Holy, 7 updates!!! But what a great way to kill my morning at work.

Ahhh, it's so great that POP and AoA are so close. It really is 2 resorts in one.

Strange, but the photo you mentioned you both "look really weird in" at Nemo, I really like. There's a real BFF feeling to it. It's actually quite lovely.

You know with all the FP+ stuff, one of the things I'm going to miss A LOT is the ability to take a photo of the paper FP. It just seems necessary.

OK... Everest ride photo. That kid. There are no words, but clearly his life was just made whole right at that moment.

Bahaha, I totally got a flashback to #StruckInDisney and the "Wait.. ress" at Via Napoli. I figured no chance that would happen again. Oy.

Yes, I too love interacting with the CM's around the World.

OMG, I know this is a Disney board and Disney TR, but YES I will also never forget the emotion of the best concert I ever attended with Sir Paul and tens of thousands of friends all coming together as one under the night sky.

And in case you don't get to update again since your trip is SO CLOSE, have yourself an amazing time, give Jack a BIG hug, have an mind blowing talk with Mickey, and just savour every moment even though I know you will. I hope you, Gina, and Jess have the BEST TRIP EVER!!!

I have to say that getting stuck on Maelstrom really would have freaked me out! I'm pretty claustrophobic and dread getting stuck on any ride!

Day 10, Part 1 In Which I MAKE MY TRIUMPHANT RETURN TO THE MANIA!​

This morning we all got up early to make it to Hollywood in time for opening.

It was IMPERATIVE because I had not even been on Toy Story Mania yet this trip.

I know, I know. IT'S INSANITY. But I wanted this trip to be different and I spent sooo much time on my past couple of trips getting up and going to Hollywood for TSM. So I changed it up this time and boy was I missing the Mania.

I was super tired and didn't even bother trying to make myself look good at all. I just threw on the nearest clothes I could find and threw my hair up and out the door I went! Day 10: When you start to get so tired you no longer give any hoots. Nor do you remember your name.

We went to the parking lot to get Brooke and saw this car.

I just love anyone who is so in love with something that they feel the need to express it in a way that most people don't. CREATIVITY IS MY FAVE, YO.

We drove to Hollywood in Brooke and parked in the Stage parking lot.

We actually made it on time but of course they opened the park early like they usually do cause of the TSM rush. Annoying. I mean, if you want to open earlier then fine. Open at 3am, it would be awesome, just TELL ME THE EXACT TIME SO I CAN DASH MADLY TO TSM IN A TIMELY MANNER!!

MY HOUSE <3

We hurried along to Toy Story Mania to grab our Fastpasses.

It was nice to be doing this with people. Usually no one wants to wake up with me and so I'm solo for my mad dashing. Jess and I are both beyond obsessed with TSM so it felt like we were fulfilling some destiny finally doing this together.

After getting some sweet FPs, we hopped in the Standby line.

The wait was posted at 45 minutes but I didn't care. I just wanted to ride no matter what the wait! It ended up being about 30 minutes. 100% worth the wait.

We noticed this new information etch-a-sketch in the queue!

Jess and I were all like OMG OMG OMG THIS IS NEW even though it was just information we were already very aware of, lol. We are just obsessed.

This drawing Andy did of Woody and Buzz is probably one of my favorite things in all of Disney. I take a picture of it every trip. So naturally, it had to be Instagrammed.

We decided this time I would ride with Gina and then when we came back with our FPs I would ride with Jess. There is enough of me to go around, ladies!

Jess is wearing the awesome Belle tank top she bought at Tren-D the night before. Not that you can see it that well but I'm sure in one of the pictures you will have a better view!

I WAS EXCITED.

Oh YEAH got our glasses YEAH!!!

If I was a celebrity I think I would start wearing 3D glasses even when no 3D was present. Like as a fashion statement. Lady Gaga, WHERE are you?! I have some ideas here!!!!!!

This queue just never stops being the most fun thing EVER. Well, besides the ride.

