You Want to Stay Where?! A July PTR* TR LINK 8/8!

My vote goes to Ohana! What a beautiful little ballerina! The dress for Chef Mickey's is adorable! Wow your trip will be here so soon!!

I think it is great that you're getting some water park time in. It seems like the queen of the waterslides is going to be in her element! :lmao:

The Chef Mickey dress looks great. Seriously, how many Disney themed outfits are you going to have to leave home because you don't have enough luggage or days for her to wear them??? :confused3 :rotfl2:

Tournament:

Via Napoli. :rolleyes

Ok, fine... Ohana. :rolleyes2

Another tough one! I haven't actually eaten at either, but since my first born is a boy, I'm going to have to say...

'Ohana!

We have an ADR there in oct, and are so excited!

Shannon, I am back from our girls trip and my son's wedding and slowly catching up. I can't possibly respond to everything on everyone's TR's, but I love the ballerina...very cute!

I see a prima donna in the making! What a beautiful tutu!!! And, fantasyland girls are precious in their Lilo dresses! Too cute. It's coming so close to your trip, I'm so excited for you and can't wait to read all about it! And, lots of pictures too!

Thanks for keeping the excitement for me! Karen pixiedust:

Hmmm I have to vote for CRT because there's princesses!

Aw Maddie is such a perfect ballerina. I bet the recital was adorable.

Brynn and Julia look so cute in their Lilo dresses! Soon, you can have a Disboards fashion show featuring all your creations. :goodvibes

I'm a little confused... 'Ohana is in the counter service region? Maybe I read that wrong, I don't know. Since I don't really know which category it belongs in, I'm voting for 'Ohana!

You guys are getting really close to your trip now! Which means my trip is not far behind!! (I think I'm a week or two after you). We just got our mickey mail today. Have you gotten your pp+ yet? We are thinking about getting that also. I love all the dresses. Makes me wish I had a little girl.

My vote goes for 'Ohana, a million times over! For previously stated reasons, I hold a grudge against Cinderella and her table, royal as it may be. We've been to 'Ohana for dinner twice, and it has not disappointed either time! Next year we will be going for dinner, definitely, and possibly also squeezing in a breakfast. 'Ohana for President!

Wow, the clothes you are making are lovely! You are very talented.

Very interested to see your Etsy shop when you get around to it.....think I will be looking before my trip in September.....

Aw, isn't she adorable in her ballerina costume. :)

I vote CRT, for sure.

As for our trip, we are starting off at POP and then moving to AKL CL. Very excited about both places!

This is definitely the hardest choice yet! I'm really, really looking forward to dining at both! But.... I'm going to have to go with the CASTLE!! CRT just screams Walt Disney World to me. princess:

Wow, July is almost here!! It's always my favorite month! We have my birthday (13th), my daughter's 4th birthday (23rd) and our family vacation to the beach, Yay!! :beach: And it also means that YOUR trip is almost here!! I'm so excited to read your trip report (and your trip hasn't even happened yet, haha!)

So glad to have a fellow list maker aboard! Is it wrong that I don't find your descriptions crazy or obsessive? Doesn't every one make lists in that manner? My weekly grocery list gets written 3 times. First the menu, then ingredients for each meal, then the ingredients get organized according to the grocery aisles. Normal right?

Do you get excited for back to school sales so that you can stock up on more notebooks? Just me?:confused3

That's a lot of family! You guys must really get along great!

oooohh...I WISH I was that organized with my grocery lists!! I am HORRIBLE at planning dinners..

but I do have one of those coupon binders....and they're organized by store isle....:scared:...and DH LOVES to give me grief about my coupon book...but then he loves it when I come back from shopping and I've saved so much! Last week I had $140 in coupons - now, I did spend $220, but that was over half off!!

Im very "brand specific" so I cant really commit to extreme couponing, but I coupon when I can!!

OMG....can I just say that Im OBSESSED with school supplies...I have 2 of those plastic 3 drawer cabinets...I call them the "arts & crafts" drawers - and my boys know that if there is a school project or a school supply needed they will find it in there! and 9 times out of 10 if a teacher has a supply need, I have it in there - whether its 4 extra boxes of markers or dry erase markers or construction paper...Im a mess...:lmao:

on a more personal note:
and I have 2 younger sisters, one married with 2 kids, and the other a swinging-single  and we vacation 1 week together every summer...

our parents both died in early 2011 and we used to vacation a lot as a family growing up and even when we became adults and when our parents died the sisters and I decided that since we're now "orphans" and our family circle got smaller we should stick together!

so, we rent a larger beach house and the 9 of us vacation together!! the cousins love spending time together and all of us adults get along, so a good time is had by all!!

