February-not crowded, weather is great warm enough to swim but not HOT

Any month!!! :goodvibes But if I had to pick just one, it would be August. I love the heat and at the end of the month, the crowds are pretty small.

Mid May. We went this past May around the 14th, and it was perfect. It was high 80's with the breeze almost the entire time (not TOO hot, perfect for all those water rides though), and it was just before all the northern schools and most colleges let out, so the crowds were very minimal, I loved it!

We usually go during July for our annual trek, however, this year DS and I went Sept 30-Oct 3 and that was totally cool. We loved MNSSHP!! Last year we went the week before Christmas and it was nice but really crowded the night we went to the MK. We are trying January for the first time next year, can't wait to see how it is!

November--either Veteran's day week or Thanksgiving week. Usually nice, mild weather, not unbearably crowded and I have to take less vacation time due to the holidays. Also more affordable season for Disney rates.

Mid-September for the low crowds
early December for the holiday decorations
first week of February for low crowds and comfortable temps.

BINGO - I can't believe the number of people here lauding the no longer "low" seasons of April, October and early-mid December. Those are all no longer as "secret" as they used to be (too many people reading up on WDW while making plans/trying to be contrarian), and the shorter park hours and limited entertainment schedules...well, they just....stink.

Late August, however, is still a pure, great secret season. The sunbelt is back in school and the heat scares away a lot of Northerners, so crowds shrink dramatically below peak summer levels, room rates fall and park and entertainment schedules are still relatively long/full. Making judicious use of Tour Guide Mike and lots of ARs, we did all four parks at a relaxed pace over nine days late last August and never -- I repeat, never waited more than ten minutes for anything.

So please everyone, stay away from late August, and tell all your friends it is hot and horrible....heh heh heh............. :smooth:

I love early June. I'm a teacher so the school breaks are usually too crowded so I like to get down there in the early part of June while the crowds are still fairly low and it's not real hot yet. :)

We really loved going in May last trip that we are going the same time of year next trip!!

Couldn't agree with you more!! I always tell everyone that the humidity is the worst!!

If hurricane season doesn't scare you off and you don't have kids just starting school and you don't mind humid weather and hot temperatures and lots of thunderstorms :umbrella: ...early September is wonderful! We home school, so just when everyone else is getting back to cracking the books we take off for two weeks usually arriving the Sunday of Labor Day weekend. We try and spend Monday at Discovery Cove :fish: (never any crowds there) and then after everyone else heads back to start the work week and school year we have ourselves Disney bliss...low crowds, no lines, lots of special attention from cast members, no need to get to parade routes early and my very favorite of all...a special family tradition that we get to share Mickey and company! :earsboy: This September we will be heading down a week later and doing one week at WDW and spending the next aboard the Magic! :boat:

We have gone in Feb. and that was a great time as well...maybe even a bit better if you don't like the heat and high humidity and you don't want to take your chances with hurricane season pirate: .

For our family, it's just a way to celebrate the start of our home school year. :teacher: And of course a way to get back to WDW...always a great time no matter what time of the year! :earboy2: :cool1:

October followed by early December and then January thru April.Basically October is great for the F&W festival, MNSSHP, Halloween Horror nights, Howl -o-scream then in December you have all the Christmas events in Disney and I simply love to go during the winter months after christmas(beats summer every time).