Obviously, I demolished Gina on this ride. That was just no question being that I rule at this and it was her first time. Of course she loved the ride though, how could anyone not?! It is one of the best things ever created. If Tower of Terror wasn't my house/the most flawless thing ever, it would be my favorite ride.

Yeah... I am not exactly proud of my score. It's pretty sad. Not a personal best. But hey, I was rusty!!!​

Day 10, Part 2 In Which Vanellope is Jealous​

All that shootin' made us hungry so we went to Starring Rolls! Gina had heard so much about this place from me so she was eager to try their famous cupcakes.

I got my favorite, the cupcake to end all cupcakes, THE RED VELVET CHEESECAKE CUPCAKE!

Always perfect. I've had this 4 or 5 times now and it's definitely one of my favorite cupcakes ever to exist.

Jess went with a cherry turnover.

And Gina got the Butterfinger Cupcake.

Unfortunately after trying my cupcake she regretted this move. She liked hers but thought mine was better. Well duh, nothing in the world is better than that cupcake! For real. I personally love the Butterfinger Cupcake, but I agree that it can not compare to the Red Velvet.

I got up to go to the restroom. It ended up taking 5ever because not only did I get distracted by Donald looking so awesome...

But I had to walk further than I thought to the bathroom and then there was a line. I was gone for like 15 minutes! I felt bad but oh well.

On the way back I got distracted again because Minnie was in her adorable pink dress.

I got back and we discussed where we'd have lunch later before Jess had to leave for work. Since Hollywood doesn't have the best CS options, we decided we'd try and get into 50's Prime Time. I couldn't find a good ADR time so we just planned on doing a walk-up later on.

Jess was really dying to meet Wreck-It Ralph. I'm sure if you follow her reports you know why it was very important that she specifically meet this guy today!

However, once we got to the Animation Building the line was ridiculously long. Hey... Ralph's a popular dude. There was no way we wanted to wait in it and I really wanted to do another Animation class so we headed upstairs to do that first.

I love these classes so much.

What kind of utter masterpiece did I create this time?

Applause, applause, applause. Yeah I rocked it again. Stop calling me Disney, I can't come be an animator for you! I have a life! Ugh.

As everyone got up to leave I was still doing some shading. As a world class animator, I know how to get those fine details in under the wire.

I still can't believe I drew that and that this class somehow gives me artistic talent. It's like there's a magic atmosphere in there that injects it into me for 30 minutes.

The Animation store is one of my favorites. I always want EVERYTHING, like even more than usual.

Ralph's line was still SO long by the time we got out, so we decided to go get Tower of Terror FPs. I have not needed a Fastpass for this ride in ages, but that's May crowds for ya.

I love that Hollywood is so small (for a Disney park) that you can just run and get FPs and run back and it's no big deal.

*Sigh* This perfection.

Then we went back to Animation and the line was still a mess. Normally, I would have never waited in a line like this. However, this was a special circumstance and it was very important to Jess so we got in line.

I can't even remember the last time I waited that long for anything in Disney! I was like, oh my God, this is how people who come in the summer have to do things! Yikes. Jess kept apologizing but I told her it was fine because if I didn't want to be there, I wouldn't be! I wanted to meet Ralph too. Of course I could have done without the line, but that's the way of things. I wasn't complaining being that I was in Disney with my friends about to meet Wreck-It Ralph and Vanellope!!! Omg.

We were worried his set was going to be over before we even got to the front of the line, it was so stressful. I was like, omg, if we waited all this time and he leaves... I will die. Luckily we got in RIGHT under the wire and met this very special Ralph!!!!!!!

Jess went first alone because Ralph and her are so close. After some hugs...

Of course Jess had to get a character selfie with him. Duh.

Ralph's face just kills me every time. It's so... well, it's so animated!

Jess was like on the verge of tears the whole time! It was SO sweet.

Vanellope was annoyed with her because she was giving Ralph so much attention. She is so hilarious, we were all cracking up watching it. She must be one of the best characters to be friends with because her personality is so childlike and fun.

Then we came in for some group lovin'!

