You have got to see this!

I looked at it last night. Several things come to mind.

First, it is TOTALLY wrong to post pictures of young children and promise that they will promote a business. They are CHILDREN! Leave them out of it! If mom & dad want to pimp themselves out then that's their own problem.

Second, WDW would be an odd demographic to target. What business would bid for that? Cheap advertising, yes. The bid was less than $17 when I looked. But is that the best use of your advertising dollar? You have NO CLUE who will see your ad. And more than likely nobody would pay that much attention! I can't imagine being so interested in something on somebody's shirt that I would grab a page out of DS's autograph book and jot down the info.

Bizarre people.

When I went to view the site on Ebay it had been closed. Can anyone please tell me what the auction on ebay was about. :confused3

There was an auction posted by a family going to WDW for 8 days, 7 nights, staying on property. They posted a pic of their two young (preschool age) kids. They wanted to offer themselves as human billboards fro the duration of the trip. They would wear shirts advertising the sponsor's business the ENTIRE time they were on the trip, but the sponsor had to provide 2-3 shirts per person for them to wear. If the bid was over $200 the dad would do a "bonus" daily blog w/ pics of them wearing the shirts around the World.

I didn't read the entire thing because it was LONG, but that was the basic core plan.

Why doesn't the parents just stand on the street corner and panhandle. They would probably make more $$$ faster. What a joke. What people will do. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
I have actually seen things on ebay that I would consider panhandling. I was searching for some equipment for people with disabilities and found some auctions that were the internet equivilent of standing on a street corner with a tin cup. Very sad.
Here's an example. At least this one is an adult. I've seen auctions where someone was selling crayon drawings by their child with a disability.

I am sickened to think that someone would use thier children to make money. Maybe dad should of considered wearing the shirts, makes me wonder why they didnt. Maybe he didnt want to post his picture on the net. Poor kids, just makes you wonder what dad is willing to do to avoid gettting a job!!!!!!!

Someone must have noticed from EBay. It was yanked. I never got to see what all the buzz was about. Hey, beats all those FCUK teeshirts around the parks! and worse...
