Ebay fees are increasing on February 2nd - so you might want to get busy and list as much as you can this month..
You can read about it in the General Announcments on eBay..
A small sample -
.01 to .99 starting price
30 cents
$1.00 to $9.99 starting price
35 cents
10-day auction listings (now 10 cents)
20 cents
---------------------------------
Don't know about anyone else here, but I can't afford to pay the fees that would be incurred if I were to list an item between .01 and .99 and then had it actually sell for the opening price..
What I see happening with that is sellers really, REALLY padding their S&H to make it worthwhile - or pulling the auctions just before they end if the items don't go above those opening prices..
------------------------
A 5 cent increase for the $1 to $9.99 auction doesn't sound like much in theory, but when you list 50 to 100 items a week, that can add up REAL quick!!
----------------------------------------
I've never used the 10-day auction - and I'm sure not going to start now at
20 cents per auction..
-----------------------------------------
I don't see these increases as being a good thing for the seller
or the buyer..
What do you all think?
