It was a ton of reading but I like to read especially when it's Disney themed!! Real life really does suck! I don't know why it has to interfere with my Disney time.

I just decided to start my TR! I'm enjoying it already. I've discovered that iPhoto codes all my pictures and tells me what time they were taken so that helps me piece the days together better! I didn't write anything down but I take pictures of pretty much anything so I'm hoping there's enough weird ones to serve as time markers!

Hey friends! I'm just gonna jump in here with a little bit of a life update first, things are all awesome, and I've somehow managed to get a BOG ADR for February!! It's the last day of our trip, and I can't imagine a better way to end a week at Disney, I have a feeling that this trip is going to be one of the best!!! In terms of February: I'm no longer competing with dance, boooo, ballroom's a little wonky with their competition fees, and as the student, if you dance with the instructor, you are paying their way for the comp, and since I'd be the only one going, he said it would be not fair for me to pay that amount. So, I won't dance until May, but at least it's happening, and gives me some more money for Disney! Now, onto Disney dance news, I've been keeping updated with the audition site, and have noticed that they've dropped the weight restriction on FOTLK down to 110 pounds...ugh....so we'll see if that ever works out, lol.

As I had left off, Mom and I were just exiting the Haunted Mansion, and had snagged a pretty awesome parade spot over in Liberty Square! Yay! We didn’t have to wait very long, and it was nice to have a little sit down while we waited. Before the parade started, it was absolutely adorable, there was a little girl who clearly had to go to the bathroom or something, and her Dad was pushing the stroller along the cleared path, as it wasn’t closed yet, and she was just LIVING IT UP! She was smiling and waving, seriously, the whole thing was for her, and everyone was cheering, it was absolutely adorable!

First came part of the Philharmonic band along the parade route!

And then the Grand Marshalls, Family of the Day thing. Super awesome that they do so many things to help make trips more magical. I have to say, I’d prefer to be the Family of the Day that opens the park than be in a parade, but maybe that’s just me??

This was really funny and cute, Dale was right along the rope, and he kept running in front of it, and then looking back at the performer in the blue, like he was testing him, all “Haha, I’m not supposed to pass the rope, but I am!” and the guy would be all “Dale…” and point behind the rope, absolutely adorbs!

I appreciate that this parade has a bunch of characters that you don’t regularly see, I guess it’s the same as the Pixar Play Parade, but really, if they had the same characters everywhere, it would just get boring. Although it does make people annoyed, such as “Meg’s in Fantasmic, why can’t she come out for meet & greets, ugh”. So I guess someone will always be unhappy!

I also know a bunch of people don’t like the fact that Disney wigs 99% of their performers, but really, I like that it really ties everything together better. Yes, everyone could do the same “hair style” but with one person with naturally curly, versus straight, short vs long, and in that heat & humidity, it’s just not going to stay well. I know I saw posts on tumblr about the princesses, and how they hate that their “friends” wear wigs…uhm…you try finding someone with hair like that!

Clearly I was still on my kick of taking photos of the performers rather than the characters, I mean, they deserve some credit too! While I was doing that, Gepetto thought he needed some love as well, and came right up to the rope and motioned for a “self portrait” photo (I used to always call them myspace photos, but that seems to be a thing of the past now haha), so I attempted to quickly take one, but forgot to zoom out, and this was the result!

Also can we talk about the awesomeness of how they blended the songs in this parade, like, one minute they’re doing Whistle While You Work, and the next, it’s Prince Ali, but it doesn’t sound crazy weird!

A practically Perfect Nanny! I really do wish we saw more of her out and about, and BERT. They do this adorable little dance show in front of the castle in DLR and I wish we saw it in WDW….

This was the best picture I could get of Wendy, and I was really sad, as she looks a lot like a certain friend of Ariel’s, who has a pet squail. Now, from what I thought, Wendy & Alice were in a shorter height range than the princesses, but maybe you could do one contract on one height, and then when you’re re-hired on a different height? Or maybe Wendy & Alice go taller than the pixies? (ETA: They've recently made the height for Alice higher, so I'm going to assume that her & Wendy go up to 5'4''...) I have no idea, but if you read the December TR of mine, this is that Ariel….and it looks a LOT like her…who knows…

I had never really noticed this before, but the Tremaines are the people to watch during the parade, they’re doing the choreography, but clearly don’t want to be doing it, and are doing it half-ly, and it’s just hilarious. Anastasia was also eyeing a guy watching and was shouting to him the entire block. Hilarity!

It would be BEYOND fun to hang out with these girls!

I know it’s not a picture from the front, but I LOVE the hair, seriously Aurora’s got some pretty awesome hair!

And of course, to finish off, I was excited to see my favourite Naveen jamming out to the music beside Tiana. Definitely got all the right moves haha!

