yep, to graduate you have to have 3.5 years of gym. the only time you don't have gym is one semester your sophomore year. instead you take heath class. you can take gym that semester too if you want. or you can take early bird gym to fit another class into your schedule. i really like having gym every day every year. all the schools around me are like that, but i know its not common at all.

My freshman and sophomore years, our requirement was gym each semester, both years but that was it. Then junior year they changed it to each semester for 9-10, then one semester of 11 and one of 12. Junior year we convinced them to get waivers for kids that played on a sports team, but they decided against waivers my senior year. What a bummer. :(

At my HS you have to take 4 years of gym (3 marking periods each year), & 4 years of health (1 marking period each year) to graduate.

We can get a P.E Study Hall junior and senior year if you play a varsity sport and have a full schedule (no study hall) and sophomore, junior, and senior year if you are in marching band and have a full schedule. It's a little weird. And I have my thoughts on it, but I won't bore you guys with why my school is screwed up... =) ;)
