no i was out and it wasn't on so i'll see it at 4.30 - so then he was recasted again.

gees crappy storylines and now they can't keep actors lol

Okay, I've missed something somewhere....we now have another actor playing Adam? As in Adam #3?

No, its the same recast. Sorry, I just think that no one can top Chris Engen as Adam

Oh, I agree. But in a way I like this new Adam in this particular storyline. It seems to make it easier to really dislike the character.

The final decision is he's going to work on his marriage with Phyllis. He made the decision to stay with Phyllis "now he has to stick to it." Nick and Sharon share a bittersweet goodbye. Morrow maintains that Nick is not indecisive (but does call him a waffler), "he knows he wants to be with Sharon, but that's not going to happen." He thinks she wants to be with Jack, her baby's daddy. He has to accept it. Mary Jane plants Victor's wallet in Sharon's purse. Nick rushes to protect Sharon and Victor/Sharon have to remind him - work on your family. Morrow says "Nick can't stay away from Sharon...she is in his blood and always will be." Case says the storyline will take another surprising turn. She gushes about the storyline.

OHHHHHHHHHh PALEEEEEZE :crazy::faint: So what is he going to do when he finds out that the baby is his :confused3:confused3:confused3 Jump back to Sharon again:eek:. Why is he doing this to these 2 woman. And why is Sharon doing this to poor Jack(and I use poor lightly)? He should just stay with Sharon and leave it at that.

Also Phyllis will never rest easy knowing that he still loves Sharon and at any time at the drop of a hat, decide to sleep with her again or leave her for Sharon again. He cant love Sharon as much as he says he does to leave her again that easy. I still think he is in love with what they had, not what they have.

So does anyone think that Cane will be forgiven and Lilly goes back to him? or will Lilly fall for Nina's son? Stranger things have happened!

As for watching all of the show. It came on soapnet at 7PM here. and also at like 1pm when ATWT was suppose to be on. Did not realize it till it was to late. ATWT should have been good today also. So I'm off to watch the other half after Phyllis hit Heather. You go girl!

Heather sure has it out for anyone attached to the name Newman. Even if her cases are bogus with them she still cant resist trying to find a loophole. The really need to have a new *** DA. She is so horrible that it is funny to watch her. All her cases are so rediculous.

Dont count on Nick finding out the truth anytime soon. Jack will know Sharon's secret, but knowing Jack, he will agree to keep her secret and raise the child himself. It has been said that Mary Jane and Adam team up. So that means Sharon's baby will be stolen and given to a deranged Ashley

 I think you are right on about the baby theft. UGH. I have had enough of the Ashley storyline. I do enjoy MJ being a total nut job.

i hate the adam storyline - it's too over the top and just plain rediculious

when you guys see the show tomorrow - tell me if i'm seeing things.

vicki looks pg in the dress she's wearing in the hospital while she's talking to niki and victor. am i seeing things???

She is pregnant!! It was mentioned a few posts back! :thumbsup2

ah ha - so i'm not crazy

ok well maybe a little but at least not seeing things LOL

•Victor wants Psycho Jane to leave Genoa City once and for all but Psycho Jane has other plans. Psycho Jane finds Jack and tells him she's in love w/ him
•Ashley still believing she is pregnant tells Recast aka Victor Jr that she hasn't felt her baby kick in a while, she wants to have an ultrasound done
•Amber and Daniel search the office of the guy whose been after them, Amber finds a clue that makes her have suspicions about who it is
•Jack just can't get the hint that Sharon doesn't want to be involved with him, he says if they are meant to be together they will be!
•Victoria meets the guy whose been after Daniel and Jana, it is Deacon Sharpe!
Next - A shocked Amber comes face to face w/ Deacon; Victor Jr wants to team up w/ Mary Jane; Phyllis, Nick and Nikki search Psycho Jane's room and find a picture of Summer

As Summer recovers from her coma after being poisoned with peanuts (thanks, Patty Jane!), Nick wants to be there for his daughter. Phyllis, however, is afraid that their daughter will be confused if Nick comes back only to leave them again. As a result, Nick makes a crucial decision: He's leaving Sharon to work on his marriage with Phyllis.

