you people make me mad

That's funny because I'm 5'3-1/2" and feel like everything is made for tall people. I tried on a coat the other day and the sleeves were past my finger. I try to shop petite but pants seem about 1/2" too short and regular womens are about 6 inches to long. I'll just have to stick with my birthday suit:teeth:

It must be true what they say about men with long arms.:)

Me to at 5'3"!! I have to decide if I want to wear "waders" or let my pants legs drag the ground. The extra long sleeves are an advantage in the winter as it helps keep my hands warm. ;)

Sorry, Pop Daddy, but they aren't designing clothes for me! I think they are aiming for that "average" that never quite fits anyone.

Just wear tank tops and you won't have to worry.

(Geesh, I get blamed for everything.)

Tank tops? In the winter? In Boston? You trying to kill me now, too ;)

Well, BreezyCarol, someone has to be blamed for this. May as well be you. We'll breeze someone else for Pop Daddy's next problem.

Hmm. Maybe we can request that they start making "Coed Naked DISing" shirts to sell in the DIS store. They can make them in various sleeve lengths and necks. Hmm. We could be onto something here.

Actually, it's because all the "long sleeved" shirts are really 3/4 length. It's trendy, don'tcha know? They even sell sweaters like that!

And what's up with those small necks. I guess that the people that make shirts think that all men are pencil neck geeks with short arms.

Hey, that's my dh's problem! He has to get shirts that are way too big for him just so that the neck will be large enough. Of course I could actually try to make him some shirts. I've been seriously considering that lately because he's way too cute to go around with shirts that aren't fitting properly.

I have a different problem area with shirts! The same problem area that Jessica Rabbitt has!!!

I have to get tops and undertops customized! Very expensive! So I feel your pain Pop Daddy!!!;)

DH is 6'3 and fairly slim. I learned the hard way that "big and tall" stores really mean BOTH big AND tall, so that didn't work. The Eddie Bauer catalog sells men's clothing in tall sizes that fit him perfectly. I also buy shirts for him in neck/sleeve sizes if I can. When all else fails, a size XL generally does the trick and isn't too awful when tucked in (he's more like a large if he can get something with long enough sleeves).

For women and cuff lengths, that's why there are tailors!

I bet Simba doesn't have the same problem.:p

KristiKelly, we're the same height.:) Pants are always too too long (capris look like pants on me:o ), but I have a problem with long sleeves being too short.

Tanklady!:wave2: Haven't you heard? Pop dudey is a hunk and a HALF!

I think you should just stop wearing shirts, that will solve the problem.

Are your pants too short, too. ;)

its because you all have short arms, that almost all long sleave shirts dont make it to my wrist.

Hey, mister!! Try being a really tall woman. Even "talls" in women's sizes don't think any of us are over 6'.

Wrists and ankles freezing,
allie

Jason, you almost made a 2 line post:teeth: :hyper:
