Your Experience With The New Monorail Schedule

Can anyone suggest some options to get from CBR to Poly before or around 7:00am? Our initial plan was take the first bus to magic kingdom, then monorail to Poly. However, with this change I don't think that's going to work anymore. I know taxi is an option, anything else though?

Someone suggested that certain cars of a monorail could be kept closed for boarding at the ticket and transportation center so that there would be room left for the Poly and GF guests.

They used to do this. They also used to have a resort-exclusive loop that didn't stop at the TTC.

I guess they got complaints when cars went by empty with crowds waiting at the station.

Are they still running extra buses in the morning to Magic Kingdom and Epcot from the monorail resorts? Is the bus or boat the best option to get to the Magic Kingdom for EMH?

Is this still happening at GF and Poly in the mornings?

The great thing about CR is the walking option. When I heard of the monorail schedule change, I considered moving to CR from GF. I ultimately decided to stay put, but I wish we could walk to MK from GF.

I thought the same. I'm sticking with GF but it is a hassle with our early MK ADRs.

I thought we'd have heard more about this by now

I'd like to know about the boats from GF - MK, how early they start running, whether they're stopping at the Poly before MK, and how long they're taking to reach MK.

Any info would be great

jhaig, I think we'll be checking into the GF on the same day!?
I'll be at the Beach Club for a week, then GF on the 9th

I hope they still run all of the early MK transportation once the busy season ends and we reach September
Better yet, I just hope the maintenance is finished by September, although I doubt it

I wonder if they'll find that fewer people are willing to pay the premium price for a hotel on the monorail line if they have to rely on buses the same as they would at a cheaper hotel.

I have ADRs at CP at 8:05 am. Staying at the YC. Sorry if this sounds dumb, but I thought the busses only took you to the TTC? I didn't think the busses took you to the front gates of MK. Anyone know what time the boats start in the morning from the TTC? I'm getting very worried about early morning ADRs and how to get there on time.

The buses take you right to the front gate; I think offsite buses drop off at the TTC. I'm a little confused though as to why you're worried about making an early ADR unless you're planning to drive. (The buses to the parks start running at 6:30 am every day.)
