Young Avengers Manor RP

OOC: I'm sure one of my characters can help the twins with math or something XD

OOC: yeah.

Thora: she looked up. "Eli? If you don't mind, could you help me with my math? I mean, if you have a minute."

OOC: yeah. Thora: she looked up. "Eli? If you don't mind, could you help me with my math? I mean, if you have a minute."

Eli: "Of course." He sat down next to her and explained some things for her.

Thora: she groaned. "This makes no sense." Half of her paper was covered with Asgardian symbols, as she hated writing in English.

Eli: "It's going to take time to learn, especially since you're new to high school. You're close to understanding it, so if you want we can pick up here tomorrow. I think you finished the paper. " He couldn't read most of it, since it was in Asguardian.

Thora: "Is it not due tomorrow? Why do my brother and I have to go to school? The only things harder than math are history and English." She frowned. "And science. That is particularly difficult." She looked down at her paper. "I have to erase what I wrote, right? Since it is written in Asgardian?"

Eli: "I guess your dad and SHIELD want you and Gordon to be educated. You probably should erase it to avoid any confrontations. "

Thora: "Why can't Jarvis just teach us?" She started erasing so hard the paper ripped. "Fantastic."

Eli: "I think their main problem is their long distance relationships. I miss Amber, but I think it's bothering them more. "

Hope: "That too."

OOC: yeah.

Hope: She was trying to translate the Asgardian runes but it was making her head begin to pound.

Hope: "You know we'll all help in any way we can."

She looked down at her paper. "I have to erase what I wrote, right? Since it is written in Asgardian?"

Hope: "I think for history it'll just be a matter of reading and memorizing. English....maybe act as though you're taking Asgardian? After all, it really is just another language, right? As for science....you happen to live in a manor with two scientific geniuses who are descended from even smarter scientific geniuses," she said, gesturing to Eli and herself.

Eli: "I guess your dad and SHIELD want you and Gordon to be educated. You probably should erase it to avoid any confrontations. "

Hope: "Or they might be wanting us to stay on the radar, not attract attention. Give it a short time and we'll be completely ordinary, completely background, people won't even notice we're here."

Thora: "Why can't Jarvis just teach us?" She started erasing so hard the paper ripped. "Fantastic."

Hope: "I don't question it too much, it's more effort than the answer is worth."

Thora: "It's different here. I know it will take time to get used to it, but I don't like being a-what do you call them? Oh, I don't like being a 'dumb blonde'. Especially since I live in a house full of geniuses."

Hope: She smiled. "I get what you mean. It's always a culture shock when Dad and I have to move again. But really, there's only three geniuses out of, like, thirteen of us. Of course, Starks do tend to get big heads sometimes - no offense, your dad's just Tony Stark, it happens - so there must seem like more than there are."

Thora: "I think you are all very very smart."

Hope: "There are all different kinds of smarts. It's true I'm smart at science and math, but you're probably way smarter than me when it comes to battle strategy and weapons."

Thora: "That's not anything valuable in a Highschool though."

Hope: "Maybe you're right," she said unconvinced, "but even so...we thought the camp was safe too."

Thora: she sighed. "I need a new copy of the homework." She looked up at Hope. "I'm sorry. I just-" she sighed. "Sorry. This is just new to me. I really do hope we're safe."

Hope: "No, I'm the most paranoid person in the world."