"He's saying to Phyllis that he wants to rebuild this great thing that he's got with her and Summer," explains Joshua Morrow. "He's made his decision to be with Phyllis and now he has to stick to it. He can't keep waffling between these two women. It's just not right."

Of course, Nick has no clue that Sharon was fibbing when she told him that Jack is the father of her baby. So, Nick and Sharon bid a bittersweet farewell as he explains his decision to her. "It's not that he's being indecisive," insists Morrow. "He knows he wants to be with Sharon, but that's not going to happen. She wants to be with Jack because she's having his baby. That's a very hard thing for Nick to accept, but he has to."

Later, Nick rushes to Sharon's rescue once again when Victor's wallet is found in her room at the GCAC. (Mary Jane planted it.) However, when Nick turns up at the police station in defense of Sharon, both his father and Sharon remind him that he's supposed to be focusing on his marriage. "She pushes Nick away for his own good so he can just carry on his life with Phyllis and Summer," says Case.

"As always, Nick can't stay away from Sharon," sighs Morrow. "Even when everything is telling him that they can't be together. Sharon is in his blood and she always will be -- no matter how much she pushes him away."

Says Case, "This storyline always takes another surprising turn. What I love is that every twist is plausible. It doesn't defy logic and it's not out of character."

Last week on Y&R, Phillip stunned Nina with the news that he is gay. "It was one of those drop a bomb and then walk out of the room scenes," chuckles his portrayer, Thom Bierdz. "So Phillip just left after he told Nina he was gay and always has been gay."

But now Phillip isn't quite so ready to tell his mother and Katherine. "He is still afraid they will reject him," Bierdz sums up. "He believes this to his core and this is the reason he faked his death years ago. Sometimes gay people, like myself, feel the world would not understand their homosexuality and become very self-contained and detached."

On the day Katherine leaves the hospital, Phillip's family continues to bicker over what Phillip's reason was for faking his death. Through it all, Nina remains quiet -- that is, until Billy makes a rude comment about his brother. Nina immediately springs to defend Phillip without mentioning the real reason for his actions, but Jill immediately senses that her daughter-in-law knows more than she's letting on.

Later, Nina runs into Phillip at the Chancellor Estate and pressures him to tell the truth to Kay and Jill. "Nina is supportive and wants to make it happen," notes Bierdz. "Phillip is stronger than he was before, but still broken, longing to belong and regretful that he has hurt anyone."

When Kay returns home, Phillip finally reveals the truth to her and Jill about why he left Genoa City all those years ago. "His mother seems fine with his homosexuality, but she's still furious he didn't tell them 20 years ago," says Bierdz. "Kay is also fine with his homosexuality, but she is the unforgiving one as far as Phillip staging his death. These scenes are going to be really great to watch because Jeanne Cooper's real love for me, in her eyes, contradicts Kay's harsh words."

Loads of pain and anger over the last two decades are unleashed ("Both women obviously loved and missed Phillip"), with Jill and Kay blaming each other for driving Phillip to fake his death and leave town. When Phillip tells them that he would do the same thing all over again because neither of them really know him, Kay harshly blasts him by saying that he robbed them of the chance.

Just then, Cane arrives to bid farewell because he's leaving Genoa City, but before Kay and Jill can react....

"A 'Chance' Reunion"

Phillip's return from the grave has certainly rocked Genoa City to its core, but his presence as well as the drama leading up to his comeback has been intentionally kept from his son, Phillip IV, who's been serving in Iraq.

"One of the great things his mom did was not tell him what was going on with his dad so that he could keep his mind focused on his tour of duty instead of getting distracted," explains John Driscoll (ex-Coop, GL), who is now playing Phillip IV (now known as Chance, which is short for Chancellor). "So he doesn't know anything about his dad being alive."

Chance has alot of childhood memory of the Chancellor Mansion and makes it his first stop when his troop is pulled out of Iraq. "It's a huge relief to be back on familiar ground. He walks in wearing his fatigues and there are quite a few people in the room, but he zeroes right in on his mom. She's so excited to see him. She comes running to him and jumps in his arms."

It doesn't take long before everyone realizes that an awkward situation has presented itself since Chance doesn't know that his dad is alive. "Nina has a lot to tell him, but that's all put aside so she can just focus on her son because he's home safe," reasons Driscoll, who explains that his character won't be too thrilled with the actions of his father. "Chance has been in the service and putting other's needs before his own, so I don't think he is going to be looking favorably upon his father. He's really going to have to earn Chance's respect. It's not going to be given freely, so you can expect a very cold reaction. He doesn't really know his dad anyway. Chance doesn't even know what to call him now."

"Victor and Ashley Wed"

On the other side of Genoa City, Ashley continues to fear for the safety of her baby (that she already miscarried) as she nervously awaits her first sonogram. "Even though Ashley is still acting like she's pregnant, I think that really, subconsciously, she knows she's not," points out Eileen Davidson. "It's this weird turmoil where she's waiting for someone to tell her that she's not pregnant, but nobody is doing that."

Meanwhile, Dr. Taylor informs Adam that he rigged the sonogram machine to display images of a baby the same age that Ashley's fetus would be. The ruse works and Victor and Ashley are thrilled to see 'their' child on the sonogram. Still, Ashley can't help feeling uneasy. "Adam has been successful in keeping her off balance," reminds Davidson. "Even though everybody knows that someone is doing these strange things to Ashley, her behavior is still erratic. She's not really strong enough to get out of Adam's web. She's in too deep."

Angry at her loss of control, Ashley lashes out at Victor for the way he's handled everything over the last few months. "She basically feels alone," explains Davidson. "Victor is finding it hard to believe that Estella would do anything this bad. Ashley is still adamant that it's Estella because if she isn't guilty then it has to be Adam, and then Ashley loses everything. It's a very complicated story, which makes it really interesting. Finally, Ashley asks Victor to stay in the guestroom because she needs some alone time so she can collect herself."

The following day, Victor tries to ease Ashley's fears by popping the question -- again. This time, Ashley accepts the proposal. 'He sees how vulnerable she is, so he's hoping this will make her feel more secure. She wants what's best for the baby and she feels that marrying Victor would give her a sense of security and some stability. She just wants normalcy back in her life."

Victor wants to get married right away, so Ashley agrees to a quickie ceremony at the ranch. When Adam hears about his father's hasty plans, he devises one of his own involving Sabrina's purple dress. Meanwhile, Victoria stops by and is hurt when she learns that none of her father's family was invited to the wedding. "Ashley explains to Victoria that the only reason for that is because the wedding is so last-minute, plus there's everything that's going on with Summer. But Ashley tells Victoria that it would be wonderful if she stayed."

Meanwhile, Jack -- who just found out about the surprising nuptials -- arrives to change Ashley's mind. Unsurprisingly, Victor doesn't allow Jack in and an argument erupts between the two men. "Ashley tells Victor, 'Let him in so I can talk to him.' She and Jack actually have a good conversation. He gives in and stays for the wedding. These are the most messed-up siblings in the universe."

That night, Victor and Ashley say "I Do" in a very intimate ceremony, but it's not the quick fix Ashley was hoping for. "To her, this marriage is not a sure thing. She's not 100 percent behind this marriage. She just wants to feel good."

While everyone congratulates the happy couple, Mary Jane approaches the window wearing Sabrina's dress. "Ashley sees Mary Jane and thinks she's Sabrina," says Davidson. "She faints in Victor's arms."

After waking up, Ashley claims she saw Sabrina's ghost, and at this point, Victor really begins to doubt his new wife's sanity.