(that might have been a little too much "personal sharing"..but sometimes I just cant stop!!)

:rotfl:

soo....back to the PTR!!!

From the Character/Dinner Show Region

Cinderella's Royal Table
vs.
From the Counter Service Region
'Ohana

I HAVE to pick 'Ohana!!

its my boys favorite for dinner and b'fast!!!

I don’t think they cancelled cheer perfection, I think it just like, ended for it’s season and won’t start up again til Sept? The cheer competition season schedule’s a little wonky, they’re usually done in like, March, until Sept with the exception of training camps and stuff, I’m guessing it’ll be back!

YAY Le Cellier!!

I’m gonna have to vote for CRT…

I have to say, I liked the food, characters, and just overall experience better there than Ohana. And it’s in the castle, like, it has to win!

SO CLOSE!! AW MAN SO EXCITED FOR YOU GUUUUYYYSS

Oh my gosh those ballet pics are priceless, love that even the crocs match! Adorable!

I love all the themed outfits! Heck, I planned most of my outfits for Sept for Disneybounding and they all relate to where we’ll be that day, or who we’ll see/where we’ll eat, I put that much thought into it haha!

Very excited about your Etsy shop too! Obviously, I’ll be interested in it, baha!

Well, this really isn't a contest anymore, is it?

Cinderella's Royal Table

it's Cindy's
It is THE castle afterall.... :cool1:

I love 'Ohana and Le Cellier, but, don't think either can beat CRT!

But, it was a fun contest! pixiedust:

Thanks for all the hard work you and Bryan put into this game! Karen

Well, I personally agree :goodvibes

Thanks Karen!

Hmm! This is a harder round! I want to vote for CRT, because I've been there before, but I've heard wonderful things about ohana!

So I guess I will go with CRT since it is in the castle!

Maddie looks so cute in her ballet dress! :goodvibes:

Glad to hear that she is rocking the slides!

Very cute dress!

Her coloring pages are adorable! I love seeing little kid handwriting!

Brynn and Julia are rocking those dresses, FantasyLand Mom! :thumbsup2:

They are very pretty dresses, especially on them!

:simba:

Thank you so much! The castle will always be quite a draw for me too. There's just something about it.

Don't those girls look great in their dresses? They are so cute!

My vote goes to Ohana! What a beautiful little ballerina! The dress for Chef Mickey's is adorable! Wow your trip will be here so soon!!

Thanks for voting, and thank you so much! It is almost here-we are so excited!

I think it is great that you're getting some water park time in. It seems like the queen of the waterslides is going to be in her element! :lmao:

Ok, fine... Ohana. :rolleyes2

:rotfl2: We aren't leaving a single outfit at home! That's the beauty of Southwest-bags fly free! Just you wait dad, just you wait...:lmao:

Oh the queen of the waterslides is very excited!

I know, I know. I'll mark 'Ohana down for you.

Another tough one! I haven't actually eaten at either, but since my first born is a boy, I'm going to have to say...

'Ohana!

We have an ADR there in oct, and are so excited!

Thank you for voting! We love 'Ohana-breakfast and dinner!

Shannon, I am back from our girls trip and my son's wedding and slowly catching up. I can't possibly respond to everything on everyone's TR's, but I love the ballerina...very cute!

So glad to see you back Kathy! How was the wedding? How was the trip? Are you exhausted after that month? Thank you!

I'm going to go with Ohana this time :)

Thanks for voting!

Oh yeah. She's a definitely a diva in training.

We are so excited! You know that there will be LOTS of pictures. :thumbsup2

Thanks Karen!

Thanks for voting Courtney!

I love those dance recitals! The little girls are so cute.

yay! Great idea!!

I'm a little confused... 'Ohana is in the counter service region? Maybe I read that wrong, I don't know. Since I don't really know which category it belongs in, I'm voting for 'Ohana!

Oops! nope, 'Ohana is still a TS. Thanks for voting!

Cute dresses, as always.

My vote is for Cinderella's Royal Table

Thanks Mel!

You guys are getting really close to your trip now! Which means my trip is not far behind!! (I think I'm a week or two after you). We just got our mickey mail today. Have you gotten your pp+ yet? We are thinking about getting that also. I love all the dresses. Makes me wish I had a little girl.

