sister is laughing so much, she is crying. Alex's face is all red and I asked them what happened.. It seems that Alex when thru the preshow and he was fine ,but, when the elevator door opened and they were heading inside, Alex turned around screaming like a girl and actually ran against the cue to the exit. We are going again in October and I asked him if he would go on TOT and he clearly said I would rather stay home and go to school.:earboy2:

:D When my four year old son was asked by a CM at CBR if he was having fun he replied , "Yes, but it's hot as hell". The CM doubled over as we did after the initial embarassment. We were there in August and I must have made that statement one to many times!!!!!!!!!!:D

Oops!!:p It never fails to amaze me that the one thing a child will hear and repeat is the one thing you wish they wouldn't!!!

Once when we were headed back to our hotel after a long day at the parks we were waiting to take off on the Epcot monorail. It was really hot that day and the a/c wasn't working very well so it was stuffy in there. Seated across from us was a young family of four who looked totally wiped out. The mom was holding a baby about a year old and the other kid was about 3 or 4. My husband was talking to this kid and commented that his little brother was a cutie; the kid said "well he's cute but he's also a big pain in the a**". The mom looked horrified but we were cracking up:tongue: We mention that every so often when we're boarding the monorail - I tell my now 13 year old daughter - now listen you may be cute but you're a pain in the a**

Sounds like a fine lad! I wish I could enjoy POTC with a Can 'O Beer!

Not hillarious but, yesterday on the monorail we were seated across from a man and his two teenage boys or so I assumed they were. One said "hey EPCOT is that big ball thingy right"... "what is that?" The man says back to the boy "Its some dumb exibit there is nothing there but that ball"... the other boy says "oh alright so we going back to Disney then"... (mind you we were on the monorail going THROUGH EPCOT, over Mission Space, Test Track, etc...lol... the boy then says "oh wonder which place this is we are in"... OMG...lol!

My daughter, then 13 and I were waiting in line for ToT. She kept talking about how scary it was going to be (our first time ever riding it). She wouldn't shut up about. She was just kidding but was using a serious tone and pretended to start to cry when she saw people getting in the elevators but that no one was getting out. Right before boarding the little girl (around 8 yo) in front of us started crying and insisted that her father not make her go on the ride, she didn't want to disappear. Eventually a CM took her up to the exit to wait for her father. This was June 2002. My sincerest appology to that father, but we still laugh about it.

In March we were down there and getting on Pirates of the Can 'o Beer. 5yr old son asks "Is this like Splash Mountian" I said no, its more like Its a Small World" to which he responds " Oh, but it doesnt have that stupid @$$ song going over and over"

The CM loading us into the boats hears this and just starts laughing saying son just made his day...

Turns out 5 yr old son heard his uncle, my twin brother saying "this is a stupid @$$ song" while listening to the radio.

Later that same night really close to POTC near closing we were walking fast and son was running. CM (has a big crowd around him)says...Hey, no running or Im telling Mickey Mouse... I whisper in my ear something and he then repeats "Im calling your bluff.." and then runs off. The crowd and CM just erupt in laughter.
Later we walk by and the CM gives my son a high 5 and just laughs some more..

Kids are the best entertainment!!!

We were at MGM on day with my parents. My mom decided to sit on a bench to rest. She hadn't sat there long before a bird relieved himself on her head. We still laugh about it now. She had to wash her hair out in the restroom sink.

Okay, I have a couple of funny moments that happened in the same week but not at my expense....here it goes...

We went on vacation with my mom and dad and my sister and neice...my dad had never been to WDW before...we decided not to overwhelm him and take it kinda slow and we went to Animal Kingdom for the first day. Well my mom wasn't thinking and took dramamine on top of a lorizipan (sp?) these together had a major affect on her and she could not stay AWAKE!!! She would fall asleep standing!! She even fell asleep in ITTBAB!!! Imagine that!! Well, dad was not too impressed and said "You brougt me to Disney for this!!" Mom's response to that was to sleep with her head on his shoulder through all of dinner at Rainforest Cafe. When we talk about the day at AK, mom can't remember any of it! On a side not, my sister and I did not think that it was too funny at the time but we can't help but laugh at it now.

The next day was much better...mom was much more awake!! My sister is completely paranoid about elevators. Well you can guess which attraction she was dreading...TOT! She really wanted to experience it but was scared to death. My mom, sister and I went on the ride after my sister emptied her bladder because she said several times that "she was going to pee her pants." We went on TOT which was awesome as ususal! My sister was terrified and at the end of the ride was so greatful that she survived that she was crying hysterically. I was laughing so hard that I almost "peed my pants!!!"

With that said my dd is 3 and was 2 weeks shy of 2 when we went on this vacation. She remembers the most amazing details of our last trip and talks about who took her on the different rides. We are now planning a trip to WDW and a 7 night cruise in November. We are going with my mom and dad and an aunt and uncle who have never been to WDW. She cannot wait to try Splash Mountain and that is all that she talks about. While at my mom's a few weeks ago, my mom, my uncle and DD were looking at pictures of Splash Mountain on the computer. DD looks at my uncle and says "I'm going on that!" he says "Well, I'm going on that too"...DD responds with "you better be careful because you are going to pee your pants!!!" I wonder where she heard that!!!

All the other stories are great and keep them coming!!

I can't wait to ride the Pirates of the Can O' Beer!!!

Lisa, I was in hysterics with the visual of the CM bringing your shoe out on a stick!!!!

My funny experience was in 87 when I was there with my best friend, and we were in line to meet Minnie, and I went to take a picture of Minnie and my friend, and then got Minnie's autograph, where she wrote that I had my finger covering the camera lens, lol, needless to say, I had to re-take that picture!!

I just posted this story in another thread but I think this is the funniest and most memorable experience for me in the parks.

Last year we came into Epcolt through the International Gateway and headed into UK,
I on my scooter and we were promptly surrounded by the soldier guards there, they were all around me, next thing my husband starts marching around and they follow him, but when he came back to me they came again and were around me, next thing I know, I hear a very loud commanding "attention, about face, March" and it was MY HUSBAND they marched off to the sidewalk. the crowd went wild, he got lots of High fives and Semper fi's
I think If I live to be a hundred I will always remember that.

2 years ago ,when my daughter was 7, we went to see it's tough to be a bug. We had already done TOT, RNRC, Space Mountain and Alien Encounter with no problem, she is one daring kid. Anyway we are watching the show and she is sitting on my left and my husband is on my right. Well she starts getting scared, she grabs my arm and hides her face well by the time they spray the audience with bugspray she is freaking out ! there is the older heavyset gentleman wearing thick glasses sitting on the otherside of her. when the spiders come down she grabs the older gentleman, who looks nothing like my dh, by the shoulders and says "Daddy, Daddy get me out of here!" well at that moment she realizes that is not her father, she screams one last time and runs right out of the theater. oh my goodness the look on that mans face was priceless. Once we caught up with our DD we laughed so hard. we still laugh about it today.:rotfl: :rotfl:
