You Just Got Married at WDW - What're You Gonna Do Next? LIVE Blog from WDW (p.24)!

Sorry yesterday was so light on pix - today will be better. It's AK for rides, Epcot for F & W lunch, and back to AK for shows and dinner at Boma.

Just posting on here since we ran into you two tonight! Hope you have a great time tomorrow!

Check out the blog today for pix of all the Food & Wine items we eat!

Can't wait to read more when you get back...I've been keeping up w/your blog and DH and I have been loving the pics!! :goodvibes

I'm so pleased you did both HM's on one day - congrats :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Can't wait to hear about things - hope you get it written before we go away in Dec, you've got 10 weeks :thumbsup2

WooHoo - you did it! Congrats!!! :cool1: :thumbsup2  :woohoo: :yay: :dance3: :cheer2:

I've soooo enjoyed your live blog! Now looking forward to the trip report!

This is probably identical to the comment I posted on your blog, but congratulations! That must have been fun, and how cool to get to extend your trip for an additional day at Disneyland!

Thanks guys! It was exhausting, but worth it. And then we didn't get to bed til 1am and I had to get up at 4:30am! More on that later...

So whaddya think.... would it be weird if I kept this thread going as my PJ for our February Anniversary trip and started a new thread for this TR? Or should I just turn this thread into the TR and start a new one for Feb.?

I'd turn this thread into a poll, but I hear you can't remove it later, so... thoughts? Opinions?

i'D KEEP THIS ONE AS YOUR tr AND START A NEW FEB ONE..AND THEN TURN THAT ONE INTO THE NEXT TR :) SO HAPPY TO HAVE YOU BACK!

I think you could do either way- whatever makes sense to you. (Yes, indecisive is my middle name). But whatever you do, try to update us soon!! :goodvibes Can't wait to hear all about it!!!

I vote for keeping this as your pre-trippie for the Feb.trip; and just start a trip report for your just-completed trip -- posting the new link to it here, of course!;)

(it's what I'm doing for the two trips I'm now planning!)

Oh Mrs. Lurkyloo, where are you? Haha that rhymes. We want Trip report!

It's coming! I didn't realize that I have to upload the pix on my iPhone to Photobucket one at a time  so it's taking a bit...

I think I'll keep this thread going as a PJ for the February anniversary trip, and start a new thread with the report of our September trip - hope that's OK with everyone.

I'll post the link here and in my siggie ASAP! :thumbsup2

OK, so, this may seem like a no-brainer to some, but our September trip convinced me to add three days to our anniversary trip in Jan/Feb.

I wanted to wait and see if a week felt like enough time in WDW. It actually did, but I noticed that it took me almost 2 days to really get into the rhythm of being on vacation this time, so I'm thinking it couldn't hurt to pad the anniversary trip.

Maybe this happens to everyone, but I spent those first two days go-go-going as if I were still at home trying to meet work deadlines and muscle my way through rush hour. :sad2: It made me snappish and cranky when I should have been mellow and happy. Yuck! I think I did this on our wedding trip too but didn't realize it because I thought I was grumpy from running around doing wedding errands during the first few days....

So now, in addition to a week at Beach Club Villas, we put three extra days at Wilderness Lodge on the front of our trip, making it Jan. 28-Feb. 7. :hyper:

At first I was cracked on adding the days at BoardWalk Inn, (cuz I loooove the public spaces and think the rooms look cute) but our DVC contact couldn't get us a ressie there and the prices for a cash ressie are still a little steep. Plus, I think it might be more interesting to spend time at one MK-area resort and one Epcot-area resort instead of all Epcot-area resorts. We were offered a fairly good AAA rate at WL when I called to check (and are hoping for an AP rate to appear later this month), so....

DH really likes the idea of Wilderness Lodge, too. I'm not crazy about the room decor, but I love the lobby and the waterfall/pool/lake view. :goodvibes Plus, we have some fond memories of taking our engagement photos there....

Knowing where we're staying meant I could fix up the dining ressies I made in haste the minute our booking window opened last month. More on those later....

That's so cool, you're staying at our two fave resorts :goodvibes

And good for you adding those extra days :thumbsup2 I get cranky too, like you say rushing around like you do at home and the heat doesn't help ;) this year we're gonna slow down the pace a bit (although the Mousefest schedule is so tempting:rotfl: so many meets and not enough time)

Looking forward to hearing about your ADR's :thumbsup2

Yeah for adding on 3 more days!!! :cool1: Wilderness Lodge has been under the radar for me until recently. Now I'm obsessing over it-- especially for a Christmastime visit. But I will have to check out the room decor. The lobby photos have me at hello.
