OMG yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's all coming back now...and Leslie was one of the Brooks sisters...

One of my 1st memories of Y&R was Victor watching Nikki stripping at a club...and remember Paul & Andy were friends....then Jack was supopsed to be marrying - hmmm - I think Andy's sister Patty (or was it Paul's sister) and he was out the night before with another woman, and was falling down drunk. I remember Ashely & Tracey (the current actresses too!) putting Jack (Terry Lester) in the shower to sober him up for his wedding! Anyone else remember that?

Does anyone on here watch TB&TB after Y&R.....if so, the dress Heather had on today on Y&R was the exact same dress Brooke had on TB&TB last Thur when she was at the podcast announcement of Rick becoming President of Forrester Creations.....

Patty is Paul's sister. I LOVED Terry Lester as Jack-he died a few years ago. I liked Andy (who is President Ford's son). I remember Greg going up on stage to cover up Nikki while she was stripping. And I loved Katherine and Cash, the male stripper!

I can see Nikki being more distraught than Jill. They have a much more positive, and long, history.

I remember Y&R used to be the Brooks, Fosters and Prentiss families. What happened to all of them LOL! I used to love the loft type apartment that Lorie lived in with the spiral staircase. Then there was that guy with the beard...I think it was Lance's brother. What was his name???

I remember when Nikki joined that New World cult thing.

I remember way back in the day that I think Nikki gave Paul a STD, it was VD back then though.

I would come home after half day kindergarten and watch it with my DM.

Eric Forrester was Lance Prentiss and his brother's name was Lucas. If I remember correctly, Lance was married to Lori, but Leslie Brooks was in love with him. I believe Lucas was in love with Lori as well. (they were sort of the Ashley/Tracey sisters where Lori was the beautiful one and Lelslie was the shy, unsure of herself type, but she was an accomplished pianist.
I first started watching this show a long time ago with my grandmother. I remember the tracheotomy story as well. Also, Katherine "haunting" the mansion when Jill thought she was dead. Jill did Katherine's hair and nails. And Jill's mother was Katherine's maid.
I would love to see some more of the flashbacks with all the characters they have showing up at the funeral. They would be great fun to watch.

Lucas!! Thats right! He lived in like a boathouse type thing right? I remember watching this with my mom when I was little. I remember the original Jill she used to wear the red shiny lipstick LOL!

PP is right...brock & jill are half siblings. kay gave jill up for adoption at birth (she was adopted by the fosters and at one point, jill's mom worked for kay-jill did too, when she got older). jill has always hated katherine because she thinks kay killed phillip (chancellor, kay's husband jill's lover). even now as mother & son, kay & jill have a contentious relationship. brock is kay's son by a former husband (mackenzie is brock's daughter), and as far back as i remember, he has always called her duchess. jill's son phillip (chancellor the 2nd) was killed in a alcohol-induced car accident years ago. he was married to nina (it was NOT a happy marriage-he was in love with cricket but nina managed to seduce him and get pregnant). nina is mother to phillip chancellor the 3rd, who hasn't been seen on Y&R since he was a toddler-i'm sure he'll come back full of angst at some point. billy is jill's son by john abbott-he married mackenzie but jill found out on their wedding night that katherine is her mother and she put a stop to the honeymoon, so the marriage was annulled. mackenzie had a relationship with JT and after losing their baby (JT didn't know she was pregnant and was devastated), her character was written off the show. david hasselhoff did, indeed, play snapper foster and as i recall, kay adored him like a son-it was mutual, he loved her too.

He came back, divorce papers in hand, ready to marry Jill. Katherine surprised him and picked him up at the airport, but she'd been drinking. They got into an argument.....more of a "Please don't leave me" thing....and when Phillip refused to stay with Ketherine, she basically said, "If I can't have you, no one can" and purposely drove that car off the road. I think she intended to kill both herself and Phillip.

Phillip survived for a while....long enough to marry Jill on his deathbed, but Katherine had the marriage declared illegal, I think based on the divorce from her being invalid. This made Jill's son illegitimate and back then, that mattered. Jill hated her for that, because her son became Phillip Foster, not Phillip Chancellor III. (Don't ask me why she didn't just name him that anyway.....Katherine probably threatened legal action.)

Anyway, KC smooth killed her darling Phillip.

I think Lily is just so pretty. When Neil & Karen told her about their engagement, she just looked stunning.

Didn't Victor use those same lines on Sabrina about "bringing him back to life"?

Hi! I watched Y&R from the early-mid 80's until around 6 or so years ago. The 1st storyline I remember was when Jack was shot by Patti (I think I have that right) and Nikki was married to Kevin Bancroft (I think it was Kevin) and the big question was "Is Victoria Victor's child?". I LOVED Traci and Lauren talking today-I felt like my teen years were flashing before my eyes. And then at the end of that scene when the camera panned to Danny, it felt perfect, since he was the main reason why those two hated each other anyway! I tuned in this week to see all the older characters that I grew up with and loved. It was so great to see Nina, too!

Life is crazy, and I can't keep up with it like I used to be able to. But it felt like old home week this week-thanks Y&R!

I don't remember Jill finding out so long ago (when Billy and Mackenzie got married) that Catherine is her mother. I thought she just found out fairly recently.
Billy and Mac were married before that, I thought. I just can't remember how they found out they were related....

jill just found out about 1-2 years ago that Katherine is her mother. she found out RIGHT after billy & mac's wedding ceremony, and she had to rush to their hotel to stop their honeymoon.

Amber's mother (who will be portrayed by the same actress who played her mother on B&B) will be heading to GC with Amber's twin(Amber has a twin?)with the purpose of getting their hands on Amber's money.

The show is also casting a friend of Chloe's.

Brad and Phyllis join forces to break up Jack and Sharon's marriage so that Brad can have her and keep her away from Nick.

Nick realizes what Phyllis has been hiding

Katherine may be returning sooner than expected and there will be consequences for many characters because of the way they behaved when they thought she was "dead" particularly Jill.

There is a RUMOR that Y&R is planning to bring back Drucilla. But the show is not interested in having Victoria Rowell reprise the role and they are looking for another actress to be cast in the role.
