I don't know if this was an all over the country thing, but in the late 80's Cavaricci pants were THE thing everyone had to have.

I was married in 84 but the first date movie dh and I saw was Gremlins. I am surprised we had a 2nd date since I held on so tight to him.

I saw Bon Jovi in concert several times. My sisters and I would drive home singing at the top of our lungs.

Oregon Trail was the best! I owned the Strawberry Shortcake kids, had high bangs, wore bike short under my dresses, know the Care Bear Stare (had several) and so many more! Thanks for sharing.
 
WOW. I had pink and black LA Gears and I even had 2 sets of shoelaces in each - a pink and a black - and of course, I wore 2 colors of socks to go with them :lmao:

That's awesome! My mom actually has a copy of Oregon Trail at home; she uses it with some of the grade school kids she tutors. My brother and I got hold of it one day and had a contest to see who could die first. :laughing:
 
Oh, and the "boom box" comment reminded me...when I was home over Christmas, I noticed that not only are my parents still using my old boom box up in the barn (they leave it on at night in an attempt to scare the coyotes away) but that it still has a Zeltzer Seltzer sticker on it! I must've stuck that thing on there 20 years ago!