It was great. Ralph is definitely one of the best new characters Disney has created and I love the film so insanely much. I was happy I finally got to meet him and my girl Vanellope! THEY JUST MAKE MY HEART FILL WITH JOY OKAY.

When we left, Jess was so happy and sad at the same time. I felt so bad for her with a lot of her friends CPs coming to an end, especially Mark. She was devastated over him leaving and it made her so sad during our trip. Le sigh. Sing it with me everyone... CH-CH-CH-CHANGES! Come and face the strange ch-ch-changes..... Bowie knew what he was talking about. We all go through it.

What better way to ease the pain of life than with THE TOWER OF TERROR?!?!

Hey, things may get murky, but as long as you aren't plunging to your death where you will spend an eternity stuck in an old hotel as a ghost, how bad can life really be?

Seriously guys, perspective.

Day 10, Part 3 In Which We Go Back In Time To Color Surfboards​

I love every detail of my tower, outside and inside!

I love this next photo, even though it's blurry. The blurriness makes it look like the owl has come back to life and is flying at you. YAY, HAUNTED THINGS!

If I remember correctly, this Directory used to say something like "Evil tower u r doomed"... right? They had that hidden somewhere.

We dropped into the abyss together once again and IT WAS FANTASTIC!

I love this ride photo. Gina looks like she is just sitting nicely, Jess is having a hoot of a time, and I am the freak. Which is what I enjoy being. hahahaha And the little girl in the front row looks like something has gone disastrously wrong in her life. LMAO.

Once outside, I looked in the display windows. They change semi-often and I loved that they had a jack o'lantern in the window even though it wasn't near Halloween!

The last event held at the Tower WAS on Halloween 1939, though, so I guess they are eternally stuck on that day. I gotta say, if you're gonna stick on one day, that's not a bad one.

After that we went to Toy Story Mania to use those Fastpasses. OH YEAH.

This time I rode with Jess and it was SO FUN! We are both completely and totally OBSESSED with this ride so to get to play together was amazing!! She beat me but LBR if I lived in Florida too I would totally cream her. AND THE WHOLE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!

It was around lunch time so we headed to Echo Lake where we met this guy:

It was time to try our luck at The 50's Prime Time Cafe!

I love this place!

We got to the podium and I told them we didn't have an ADR. They said for three people the wait would be "45 minutes or less." I didn't want to wait so long for something again but we were all hungry and I was sooo tired, so I was just like whatever.

So we go sit down in the living room area and sink into the couch, all ready for a good long wait.

I loved these flowers, they reminded me of the fall.

NOT EVEN 5 minutes later they called us!! I guess they really meant it when they said 45 minutes OR LESS. I'm sooo glad we didn't decide to go elsewhere!

We sat in this little room I had never even seen before on the side of the restaurant. It only holds like 4 tables so it's nice and intimate. The TVs aren't at your table either, they're hanging from the ceiling.

I really liked it! Funny how I've been in there so many times since childhood but never even knew about that room.

We wanted kid's menus because they have the cool paper ones that you can color and stuff. So when I got up to go to the bathroom, I stopped by the front and got us some. Then when I got back to the table, Jess and Gina showed me that they had already asked the server and he brought them. So now we had DOUBLE COLORING MATERIALS which is perfect because we LOVE COLORING!!! What fun.

Surfboard coloring is awesome.

I wanted the fried chicken, as I've had it before and it's DELICIOUS. It comes with mashed potatoes that are SO good and a vegetable of your choice. However, like at most Disney restaurants, they give you SO much of it that I knew some would go to waste if I got my own. I asked Jess if she wanted to share it with me and she said yes. So we decided to split that!

It was kind of an awkward meal to split because chicken on the bone is not easy to cut in half. It was frumpy, but I'm glad we did it because I don't think either of us would have been able to finish a whole one ourselves.

Gina chose the vegetarian lasagna which was another winner for her.

When it was time for dessert, our server brought us the VIEWFINDER!! Omg. I've never gotten this before and I was so excited! It was so fun to look through. What a creative idea.

