My favorite vacation other than disney has got to have been traveling to Bermuda. The beaches their are gorgeous and the atmosphere is amazing. I don't know if it tops disney, but thats not what this thread is about ;)

So whats your favorite vacation other than disney?

Other than Disney? What are you talking about?

Are you some kind of *Troll* ?

Im not aware of any other vacation destinations - sorry, cant help ya. :stir:

Our family really loves spending a week in the summer at Disney's Hilton Head Island resort.

I'd have to say Hawaii. It was just so beautiful and relaxing but that was before children. With the kids I'd have to say Williamsburg. My family just a blast there. Between colonial Williamsburg, Busch Gardens, Watercountry USA and go karts every night they loved it.

Disney is really the only place we go :thumbsup2

We've taken a few weekend trips here & there...we always enjoy Ocean City, NJ and Hershey PA.

I wouldn't say "favorite" but we enjoy going to Branson, MO a few times each summer. We dont stay on the strip because its too busy. But we love going to Silver Dollar City, Celebration City, and just hanging out in the Ozarks. Its beautiful down there!!! Its very close to home and affordable, so we try to go at least twice a year! Not Disney, but it gives us a little "fix" in between Disney trips!!!

My favorite vacation, other than DW would be Myrtle Beach. We can't do DW every year, but can generally work in MB. We all love the beach and there is so much to do and so many good restaurants! Oh man- I'm ready to go now!! :sunny: (To MB and DW!!)

My favorite vacation ever taken (besides Disney) was to see "my people" in Slovenia. Not likely to repeat that trip anytime soon due to time/cost constraints, so the favorite place I like to return to for a vacation (again, other than Disney) is Montana. Beautiful. :cloud9:

I would say so far it is Hawaii, but I'm going to Cancun in 6 weeks so that could change.

I would have to say a Royal Carribean cruise - Voyager class. Simply outstanding. We've also liked Washington, DC and most recently, New York City at Christmas time.

The unbelievable National Parks in the southwest - Mesa Verde, Bryce Canyon, Zion, Grand Canyon, Canyon de Chelley, Arches, etc. It's been almost 3 years since we took a 3 week trip there and my kids still talk about it!!

I guess I have to consider this more of a "trip" than a "vacation" so not sure if it answers the original question....

Maui, and I am leaving tomorrow morning for ten days, I am just so excited!

we always have a good time on vacation--even when it's a mini(not Minnie ::MinnieMo ) get away
so far we really like PA--lots of history, great B&Bs & good Penn Dutch cooking
also like Mystic ( & surrounding)Connecticut. the Village & the Seaport & Aquarium, sailing :boat:

Last summer, we did a road trip through the west. We saw the Badlands, Devil's Tower, Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, Jackson Hole, and Colorado Springs. I would have to that has been our best trip so far.

I spent 10 days in Fiji last May. It was with out a doubt the most beautiful place I have ever been!!

The Oregon coast and California coast is beautiful. San Francisco is a sparkling destination, too. We also enjoyed Cape Cod.

Just about the same here!! My favorite one place is Yellowstone but if you're going to go there you might as will do the Tetons, Jackson Hole, Glacier, Devils Tower, Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse and the Badlands. And if you're into torture/boredom visit the Corn Palace. :thumbsup2

The Bavarro Beach Palace in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. It's absolutely paradise and IMO the RD is underrated. Shhhhhhhhhhh.