Thanks so much! Are you getting excited? I know that we are!

I ordered PP+ as part of my Magic Your Way package. My PP+ voucher came in the magical extras coupon book. I called because I hadn't gotten my stock photo CD (with code to redeem for photos after the trip), the CM said I'll receive it when I turn in the voucher. :confused3 Kind of confusing. If you're planning to order PP+ you should do it soon! I hear it can take up to 3 weeks to arrive.

:lmao::lmao::lmao: I love it! Vote dully noted.

We loved the breakfast at 'Ohana-doing it again this year!

Wow, the clothes you are making are lovely! You are very talented.

Very interested to see your Etsy shop when you get around to it.....think I will be looking before my trip in September.....

Thank you so much! I had hoped to get the Etsy shop opened before we leave for WDW, but it's not looking great. I do intend to get it running ASAP though. If there's anything specific you're wanting for the trip feel free to PM me! I adore special orders!

Aw, isn't she adorable in her ballerina costume. :)

I vote CRT, for sure.

As for our trip, we are starting off at POP and then moving to AKL CL. Very excited about both places!

Thank you!

Wow! Club level is one of those things I'd really love to so sometime. I can't wait to hear how you like it. What a fun trip!

This is definitely the hardest choice yet! I'm really, really looking forward to dining at both! But.... I'm going to have to go with the CASTLE!! CRT just screams Walt Disney World to me. princess:

I've always been partial to July myself! My little brother's birthday is in July as well.

A beach vacation sounds great! Where are you going?

I'm excited to share it!

Thank you so much for sharing! I'm so glad that you did. How great that you and your siblings to make each other a priority. That's so important. Your huge family trip sounds like a lot of fun!

I wish I could be organized with coupons. I go through phases where I'll cut them out and have great intentions, but fail. I am that person who can't seem to remember to take the coupons to the store and use them!

Oh school supplies are my favorite. I wish I was that organized with them. That's always the goal. I think when we finally get the craft room squared away I'll be able to get the arts supplies and such organized in there. I do love organizing!

Thanks for voting!

I'm pretty sure that my on demand dropped the CP before the last season ended though. They were gearing up for the first big competition. I'm going to check on demand and netflix to see if they have it.

I can't believe that the trip is almost here! We are so very excited!

Maddie's teacher gave me the list of dance classes she qualified to take next year, and one of them is theater dance! How cool is that? It's all Broadway style dance and choreography. This years class did Step in Time from Mary Poppins and a song from Hairspray-it was awesome. The class is supposed to be for ages 8 and up, but if her teacher thinks she can do it I might encourage it. I think it sounds super fun!

I know you've had a ton going on, but if you want to PM me with your measurements, I can get started on your dress for MNSSHP soon. There was a pattern sale, and though I didn't find a perfect one, I did find two that I can combine to make it. :thumbsup2

We've almost done it friends! We started with 64 of the most popular restaurnts at WDW, and after tonight only 2 restaurants will remain.

Here's how last week's battle went down:

Representing the Character/Dinner Show Region

3. Cindrella's Royal Table faced off against

From the Table Service Region

1. 'Ohana

After the votes were tallied.....

We had a tie! So, as has been my policy, Bryan cast the deciding vote. The winner was.....

Cinderella's Royal Table!

And so here is what the bracket looks like now:

The championship match-up is set. The restaurant that receives the most votes will be the official winner of the first ever Tournament of Food!!!

Representing the Signature/Celebrity Chef Region

2. Le Cellier

vs. representing the Character/Dinner Show Region

Cinderella's Royal Table

Remember to cast your votes for the restaurant you've most enjoyed or the one you'd most like to try. The winner will be declared at this time next week!

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Guess My ADR Game!

It's finally time to reveal the winner!

After the final round's points were totaled, we had a tie between RonMel and TruLovesKiss! Luckily the tie break guesses had been in place since the beginning. I'm pleased to announce that the winner of the Guess My ADR Game by one tie break point is....:rockband: (best I could find for a drum roll)

TruLovesKiss! Congrats to Rachel who had correctly guessed all 3 counter service locations that we plan to visit! :yay: Awesome job!

Thank you so much to everyone who participated! I hope that you all enjoyed it as much as I did!

We're so excited to try some new places this trip, and to visit some old favorites. Next week I'll recap our dining plans and detail all of the changes that have taken place since the PTR started so long ago.