A Closer Look -- John Driscoll

The long-rumored return of Phillip Chancellor IV -- aka "Chance" -- comes to fruition this week, when the war hero arrives in Genoa City. John Driscoll, last seen as Coop on Guiding Light, discusses his new role and new roommate, co-star Billy Miller.

WEEKLY: What can you share about the big moments when Phillip walks in on Jill, Cane, Nina and Phillip III?

DRISCOLL: Here's this guy that literally walks through the door and is dressed head to toe in fatigues. He drops his bag. People are like, "Who is this guy?" And he says, "Mom." That's my one line in the episode. There's that immediate connection. Tricia Cast's character, Nina, comes running up to me and jumps into my arms. It's this great mother/son moment, this long embrace.

WEEKLY: What's it like playing a war vet?

DRISCOLL: It's an honorable thing to come into. There are so many families across the country right now that are experiencing sending their sons off; people that have one, two or three stars in the window signifying how many sons or daughters they have overseas. It's a strong storyline, and I'm happy and honored to be able to play it. I also come from a military background. My father is retired from the Army. He was lieutenant colonel. I grew up in that regimented lifestyle, so it's fitting.

WEEKLY: Did anyone give you the rundown on all of the show's Phillips when you started?

DRISCOLL: It was actually funny. They said, "Okay. You're in this episode," and I didn't realize my character was going to be called Chance. I'm reading the script and it had all this backstory about how Phillip left because of this and that. I said, "Guys. This doesn't sound like me at all." They said, "No, no, no. That's the character that plays your father, who just returned to town." I didn't realize that. When I looked at the lines for Chance, it came together.

WEEKLY: Your return was cloaked in secrecy. Was it hard not being able to talk about it?

DRISCOLL: It was. As soon as I found out I got the job, I had a charity event for autism going down in Florida. Someone asked, "What are you doing now?" I said, "I've got a job. I'll be airing this summer, but I can't talk about it." Everyone already knew I was hired by The Young and The Restless. They didn't know the character, but they were trying to piece it together.

WEEKLY: Now tell us about rooming with Billy Miller!

DRISCOLL: I'm couch-surfing at Billy's place until I can find a place of my own. I can't thank him enough. It was funny. My agent said, "You're going to come up for an audition. I've got a guy on the show that you know. Why don't you just crash at his place?" Billy went out and made a set of keys for me. He said, "You don't get the job, mail the keys back to me." Then it was like, "Where do you need to go? When do you need to be there? I'll take you."

WEEKLY: How do you two get along as roommates?

DRISCOLL: In all honesty, it feels like The Odd Couple a little bit. He's neat, but I'm just very OCD about putting things back in the same place, using coasters, doing the dishes, ironing, folding laundry and stuff like that. Not to say that Billy isn't. I guess it's kind of like having two Felixes living in the same house, but I'm a little more Felix-ish.

•Adam and Mary Jane run into each other, they start talking about Victor and Jack and decide to join forces. Adam helps Mary Jane hide on the property
•Phyllis, Nikki and Nick search Mary Jane's room they find a picture of Summer and Phyllis puts the pieces together. Phyllis later tells Heather what she knows, Heather suspends the investigation. The Newmans are relieved when Summer wakes up.
•Amber looks like she is about to faint after seeing Deacon with Daniel and Victoria, Deacon introduces himself pretending not to know Amber. Amber looks like she is still in shock seeing him
•Nick, Nikki and Paul make plans to track down Mary Jane after Paul finds out more about Mary Jane's past. Victor plans revenge of his own

Next - Phillip tells Jill and Katherine why he left Genoa City; Billy gets pissed seeing Mac and Cane hugging

Victoria was all emotional today, and Nikki asked Victor if she seemed moody to him. Does anyone know if they are writing her pregnancy in? I'm assuming JT is about to be pulled back to Colleen from the spoilers, so this could add to the drama.
