Your biggest Disney disappointment / anti-climax?

Chester and Hester's Dinorama has never sat well with me ..... but apart from that I'm fine there are attractions I am not keen on and others I love.

Actually most of the food at parks disappoints me.I'm usually glad to get home for some decent food, obviously i have been looking in the wrong places.

I can't say any rides/shows disappoint me,i must be easily pleased. :)

I was VERY unhappy with the caribbean beach when we stayed there it really put me off

Don't know if I should be reading this thread, but it might help to reduce some expectations :)

My biggest disapointment is stiches great escape. Alien encounter was ahead of it's time and we always had such a giggle (i always got too scared). Also New Years Eve 2002/03. We had a lovely meal in EPCOT and the atmosphere was fantastic, then then came the rain. We were soaked through to our underwear and in bed by 11pm.

DH biggest let down is the fact that he always needs a holiday when he get home (too tired, getting old). Maria :cheer2:

Really racking my brains for things we don't like.

Am I the ONLY person who likes the Stich ride? lol

I don't like that twister type rise at AK in Dinoland - too jerky. Star Tours - too jerky - DS is the only one in our family who likes this, probably because he is younger and his head is better supported by the seat-back.

On our last couple of trips I dragged the family in to see 2 things we'd never done before - Country Bear Jamboree and the Liki Tiki Room - boy was I popular :) only go into these if it's VERY hot and you NEED air-con, and if there is no queue.

Ang :)

Stitch was a big let down.

I didnt mind the food I loved Liberty Inn.

Why was the poly a let down? and the Ohana?

Primeval Whirl. It was the new brand new, must see attraction when I last visited WDW, and thought it was a typical tacky fairground ride with a few plyboard dinosaurs for effect.

It has taken me a couple of days to think about this question and there are only two things that I can think of

1. Chester & Hester's Dino-Rama, DinoLand U.S.A. - it is tacky and doesn't fit in with the Animal Kingdom theme

2. The Great Movie Ride - loads of people seem to like this ride, but when we got off we couldn't see what all the fuss was about

BTW - I quite like Stitch's Great Escape, although we have never been on Alien Encounter so can't compare it

Like I said, it took me a while to think of anything too negative, cos I LOVE WDW

Agree completley,looks out of place

I can`t say I`ve been disappointed by anything at WDW - apart from some of the restaurants - for what they charge some of them need to improve alot!

We were also there a few days after Stitch's Great Escape opened and to this day cannot see what the fuss was all about. In fact we wish Disney would drop the Stitch theme on and around the Magic Kingdom altogether!

The first time we went to AK we were disappointed but when we went there again we realised that we didn't give it enough of a chance and now really like it there.

Star Tours is like any other simulator ride anywhere in the world - except that my son likes to look out for George Lucas.

In closing, the Great Movie Ride is fantastic as is the Carousel of Progress.

Animal Kingdom Lodge. This is a five star hotel and when we visited in October we were checked into a dirty room! We called the front dek and nobody called us so DH had to go down an report the probelm whilst DS (nearly 3) at the time and I sat on the floor in the room as we didn't want to touch anything in case they came to check. Not the service you expect from Disney.

Been said already but Stitch was rubbish and Space Mountain was such a let down after DLRP I didnt bother riding on my 2nd trip

i found the country bear show a tad dissapointing. The bears looked like they needed a good dusting down and it went on for too long.

Another vote for Stitch here, although I may have been more impressed, had I not first experienced AE.

The food at Prime Time Cafe was very disappointing, but the theming was excellent. Think we'll stick to desserts from now on.

Visiting DLRP after WDW. It just can't compare.

Biggest let downs for me have been, Space Mountain, the one at WDW is rubbish compared to the DLP version like the original poster said. Buzz Lightyear was also a big let down but I think we would of liked it better if we hadn't done Men In Black first , it is cute though. Another vote for Stitch as well, in fact we'll pretty much be giving Tomorrowland a miss on our next trip (although I want to have a ride on the TTA)

I'd have to say Fantasmic in MGM was my biggest letdown..
Took 3 trips to WDW to finally get it in and although it was good..
With all the hype I thought it would be better....
