Chef Mickey's is such fun. Your boys look like they're really getting into the characters there. I think I remember that all of the characters came to us except for Donald. We had to go visit him in the middle of the restaraunt. Maybe because we were up some steps?

Chef Mickey's looks like so much fun! I love the characters in their cute chef outfits. And the boys' facial expressions are priceless! They are little charmers aren't they?

I was comparing the pictures of Zach now to when he started preschool 3 years ago... I can't believe how big he has gotten. He actually has some loose teeth! His bottom two teeth are just starting to get loose - I notice when I floss his teeth.

Chef Mickey's was definitely worth the trek from CBR - we had a lot of fun. And we filled our bellies with something other than chicken nuggets!

That's what I figured from your description - since I hadn't been to Chef Mickey's before I couldn't picture where you were sitting when you wrote about it, but once we got there I started to figure it out.

Chef Mickey's is such fun. Your boys look like they're really getting into the characters there. I think I remember that all of the characters came to us except for Donald. We had to go visit him in the middle of the restaraunt. Maybe because we were up some steps?

The characters came around really fast - we had a hard time taking a bathroom break - every time a character would leave we would try to hit the restroom, but then we'd see another character heading our way. (We did eventually make it to the bathroom without incident.)

First I have to comment on the closet Disney addict issue....COME OUT!!!! Girl....we know you love it! I know wearing Tink & MM seems to fit alittle better in the World....but hey if people can't tell I have this love affair by know....

Funny....as I was looking thru the pic's Margaret was sitting here and the first one w/ Alex I think turned around getting Goofy's autograph...she shouts out

"Goofy & Do-Do!"

Do-Do is what her and Michael call each other....Michael has never really refered to her by her actual name and has called her Do-Do for quite some time, and once she began saying her siblings names...well he is Do-Do too....

Can't wait for more!

I wear my Tink shirts proudly, as well as my Disney Jibbitz in my Crocs, my magnets on my car, my coffee cups, and my Mickey earrings! Everyone who knows me knows I love Disney, but I really don't think they know how DEEP this obsession goes! LOL! The extent of my love affair is our little secret!

Yes - the path to MK from CR. Well done! I knew that someone who had walked that path before would easily figure that one out.

I guess it isn't a matter of wearing my MM/Tink shirts with pride, it's a matter of wearing them too often, or wearing them when I should be a bit more dressed up. Wait until you see the surprise in my next update.

As Julie (mousescrapper) guessed, we decided to walk to MK after Chef Mickey's to catch a bus back to CBR. It was such a nice walk – I love the pictures I took along the way:

MK was closing at 7 that night and the line for the bus was LONG! Luckily 2 buses pulled up shortly after we got in line. When we got back to CBR Zach was complaining that he needed to go to the bathroom but couldn’t… do you think the 20 shrimp had anything to do with it?? Tim took Alex to swim and I gave Zach a bath – I thought a warm bath might help him out, but no luck – he still didn’t “go” before bed. The kids were in bed by 8-8:30. After putting them to bed I took a walk over to OPR. I was trying to figure out where the path was to the little island in the middle of the resort. I walked over behind the pool and finally figured it out. I didn't go over to the island because I intended to do it later with the kids, but we never made it back. I also didn't bring my camera on that outing since I had just planned to get a snack and maybe browse the gift shop a little. Well I did a little more than browse...

I bought a mug for myself, that I use every morning:

A new magnet for the fridge (I like to get one every trip):

The characters actually spin around the outside of the magnet!

Car decals that you all inspired me to finally put on my car today (I'M OUT, I'M OUT):

I also bought a keychain and antenna topper for one of Alex’s therapists. She has a pink antenna topper that is looking kind of old so we got her a new one for when that one finally bites the dust. I don’t think she has it on her car yet. I also got a Minnie nurse pin for Tim’s mom. It’s the nurse Minnie that KathyRN has in her signature. I also used 2 snack credits at the food court – I got a super yummy vanilla cupcake (another one of my new favorite Disney desserts) and a bag of jelly beans. I crave sweets before bed.

When I got back to the room, after mentioning that he was starting to worry because I’d been gone so long, Tim said that Jeff had called and their plan for the next day was to leave at 7am!

I cut my yummy cupcake in half (Tim didn’t want half so I saved it for another day) got in bed, watched Stacey and savored every bite of my snack. Then I noticed I wasn’t feeling great – I hoped it was just the sweets and not the Disney flu, or even worse… the Swine Flu – which was starting to be all over the news.

For those keeping track, here’s where we stand on dining credits at the end of Day 3:
17 CS meals left (started with 20 – used 3) – apparently I paid OOP for Tim’s breakfast that morning – but we started using a CS credit for it on day 4.
20 TS meals left (started day with 24 – used 4)
20 Snacks left (started day with 22 – only used 2)

Any students who had been in "effected areas" had to be screened.

It was actually Heidi, not Kathy that guessed POC - and you are both wrong. But like Heidi said, those rocks are in several places at WDW... keep guessing.

Sorry to hear Dan was freaked out - mine probably would have been too - especially Zach - if they weren't too young to be oblivious to the situation.

I would have been freaked out about it if we hadn't sort of made a joke of the swine flu... I was way over-using the hand sanitizer and every time I would pull it out I'd say, "swine" quietly to Tim and he'd put out his hand!

I was looking to get those decals on our last visit... but MouseGears was sold out of grown-ups and only had kids. Oh well, there's always next time!

I not only have that Minnie pin in my signature, I also wear it on my uniform at work!!

And the constipation issue is one we always deal with at Disney... must be because we get off of our regular routines and get a bit dehydrated... anyway, I've learned to pack ex-lax chocolate chews for just such situations. (Okay, they really don't taste like candy, but the kids only need 1/2 of an already tiny square and it works!!)
