Young Avengers Manor RP

OOC: Thanks for the save! :-)

OOC: No problem! Again, break a leg!

Evelyn: "It seems like a nice school. I'll miss my old school, but I'm a excited for this one."

Mike: "Me too. I'll miss East Brooklyn but this school seems to have promise."

Gordon: "Why do Th-Laura and I have to go to school?" He grumbled. "We're not going to know much at all."

Evelyn: "I guess because people will be suspicious if you don't."

Mike: "National law, everybody between 5 or 6 and 18 must be in school of some sort. If you don't go it'll be suspicious."

Raven: "Yes, and we have to stay under the radar. We're already suspicious because we don't look related and live in the same house." She knew she stuck out more than the others because of her dark skin.

Btwins: They nodded in agreement.

OOC: It came from when John Wilkes Booth (I might not have spelled that right) shot Abraham Lincoln, then jumped off the balcony and broke his leg on the stage.

OOC: I shouldn't find that funny, but I do.

OOC: I know I don't post here but actually the term break a leg is used in theaters because the contraptions that open and closes a curtain can be called a leg. After a play, for the curtain call, the actors would come out and then after a certain amount of time they would close the curtain. However what they used to do is if the audience continued to clap they would open it again and continue this opening a closing pattern for as long as the audience cheered. So you're wishing to someone that their performance is so good that the leg breaks from having to reopen the curtain so many times. This is what I've heard. :)

OOC: That does make a whole lot more sense, there are actually four legs in your average stage (at least if it's a proscenium arch)

Thora: "Jarvis could homeschool us. It would be much easier."