There are pictures of each dessert in the viewfinder and you can flip through them and decide on what you want that way instead of just looking at a menu. It's genius!

Gina was all excited that they have Rice Dream milkshakes here because she is lactose intolerant. So she got a vanilla one and put some brownie chunks inside it (from WPE the night before) to add some extra flavor!

Jess and I split Dad's Brownie Sundae. I am still dying to try the Smores here but I was in the mood for this and so was Jess!

It was great of course but we wished there was more ice cream and less whipped cream. Oh well!

I have to mention our waiter, Gary from Hawaii, was superb. Probably my favorite server of the whole trip. He was just so kind and attentive! He really reminded me of an old fashioned 50's gentleman, so he is perfect for this place. He didn't do the whole "elbows off the table, eat all your vegetables" act overkill either, it was just enough and it seemed genuine. He was just adorable! I hope he is my server the next time I eat at 50's!

Overall, it was another great experience at The 50's Prime Time Cafe. I have been many times in the past and I will continue to return!​

Day 10, Part 4 In Which ROOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!​

Jess didn't have much time left before she needed to leave for work, so we decided to try and get one more thing in. We went over to Star Tours, but unfortunately the wait was posted at 30 minutes and she didn't want to risk it, so we had to say TTFN to her.

Gina and I decided to just get in line because I figured the wait wouldn't actually be 30 minutes, and even if it was, Gina wanted to do every thrill ride so it would be worth it.

Luckily I was right about the wait, it ended up being more like 15. Yay!

Um....

I'm so cute.

After scaring people with my various faces and warring with the stars, it was time to see different kinds of stars on The Great Movie Ride!

Alright, so next a MONUMENTAL OCCASION occurred.

For 11 years I have loved finding Hidden Mickeys, and for 11 years I have been searching for the Hidden Minnie in the mural in the loading area of The Great Movie Ride.

I finally. FOUND IT.

FINALLY.

This is something I have literally searched that mural for every single time I have been on this ride for 11 years! I just never had enough time to find it. It's hidden pretty well, but I mean, once you see it... it just jumps right out at you!

I WAS SO EXCITED! I pointed it out to Gina too and she thought it was so cool.

Try and find her the next time you're there if you've never seen her! She is above one of the rooftops, on the right side and she is looking to the left. It is a black silhouette of Minnie! ONE OF MY FAVORITE HIDDEN CHARACTERS EVER! Amazing.

Okay so then something else really interesting and cool happened.

We got the gangster scene, and the gangster was played by a woman, which was really surprising!

On one hand I was all like YEAHHH A LADY GANGSTA! But it wasn't exactly... accurate. Trust me, I'm all for casting people who you wouldn't normally expect to see in a certain role. But that just didn't happen in these 40's movies or in real life. There's a reason James Cagney played these roles and not Jean Harlow (though I kinda wish she did). It's progressive of Disney to cast a woman in the role and omg, I WOULD LOVE TO PLAY A GANGSTER, but idk, it seemed really weird just cause there were no women gangsters back then. I guess my opinion is conflicted here because this is supposed to be literally a 40's gangster picture come to life and it just... would never be a woman.

The other thing I have to mention is that she wasn't particularly good. Now, if she had knocked my socks off talent-wise I probably would have been so into it. However, she had a spanish accent and could not quite drop it. So part of the time you'd hear the gangster "youse guys" accent and then in the next breath she would sound like herself. I mean, I applaud Disney for being 100% equal opportunity but it just did not make sense with the storyline. I really hope I don't come off the wrong way... but is that not weird? The whole thing was a bit off but at least I had a new experience after seeing the gangster scene 400 times.

Our journey through the movies over, we went back down Sunset to get Rock N Rollercoaster fastpasses.

We saw the tattoo kiosk and decided we needed to get tattoos. I think it was another thing I had always wanted to do but never did. We've gotten temporary tattoos before in Seaside, NJ so it only seemed appropriate!

WE ARE HARDCORE TATTOO BFFs. hXc!!!!!!!!

A showtime for Beauty & the Beast was nearing, but we needed fries first. We require fries. So we went over to Rosie's and then rushed into the theatre at the last minute. We still found some pretty good seats though.

And then Beyond Hilarious Event #1 happened.

So I'm watching the show the same way I have MANY times since 1995. Seriously, I've seen this at LEAST 5-10 times.

And yet I never noticed the UTTER HILARITY of the Beast in this show. Oh my freaking God.

I don't know if it's because at this point I was just absurdly tired or what, but I had not laughed that hard in AGES.

So when the Beast comes out, he roars. But they didn't imput the sound of him roaring from the movie, which just sounds like an animal roaring and isn't funny at all.

In the show, what they have is a man yelling "ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!" and "AAAAARRRRRR!!!"

Over and over. It's just a guy saying "ROAR" and dragging it out while putting on a gravely voice. I can't believe I never noticed how funny that was before, but that's not all.

The other thing is that the Beast is quite large and I imagine it's not easy for him to move. So his movements are really awkward. In fact he just FLAILS around. Like during the battle scene, all he does is flail his arms and body around to fight back. While the soundtrack of the man yelling ROAR plays over the dramatic music.

It is. The funniest thing. In the world. AND I CAN'T HANDLE IT.

Gina and I were in hysterics. I especially could not stop laughing SO HARD, and it bled into the quiet nice part where Belle is begging him not to die and saying I love you. I was laughing so hard but trying to restrain myself as not to ruin the experience for anyone else. But I could not help it. I was laughing so hard I was crying and people kept turning around to look at me.

Gina was like, "Lia! They think you're crying!" And that made me laugh even harder.

PEOPLE THOUGHT I WAS SO MOVED BY THE BEAUTIFUL ENDING THAT I WAS SOBBING.

BUT I WAS LAUGHING SO HARD AT THE BEAST YELLING ROARRRRRR AND FLAILING. OH MY GOD IT WAS THE FUNNIEST THING. I can't even tell you.

I don't know if this is translating but it seriously was one of the funniest moments of my life and it was only one of three that day.

We laughed and laughed and laughed and laughed. AND LAUGHED.

Okay... I'm gonna have to cut it off here folks.

It is now 3am on October 29 which means I am officially leaving for Disney TOMORROW. In fact 24 hours from now I will be waking up to go to the airport because I am crazy and insist on taking the earliest flight possible.

I CAN'T BELIEVE I'm going to Disney World so soon. It doesn't feel real AT ALL. Literally, I'm not even as excited as I feel I should be because it hasn't really registered in my head that I am going. I'm just... in disbelief. I don't know how this keeps happening. I don't know how I keep getting SO LUCKY. But I do.

Of course I have a lot to do today. I worked tirelessly on my costume tonight to finish it up and I think I'm finally done. I CAN NOT WAIT TO WEAR THIS AT MNSSHP. Oh my GOD it is going to be such a blast. Jess and I are just freaking out. We can barely talk to each other now, it's just messages of "OH MY GOD OH MY GODKADJFHALDJFHLAKJFD" back and forth. WE ARE GONNA HAVE THE BEST TIME!!!!!!!!!

I still don't believe it!!

So yeah, this is the end of the updates til I get back. I couldn't finish, but having 9 and a half days done is pretty awesome if I do say so myself! I CAN'T WAIT to share the rest of this trip and the new trip with all of you! Thanks so much for following along! You guys make Disney even more magical because when I get home I get to relive it with all of you and that is SO special and fun!

The pictures with Ralph and Vanellope are pure perfection! My husband and I hadn't seen the movie before our trip in April so we didn't get pictures with them. I hope that they are meet and greet characters for a long time because I really really want to meet them now!

Oh, and Lia, I believe the directory at your house has letters that have fallen off and into the bottom of the directory case. Those fallen letters do spell out an ominous warning, but I cannot recall the exact wordage.

