Also, I have at least 100 CD's I would like to get rid of.. Are these worth the 30 cents and the effort???

I've been a pack-rat for well over 35 years - and my DH was just as bad - so I've been selling off all kinds of stuff we have around the house..

However, if I happen to be at a garage sale and I see something that I'm 100% sure I can sell on eBay, I may take a whack at it - depending on how much extra spending money I have..

As for your CD's - I guess it would depend on who the artists are - and of course they have to be the real thing - not copies..

I would do a search on the particular artists you have - and then I would probably list them in "lots" rather than paying 30 cents per CD..

I have listed cds before and have only had luck selling unopened ones. Has anyone else had luck selling used cds (in good condition)?

I've had good luck with half.com. No listing fees! New, used, whatever sells on half.com.

Good luck!

Just curious, you people that are listing 100's of items, is this all stuff you had in your house or are you hitting garage sales, auctions etc and hoping to resale at a profit???

Yep, I've been buying at auctions mostly lately. I go to estate sales and yardsales too. I miss those yardsales this winter.

I tried putting up quite a few on half.com before Christmas and was surprised that they all sold within a couple of weeks! Some of them were "worth" more, others only a couple of dollars. But I didn't want them anyway, so it was nice to get anything for them. The ones that were selling for less than 2.00 I decided to keep and not list, as I thought it wasn't worth the trouble for such a small profit. Overall, though, I found it very easy and definitely worth the time. It's much faster listing on half.com because all the info is already there for you!

Mine ranged in condition from only "acceptable" to "very good," and they all sold.

Thanks for the encouragement.. I finally figured out how to download my pictures and got some items put on Ebay today.. Seems like thats all I've been doing today, but a few of my items are already got bids on them, so Im happy.. I figure anything I can make will help.. We were planning on doing Disneyworld either late this year or at least within the next few years, but plans changed . Just wanted to mention that I put a 5 day Childs Hopper pass up for grabs on Ebay, if anyone is interested, because by the time we will actually get to go, I wont be able to use the childs pass for my daughter, so I figured I would put it up for auction and see what happens..

Good luck to everyone..

Has your daughter used the hopper pass at all? Because if she has, Disney forgives her for growing up and will let her trade it in for an adult pass at no extra charge.

DMRick, I found that auction and the pass is unused.

bettyann, wow! you managed to get a nice number of auctions up and running! great job! the only thing I may be concerned with is that people may be leery of bidding on a park hopper from a seller with no feedback. I'm not sure how that may affect the price you get.

No None of the pass has been used.. It was purchased as a 5 day hopper pass.

I'm hoping that someone will take the chance on me with me being new and all, but the days are truly on it.. Purchased it several years ago as we had planned on going with the kids but that didnt happen.. Looks like it will a few more years at the minimum before we make it back to WDW.

at that price, I'm sure someone will take a chance. I would, and just pay with a credit card through Paypal...then you don't have ot worry as much that it's not a "good" ticket. I'd bid, if I had any kids going with me this trip. Are you sending it registered mail..is that why the shipping is so high?

Yes thats why its so high.. I figured that it would be best that way there is proof that it was recvd. I'm just leary of someone coming back and saying they didnt get it and then that money having to be given back. Hope it sells..

I finally decided to try and sell some of my old Disney / non Disney stuff. So far, I'm doing pretty good. I have a bunch of old porcelain figurines that are not easy to come by and I'm hoping to pay off a couple of my WDW meals with them :) Wish me luck!

I just PM'ed you for your user name. I'm taking DGD & a couple of her friends in June. DGD & I have AP's but I need to get the other two passes.

took my ebay name off board.. If anyone wants it, just pm me or leave note and I will pm you with it..

If I'm "reading" the auction correctly, she's only accepting money order or cashier's check.

I'm sorry bettyann, I didn't mean to imply that you won't be able to sell it. I'm sure you will. That is a great price. I just meant that you may get less than if you had some postive feedback. Then again, you never know. People like a deal, and when it comes to all things Disney, many times they sell for more than you can buy them for outside ebay...go figure! lol You may end up with more than you even paid, you never can tell! ;)

oops...I think you are suppose to post your ebay name within PM's, not on the boards.

Oh..no paypal or charge..I would pass with 0 feedback myself. I didn't even notice. I'm sure someone will buy it at that price..or even more. I'm more cautious.

Yep, that's kind of what I meant. It doesn't necessarily mean bidding won't go high, but I think at least some won't bid because of the 0. Honestly, I wouldn't either. I've been burned by 0's before and just wouldn't take the chance with something worth so much money.

bettyann, I'm not sure of your reasons for excluding paypal, but you may want to consider adding it. :D
