You HAVE to try this!! EBAY your way to DISNEY Part 2!!!!

I listed my sons Monsters Inc. Mike costume around the very end of aug./1st of sept. time frame. I did pretty good on it. I wouldn't wait till Oct. to list it because these days people take there kids halloween pretty serious and are out shopping for costumes fairly early. ( we are the type that wait till the last week and panic usually:D )

When I list my first few auctions...I didn't realize that it listed an old email address to pay....to paypal....

After the auctions closed I wasn't able to retrieve the money so I looked into and realized what happened. I contacted paypal and they walked me through the instructions to get payment. It required the purchaser to manual do the payment. Of the 5 sales 4 have successfully fixed the payment and I have recieved. 1 sale hasn't and hasn't even responded to any of my emails 5 to date. Paypal states payment pending..which according to pay pal means they paid once but it is going into an unclaimed status as the email account isn't registered with paypal..

It has been 7 days....how long do I wait until I relist or contact another buyer....???

Someone told me i needed to claim there payment through paypal. What are they talking about?
I go to the paypal site and it says completed is there anything else i have to do? I did a search on paypal help from claiming payments and came up empty. Any idea on what they were talking about?

BTW... cleared my first hundred here !!

Thanks,
Sharon:bounce:

we are concerned that the new disc will be kept & a used game will be returned, the buyer has said they run a game shop).

If it doesn't work, then I feel shipping is the responsibility of the seller..unless it's sold as is. I also would tell the person returning the game, that the mark you put on the game using a ultra pen, must still be on the box, and of course the game must be returned with the item. In most cases, if they are trying to pull a switheroo..you won't hear again. If it really doesn't work, then it'll be returned with no concern for any markings.
After this, if you are selling expensive items, I would look into getting the marker that many high sellers use..

What is an ultra pen please? Completely new term to me.

I have a question about listing. I have a bunch of old Liberty Falls village houses that I want to sell on Ebay. The thing is, I would like to put them in one auction with a fixed price of $1 or $2 each (I haven't really decided) and then list the house numbers and put a link to a picture of each one then let the buyer tell me which ones they want. Is that possible on Ebay? I'm not trying to circumvent paying fees, I just thought if they were all in one auction, I might sell more than if they have to search through all of my auctions. If that is not possible, is it okay to do one auction for each but still list all of them in each auction but specify that you are only buying one. For instance:

Up for purchase is Item "AH49"

I also have the following up for purchase please check out my other auctions if you are interested.

"AH50"
"AH51"

and so on. I have about 50 of them that I would want to list in each auction.

Any help as to how would be the best way to list them is appreciated!

I am pretty sure you can only list one item per auction, unless you are selling them in a lot. Why not just put in the auction, in bold and red if you like, see my other auctions for more Liberty Falls village houses

Can I be more specific and list which numbers I have to save them the time or is that not allowed?

It's not allowed, it's called "keyword spamming". You need to list it like disneychrista said.

You can have multiple items in one auction (dutch auction), but they need to be identical.

Thanks, that's what I was wondering. I didn't want to do something wrong and get kicked off Ebay - it's too profitable.

I actually won a trip for two to Orlando on the radio so we don't need much money for our trip in October. However, I have a 10 week old littl girl and I am covering all of her expenses with my Ebay money. I call her my Ebaby. :D

Sorry..I shortened the name. It's an ultraviolet pen, that shows only under a black light. Several people used to sell them on eBay. Just do a search for ultrviolet pens and several should pop up.

I made a killing selling costumes but I sold them in October.

::yes:: After all, four one-day tickets (in order to "hop" to just one other park) would be over $200. Of course, anyone could just buy a four or five day hopper and save the extra days themselves... Or, heck, sell the extra days on eBay!

I just put up my first item to sell on eBay. I have some questions. We have a PayPal account but we've just used it to pay for things we've bought. Since I'm just getting started, I made the payment options M.O./cashier's check. I'd really like to recieve payments through PayPal as to attract more people but we don't have a bank account for just eBaying. So if I allow PayPal payments, how would I get the money for it? Is there a way I can somehow get cash for the amount? It's all very confusing. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

You do not have to have a seperate account for ebay/paypal to get the money, you can link it to your regular checking account. It is a good idea however to get a seperate account, look around for a free checking account that does not require direct deposit or a minimum balance (Washington Mutual has this). You can get a check issued to you if you like but they do charge a free to process the check .

Thank you both. I'm trying to learn the whole process to make some extra money for our Orlando trip in a couple of months.:teeth:
