I want to be a columnist or a reporter for either the Charlotte Observer, or whatever the newspaper is in Charleston, SC. Prefferably Charleston, and I could have a 3-story row house only a couple blocks from the waterfront, right in downtown. And I could own an art gallery.

To be more detailed, I would like to work as a lawyer, do a column a couple times a week for the newspaper, own an art gallery, and live in downtown Charleston. The lawyer part may not work, but it's worth a shot

She says it's to hard to make a living off writing books unless you are amazing.

My one big dream in life is to become a social worker for DCFS. I could tell you all why, but I think everyone's already heard it enough.
I want to permanently CHANGE the foster care system, for the better.

If for some retarted reason something happens and I CAN'T be a social worker, I have two options.

-- If I never get over my basic.."fear" of putting myself out there, and being outgoing then I'll go to college and become a nurse.

-- BUT, if I actually do get over my shy-ness, I'd LOVE to be a politician.

I just want to grow up and make a difference, no matter how cliche' that sounds.

thats not cliche at all! well maybe it is but that isnt something to be ashamed about! i think its awesome for you to want to make a difference for foster children. that is an awesome goal to set for yourself.

and the fact that your alternative career path is still going to involve helping people is even more valiant. becoming a nurse is hard work, but it pays off when you see all your patients leaving with smiles on their faces
