We have talked for hours about past trips to WDW and split our sides laughing about:

-my then two-year-old son draining a large Coke in one long sip during an afternoon parade and the dozen or so changes that followed.

-the crowd of people laughing at the expression on a woman's face in the post-ride photos on Dinasour. To this day, we regret not buying it, even though we weren't in that picture.

-the family running after the morning rope drops, once loosing my son's shoe and once leaving out-of-shape Dad (carrying the old camcorder) in the dust to have a nice peaceful collapse. Self-preservation at its finest.

Would love to hear some of yours!

My husband is very tall (6'4) and can see over most people's heads. A couple years ago during the afternoon parade at MK (I can't remember if it was the snow globe parade or the one previous), the mops (from Fantasia) we coming up the "road", we couldn't see them yet but DH could see the tops of them coming. He said "oh, here comes the dancing weiners". We didn't know what he was talking about until we too saw the "dancing weiners", but it has always stayed in my mind and makes me giggle. It was just so funny at the time! Also, again since DH can see over heads...he "steers" us through the crowds of people exiting the park. He peeks over the tops of the crowds to see which side of main street is moving faster and directs us into that "lane of traffic". It is always so funny, he makes little "vroom-vroom" noises as he steers us through the crowds. :)

25TH Wedding Anny. We went to HDDR for dinner show to celebrate. I got picked to be in production at end of show,I was picked to play Davey's angel. They put you in a pink tutu to play part,me in a pink tutu LOL.Wife and all others were laughing so hard I turned pinker than my tutu.:earsboy:  :earsgirl: :sunny:

Way Back in the olden days .... 1977..... on my second trip to the World

My Mom and I were waiting for my dad and brother to come off the Speedway.

While we were watching the cars come in to the station, a teen-age boy accidentally bumped an older lady's car. She turned and chastised him vehemently. The boy was very embarrassed.

When the cars moved forward again, he waited ntil she pulled up and stopped and then proceeded to bump her again on purpose.

Well, her head flew back and..... her wig flew off!!!!!

We still laugh about the lady who "flipped her wig" at WDW!!!

Just this past Saturday, we entered the Hall of Presidents. A family of four entered behind us, and the little boy, about 3, said, "Daddy, are there any snakes in this movie?" His dad replied, "Yes, son, at least one." Stephen and I both cracked up on that one.

We always love riding Tower of Terror first thing in the morning. That's when you get the most first time riders. We have more fun listening to the reaction than the ride itself. Well, maybe not more fun, but it's great to hear what they say.

These are great! I will never look at the "dancing mops", The Hall of the Presidents, or the kids on the Speedway again without remembering these stories.

My wife reminded me of the time we were floating in tubes together in the stream around Typhoon Lagoon. Some kids ran through the area splashing, so I reached out and grabbed her leg and held on until they had passed. I said "I got you, honey!" The man whose leg I had actually grabbed replied, "Ok, sweetie!".

St.LouisFan - That one made me LOL.
When my kids were younger we had an uph pass so we decided to check out PI. Well it really wasn't for us with four kids and the oldest being 12 so we walked in one exit and out the other. On the way out a middle aged man dressed up as a woman asked if he could take a survey. Well at first I thought it must be part of an act but he never battered an eye and I took the survey. We really didn't have much to say being we were only in PI for five minutes. Walking back to the bus I thought for sure my older son would say something but nothing. Well after we were settled on the bus my younger daughter. I think she was four at the time says "Mommy that woman looked just like Mrs. Doubtfire." I thought I would die. My two older kids couldn't stop laughing. We still talk about the day Mrs. Doubtfire was in the park.

funhouse 8 - That one made me (and the family) LOL! Thanks for sharing!:)

funny or embarassing..in the very spooky claustophobic inducing tom Sawyer island cave, didn't anticipate how scarey they would be and stared to lose it but was trapped by people in front and behind. tried to feel my way along the wall and in the process managed to stick my hand right in a teen age boy's mouth. he happened to start to say something right at the wrong moment. he laughed but i was glad I couldn't see him.

