This is a toss up but CSR nudges out POR...I won't even review POFQ & CBR beacuse I don't think they are worthy..Sorry Not bashing, just not a huge fan of those 2..

Let it be known I'm only comparing the two I think are worthy. I personally wouldn't choose CBR, or POFQ. Sorry to dis those that love them 2.

Also both times I went to these were during Jersey weeks in Nov.

CSR- Resort Grounds: The theming here is really nice. All 3 areas are unique to its section and very well maintained. A nice walk around the whole resort is roughly 15-20 minutes or so.

POR- Resort Grounds: The theming here is also very nice. Just a little different. Southern feel. Both gorgeous grounds though. I'd say just a tad longer to walk around the grounds, but a pleasant stroll again.

CSR- Rooms: Stayed in Casitas 4 which had renovated rooms & was a perfect location. Queen Size beds too.

POR- Rooms: Stayed in Magnolia Mansions. Also Beautifully redone, w/ queen size beds as well.

CSR- Pool The main Pool is awesome. Really nice slide. Plenty of lifeguards on duty. Never Ever, ever crowded. I think the most amount of people there while we stayed was maybe 20. The quieter pools are very nice too.

POR- Pool: This Pool Is very nice as well. Slide is just a tad smaller than CSR but equally nice. the pool always had plenty of people around , but never felt like overcrowded. You always had plenty of chaise loungers to sit at. a lot more kids it seemed too. quieter pools were just that very quiet..

CSR Food Court: aka. pepper market. I know not many people like the idea of being escorted to you seat, but literally u wait maybe 5 secs, honestly. Never is it packed, the market itself has a nice array of food too. A small gratuity ( maybe $5 ) should cover your server.

POR- Food Court: Although the food selections here are awesome, the way it's set up is like the values. And yes the seating area is bigger, It was always busy, no matter what time of day. Mornings are Chaotic though. Worse lines here than the darn parks...LoL

CSR- Bus Service: The best hands down: Although there are multiple stops, It seems most people grab it at the main one, to go to the parks. Never di we wait for more than 1 bus which were sooo frequent. NEVER did we have to come close to standing either, Going to the parks or returning..

POR- Bus Service: This one was just Eh. Imho. At least heading out to the parks in the morning. I think we waited for an extra bus 3 days going to parks. Coming back from DTD we waited for 3 buses, & forget coming back from Fantasmic. That was like 7 buses... But when we do return, the west stop ( i think) was very close to our mansion, which was nice.
Also POR, Has the Boat ride to DTD, which is a pleasant ride & convenient.

I didn't eat at either of the 2 TS restaurants here, but have heard very good things about both. Also POFQ is just a smaller version of POR, but the New Orleans theming & closer feel, just didn't do it for me. Also the pool is a lil on the kiddish side. CBR I'm just not a big fan of. Layout, Theming, buses. The pool is good though. If I want to get a tropical theme ,then I'll go to the islands, not here. Thats just my $.02. Sorry. Don't mean to offend all of the CBR lovers

My suggestion, ( although its a hard one ) would probably got to CSR.Especially w/ no kids involved too. It's a convention hotel , so it's never too crowded.

We love POFQ because of the size, the atmosphere, the pool, the food court, and we love the ferry that takes you to DTD and back.

Being a family of 5 we dont have many choices... POR is the only Moderate we will fit into, besides wilderness Cabins, but they are $1000+ more per week. We fit into Deluxe/Villa accommodations but they are very expensive and the All Star family suits are just not what we are looking for...

I hope that Disney will realize that they limit bigger families when it comes to variety and moderate resorts. I'd like to stay at other resorts but until DS12 goes to college or we win the lottery, I don't see it happenin'! ;)

I voted for POR, love the mansion section. We love the theming and landscapping of POR. And just feel it has a little more to offer with a boat to DTD, horse & carriage rides, evening entertainment in the lounge, a great food court, fun pool, etc.

I voted for CSR.
Granted, I've only been to CBR and CSR but my vote stands :)

We're two adults - no kiddos.

CBR just did not cut it for us. The only thing we liked about the place was the food court.

CSR just felt much more resort-ish rather than a motel.

Just my two cents! But we hardly spend much time at the resorts when we go anyways haha

I voted CSR because I want everybody to go there and stay away from my lil POFQ :cool1:

Funny! I voted POFQ, but it would really be a close tie between POFQ and CSR. I love both for different reasons. I go to WDW several times a year (getting five trips out of my current AP:cool1:) and usually stay in a moderate, so have stayed at all four within just the last year or so. I'd rank them:

tie for #1. and #2. POFQ and CSR
#3. PORS
#4. CBR (and that's a very distant #4:rotfl:)

I prefer the more comfortable beds, better bus service, relaxing feel of the Cabanas, and food court at CSR, but love how small POFQ is and the boat to DTD.

POFQ is the WORST. It takes hours and hours to walk everywhere. The boat to DTD is so fast and speedy. It barely touches the water as you fly to DTD. The grounds are the dirtiest, garbage everywhere. The rooms haven't been refurbished in years. So my advice is stay anywhere but POFQ...

And with that, we are going to my favorite resort POFQ in May ;););)

CSR, easy schmeasy.

But we're staying at POR for the first time with kids because I want to stay in the Royal room.

The only resort I have not been to is CSR. Of the three that we have stayed at I voted for POFQ. Love the theme, how small it is, and how close it is to POR. A very easy walk along the river gets you there and you can enjoy the resort as much as you want.

Not a lot of love for CBR on this poll :confused3

I've been at CBR during the months of Oct and early Dec, so not exactly busy times of the year. Each time the bus service was the worst of all the moderates, housekeeping was pretty bad, did not care for the food court or the TS restaurant, main pool and hot tub was always so packed we couldn't even get in them, and the resort just feels bigger than the other moderates. As soon as PORS finishes their refurb, CBR will be the only moderate that doesn't have queen size beds. It is a very pretty resort though and we did enjoy the quiet pool. It is also very centrally located. It was just too big though. It is the only resort that has an internal bus just to get people around to the different villages. It has seven bus stops compared to POFQ's one and CSR and PORS four. It is my least favorite of the moderates, however, I will stay there again (but only when I get bored of staying at the other three moderates).

I just love the boat to DTD from the two PO resorts and Ye Haw Bob at PORS and Elliot Dyson at POFQ. I love how small and compact POFQ is. I love the food courts at CSR and PORS. I prefer the main pool and longer pool slide at CSR and love their great bus transportation, more comfortable beds, biggest hot tub on property, and the look of their rooms. Plus CSR has a health club/beauty salon that the other moderates don't have. It feels more like a Deluxe at a Moderate price. CBR is just OK, whereas all three of the other moderates have something that I really love, so I usually go with one of them.

I personally did not like POFQ AT ALL. Wasnt a fan. Didnt like the look of the buildings, the tiny food court/selection, or the grounds. I love POR. So gorgeous. Amazing food court. So much to do there. Hands down my fave mod.

Having stayed at all of them, POR is my favorite. We love the grounds, pools, think the food court is the best on property and it just feels like home to us.

That said, I am beyond excited to be back at CBR again in a few weeks.

POR is my favorite but I love all the moderates!

Is this true that POR has Queen size beds?
