I remember having to have "tickets" to ride rides but If You Had Wings was free. Along with the Carousel of Progress. We rode those over and over when I was a kid.

So many people have said Horizons. What is it we all liked about it? I know the song said "Horizons where dreams can come true!" And the orange smell.

20,000 Leagues!!! I remember my first trip to WDW when I was 8 years old & that ride just amazed me. I can't even tell you how many times I rode it that trip.

After that is Mr. Toad's. Which way are we gonna go.....which way are we gonna go.....

And Snow White's was a rite of passage. You haven't lived until you've had the crap scared out of you on that thing.

My first trip, I road 20,000 leagues and I remember seeing the surface of the water and feeling somehow disenchanted. And when did Snow White disappear? I don't have a memory of riding it specifically last time 5 years ago, but we must have. My ex always wanted to ride on the "Toady car". One time- and i have a video of this somewhere- in 1996 he exclaimed, "I get to ride in the Toady car!!" Mind you, he was 24 at the time, too.

No COP is still open. They just released anniversary tshirts. I got one. Maybe it changed or moved or was closed at DL.

I think that one was getting dated too. The movies are old now. They did bring back the Micheal Jackson show Captain Eo there, though, right? I remember when that originally played, but not sure if that was at MK or EPCOT.

it may have been dated but it was 1,000,000 times better than EO.

Ha ha...I have no idea. I am far from being a Disney veteran. Was it when they expanded FantasyLand? I just remember being young (the same trip as 20,000 Leagues), & my older cousins who had already been to Disney a couple times before, getting me to ride it. Telling me how it's about Snow White & "Don't I love princesses?". Which is actually funny because no, I was always more of a Rainbow Brite, She-Ra, Wonder Woman kind of little girl. But I digress....I remember riding it & curling up in the fetal position on the pavement afterwards. Ok, not really...but you get my point. My cousins thought it was hilarious.

Disney has been releasing shirts for their classic attractions, ie COP, Tiki Room, Splash Mountain, Haunted Mansion, Pirates. They sell them through the Disney Store site, but most of them are limited edition. I got on some mailing list (don't know how), and now I get emails about them. I also get a lot of other junk from Disney too.

I think Snow White was closed down about a year ago?

I miss all of the attractions that have been mentioned here, except for Body Wars. Cool concept, but the motion made me come very close to an unpleasant result a time or two. Toad, 20K, Horizons, and the lovely original JII are sorely missed by me.

I miss the whole Wonders of Life pavilion. Body Wars was one of my favorites.

20,000 Leagues Under The Sea, Body Wars, and the Skyway that used to run from Fantasyland to Tommorrowland. ;0) I had to ride in the red one drove my parents nuts... Lol!