Until I started reading TRs, I also paid very little attention to the food in Disney! I mean really I was there for rides, shows, characters, not to eat!! Lol. THANK YOU for opening my eyes to all this fabulousness!!!!!

I don't really "get" twitter. I have an account and mainly follow celebrities, athletes, and fitness sites. But I did add you back when I was reading your Stuck in Disney report.

I'm in the midst of my happy Disney morning today reading trip reports and I have Disney music playing on Pandora. My brother wanted me to look at something on twitter, so I hopped over there. Your "pumpkin king" tweet was at the top of the page, and Pandora had just started playing "Jack's Lament". I thought it was appropriate and thought I'd share

HI EVERYONE!!

I'm home!

Oh my God, this was one of the absolute best trips I have EVER had. Seriously, it was worlds better than the last one. I am not even that sad to be home because I am just so content with the trip. It was as close to perfect as a Disney trip can get. Even when things went wrong, it was totally fine because I am just so happy and the whole vibe of the trip was wonderful. We were on such a high the whole time and it was a truly fantastic experience. I just feel SO ABSURDLY lucky right now. I am so thankful and happy. Disney is the best and I am so happy I have a place I can go where I can feel like this. It's unbelievable how it just keeps getting better and better. Every time I find more reasons to love it, more things to discover. There is always more fun to be had. Walt really had the right idea when he said curiosity takes us to new places. The more Disney I take in, the more curious I get, the more I want to take in. This place is pure magic. Naysayers can go on forever about the long lines, the prices, the heat, whatever they want to say, really. All I know is Jess and I were literally walking down Main Street yesterday HOLDING EACH OTHER AND CRYING. It's so magical and only got EVEN MORE emotional when MICKEY TALKED TO US. Oh my God. OH MY GOD!!!!! IT WAS THE BEST!!

I am so happy that since I was a child I have had this perfect and magical thing to hold onto that has never faded. It only gets stronger as life goes on. It only means more.

Usually Disney trips fly by. This one did not. Jess and I both felt like I was there for a like a month. Magically time slowed down and I was able to savor every minute being in Disney. It was just absolutely fantastic. I really feel like I got a true vacation from everything in my normal life. I feel like I got sucked into another world. I really do. I am just so happy. It was perfect.

Halloween especially, OH MY GOD. Jess and I just cannot stop talking about it. It was outrageously good. We had the best time. I don't even know how to explain it. Every single thing went perfectly and then some. When I planned out the night, I left plenty of room for error and we ended up being like an hour ahead of schedule and got to do SO MUCH! I am SO HAPPY. I went as a Haunted Mansion Ballroom Dancer. I posted a TON of pictures on Instagram. If you have not seen them, my username is capriamoon. Or if you want to use a computer to access it, that's http://www.instagram.com/capriamoon You'll have to scroll a bit since the Halloween party was at the beginning of the trip. I am still actively posting photos from the trip even though I am home because I was behind on it the whole time. You just don't want to stare at your phone posting pictures when you're in Disney, you know? I got a lot done while in line for things and on the bus, but I mean, even at those times you want to be present in the moment. So the picture posting will go on a bit.

In addition to the things I mentioned above... we saw Hanson and now Jess is in love with them, Dale fell in love with, proposed to, and married me within a span of two minutes, I danced with Prince Philip, Eugene and Rapunzel had the same friends as last year's Halloween party which was INSANELY magical, I did the animation class like 5 times and am obsessed, we ate at Sci Fi, Garden Grill, and California Grill in addition to a ton of CS places, I ate a cupcake every single day, we did Be Our Guest twice because it just that good and the line doesn't get that long anymore, Gina came and we saw Bob Jackson, Christmas decorations went up at the end of the trip so I got to experience both holidays, Jack Skellington took my hand and taught me scaring tips after eating spiders off of my dress... I COULD GO ON AND ON.

It was unreal. I LOVE DISNEY!!!!!!!!!!!

To top it all off, my next trip is in the works. If all goes to plan (and I really think it will), I will be back in the midst of the magic very soon. So hold onto your hats people!!!!!!!!!​