This was my magical and funniet moment, I was 8 and recovering from Hip surgery, and we were waiting for all the characters to come out and my mom wheeled me to the back of the castle ( I was in a wheelchair at the time, I could walk but for limited stints) ANYWAY, 1 by 1 each character came out and spent about 5 minutes playing with me before going out front to greet everyone else, it was hysterical...chip and dale wheeled me around then pinnochio get in the chair and goofy was pushing us around then I got up and played with Donald.....eventually all the characters went out front and I stood there with my head down sad that I didnt get to see Mickey, all of a sudden two big shoes in my face and theres MICKEY!!! He took my hand and we walked out together in front of the castle...I just remember laughing so hard playing with everyone and the magic of that moment...LOYAL Disney fan ever since:)

Minky - If you had that on a video and they made it into a commercial for WDW, the parks would be packed 365 days each year! That is what WDW is all about!

LOL! You know you are right...and I think later on when I was 12 I even saw a commercial that was something like that, not quite but similiar....ever since then I was so swept up in the Disney magic and to date (knock on wood) I have always had the best ecperience with the parks and CM's and other guests.

DawnAK....I know what you mean....my husband is 6'10'' and its great to have someone who can see over the crowd!! the wiener story is something that my dh would say too.

some of the funniest things have happened because of my dh size....one time, we were taking pictures with the beast ( who is shorter than my dh) and as we were leaving, the beast pretends to "bow down" to dh and my dh goes..hey...see you later buddy!
it was silly.

one time, after coming back from the parks on a bus it started downpouring. We got off the bus at OKW and my dh took off running....in the wrong direction!!! It was his first time there but what makes it so funny is that being so tall and a runner all his life, he was half way to the other end of the resort by the time he heard us. we still laugh about til this day!

When my 2nd son was around 2+ we were at Epcot and he was in a stroller and Donald Duck came over to him and I said to Eric Oh Look Donald is a shorty like you, WELL Donald got so angery with me he stomped his feet and shook his fist at me to let me know under no terms did he liked being called short. My Dh and I laughed so hard I couldn't even get the words out to tell him how SORRY I was.
Now Eric is 15 and close to 6 ft...........:)

We were flying into Orlando and my daughter loves to look out the window. She got all excited and said, "Mom, look!!!!" So I looked out and see the city and asked what she was looking at. By this time she had the attention of quite a few passengers who were also looking out the window. I asked her, what are you looking at? She says, "Mickey has a McDonalds too!!!!!!!!" Everyone around us laughed, she just thought it was fantastic that there was a McDonalds in Orlando :teeth:

These stories are cracking me up!

One time my dad and I were staying at Port Orleans. While we were walking to the boat launch, a mockingbird started to attack my dad! He was divebombing him and sticking his claws into my dads scalp. We were trying to run away and we were laughing at the same time, so we know other people must have thought we looked crazy. We still laugh every time we remember that.

for everyone struggling to get CRT Ps...years ago we got a long anticipated lunch Ps. finally the big moment arrived and we happily took our young daughters in hand and up the stairs to Cinderella's dining room! as we were eating Cnderella came to visit and low and behold, oldest daughter ( maybe 8 at the time) was sitting bolt upright in her chair, chef salad in front of her, fast asleep! so much for that PS!

On our 2003 visit to MK we were walking down a trail on the backside of Frontier Land where the french fry stand is and on the hillside were a flock of cranes watching everyone walking by just waiting for someone to drop french fries. They looked almost animatronic in their movements, only the bold ones would approach the benches near the stand and beg for handouts. Other cranes would just wait til someone spilled fries. It made for a wonderful photo opportunity and a good belly laugh!

On our first family trip to the world last Nov., we flew into Orlando after midnight. It was a very long flight, as I said, it was the first trip for my 3 and 5 yr old as well has DH. So the anticipation made the flight seem to take 12 hours. Anyway, after the car rental, hotel check in etc, it was about 2:30 in the am when we crawled into bed. At this point, my DS, 5 yr old, said to me in the darkness, "Mom will we start having fun tomorrow ?"
