Your biggest Disney disappointment / anti-climax?

We found that if you did all the shows in one day then you neglected other areas, they are spread out so that by the time one's finished, take into account the walk to the other show and it pretty much time for it to start. We missed the dolphins show because we were too tired to walk to the other side of the park after watching Shamu! Plus of course, there's the studying to be done at the beer school!!! :teacher: :drinking1 :dancer: :headache:

Our biggest disappointment was Beaches and Cream. Boy, the food there was absolutely disgusting! The service was lousy, the wraps had one slice of processed chicken, the cookies were burnt and the crisps soft. Oh.......the milkshake was pure sugar. Never ever again!
Maybe it was a bad day for them but it was bad enough to put me off for life. :( Boma was a huge let down too.

unfortunately for me i could not do this part- however as i turn 21 in March on my May visit i can be sure that will be my first "attraction" that i visit lol!!

I was dissapointed that Alien Encounter was closed down - I do think the TomorrowLand area could do with freshening up a bit.

Jonny mentioning the Tomorrowland area remins me of when we went in Oct last year. On the TTA, going through Space Mountain we had the pleasure of seeing it lit up with workers busying around.

Seemingly there had been a roof leak and the ride was closed for the day. It looked so different from any other coaster I have seen - presumably because it wasn't meant to be seen it was just a mess of girders with no style at all.

I saw a photo that showed something similar, looked very strange like you say.

Just found these pics on Mouseplanet. If you scroll down you'll see pics of the inside of Space Mountain.

Yes thats were I saw them, funny never been on the TTA.

Johnny, give the TTa a try, I'm sure Joshua will love it! its also nice and cool and relaxing seeing as you always go in august - and there's rarely a queue!

We will do, to be honest it's always looked a bit.....erm, boring? part of my earlier TomorrowLand needs updating bit - but yes, we will try it this August.

Usually we are in that area after doing FantasyLand, some of the rides we go on several times there, so we generally just sit down and have an ice cream at TL and let Josh have a rest so to speak.

I would be EXTREMELY disappointed if Carousel of Progress were to close down.

And TTA is one of my favorite rides too...you must ride it!

It actually is a bit boring!! :rotfl2: but nice and cool and relaxing, unless Josh has a problem with the rather steep moving stairway bit to get on you really should try it.

Ha Ha - thanks Carol, I think he would probably like the walkway actually.

My biggest disapointment was when River country closed down

it was our favorite water park

we went around it on water mice last year and it is just over grown and falling apart
so sad :guilty:

 had some great days there

Another vote for the TTA here Johhny - the breeze (and seat!) on a hot August day are great :thumbsup2

I always enjoy the different perspective you get of Tommorowland too, and a nice view of the castle :)

Can I have another go?

Swiss Family Robinson's treehouse. I can remember being at school nearly thirty years ago and one of my friends (who was the class rich kid) went to Disney somewhere. This was the one thing that he told me about that I really wanted to see. That and Spiderman action figures. When I eventually saw it five years ago it was about an inch thick in dust and grime, and the queue meant that we had to almost run round! It was more than compensated for by It's a Small World though. (How long does it take to get that tune out of your head?)

Another vote for TTA - come on Jonny give it a shot this August - in the summer heat it's a nice break.

My biggest disappointment is the Jungle Cruise - but not every time. It depends 100% on the captain and a couple of times the captain we've had hasn't been up to it (or even understandable). Other occassions the captain has had us rolling around laughing (and it's the same script :scratchin ) - such a disappointment when we get a poor captain.

I agree stitch isn't up to much but I had already got that feeling before going on it.