I love that parade. It's seriously the only one I'll wait to watch. I like the wigs on the performers, but I guess I'd feel differently if I were wearing one. It must be hard for you to hear complaints from the characters friends. I'm sure you're sitting there thinking "I'd never complain about anything if only I could do it!". The Tremaines are such a hoot. I love them in every situation.

I do wish that there was a bit more variety in character M&Gs but mostly at DHS. Seriously, a Pixar character meal over there would be sold out in minutes! I'll bet they could do it at HBD for breakfast. Or even replace the Disney Jr one at H&V. I mean, Maddie likes it, but she'd be happier with the Pixar gang for sure.

Speaking of M&Gs I am so disappointed that Belle is only out at Epcot now. I've even heard that she's no longer at CRT. I was just getting used to the idea of no more Prince Eric, and now this. Those were the 2 best characters consistently over our last 2 trips. So sad.

Have you heard much about some new FP limit? I heard it alluded to on another thread, and I know nothing about it. Something about a limit of 3 per day and it having to do with FP+??

It would definitely be awesome to see a Pixar character meal! The ones I REALLY want to see are all the princes/male characters, jack sparrow, gaston, etc. AND a Princess & the Frog one,all Louisiana food, have Tiana, Naveen, LOTTIE, Louis, etc, it'd be great!

We had her at CRT in Sept! I'm not sure what's going on with meals, but I think they're trying to juggle things around a bit, especially with the princess room opening later this year, balance things out. UGH DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON PRINCE ERIC. I love him, I mean, they put Gaston out in place of him, so I'm cool with that, but with Fairytale hall opening, Tiana will move in there, and that means NO MORE PRINCE NAVEEN!!! I AM NOT OKAY WITH THIS!!

I haven't heard anything about the fp limit, I haven't been paying attention to much of it, haha

Oh I know!! Mine would not be able to withstand an entire parade, and if I had to have princess hair for a whole day it'd be fried from the re-styling halfway through the day!!

I never actually really saw all of it but it looked adorable, and I really do wish Mary & Bert had more stuff in WDW

SO MUCH FUN!! I'm pretty sure they run taller than the princesses, or at least on the tall end, I wanna say 5'4'' to 5'8''?? I really have no idea, but honestly, I've only seen like, 3 different friends of Anastasia and 2 or 3 of Drizella, not much variety as they don't need them that much haha, but it would be so much fun!

With the parade over, and pretty much everything accomplished in Magic Kingdom, Mom and I headed back over to Fantasyland to do a couple of things we had skipped that morning, mainly, Phillharmagic! There was this odd band out front, it wasn’t the Phillharmonic, from what I remember they were dressed like the Dapper Dans, but in different colors, or slightly different outfits or something. We headed inside, and the wait was under 5 minutes! (It’s usually pretty quick)

I absolutely LOVE this attraction, and Mom liked it too, seriously though, I can’t go to Disney and not watch this, it’s got music and bits from some of my favorite movies, and I mean, it’s Donald, getting into his usual shenanigans, hilarious! With that over and done with, we still had some time to kill before dinner, and it was just WAY too early to check in, so we headed back over to Adventureland to meet some characters again! Where were we headed, why, Pixie Hollow of course!

Okay, I know it’s actually called “Tinkerbell’s Magical Nook” but I will forever refer to it as Pixie Hollow, it’s just cuter! While we waited in line, we noticed a little Pirate in front of us and made sure to get a picture of him being all pirate-y!

It wasn’t a very long time before we were in to see Periwinkle & Tinkerbell again! Yay! I did notice there were a lot of people in line asking which other fairy would be in there, and that they were hoping to see someone like Irdressa or Silvermist….uhm,…..that’s really unlikely. Sometimes it just surprises me how little some people know about Disney trips, whether it be characters or not, it’s just surprising to me that they wouldn’t know Peri was out for good (at least for a while) now.

Tink was to sign a post card for a friend of mine back home, and she definitely liked that the cards had “pixie dust” on them! I made a good choice, she also commented on my leaves for the day, but otherwise wasn’t too chatty or rememberable, but still good!

Since we had already seen the fairies on our first day, Mom wasn’t in on the pictures, and I was also using the photopass only, minus some Iphone pics with Peri to send to said friend that I was sending the postcard to. See, Sharla and I both worked at the dinner theatre during the POTC spoof we did, and she played Tinkerbell, and I played “Teensie Bell”, Tink’s little sister, I looked a lot more like Rosetta though haha. So now that Peri’s been introduced I had tweeted at Shar that Tink had a sister, and then got some pics that I could tweet at her afterwards!

I had only meant for Tink to sign the card, but she left room for her sister, so I had both of them sign it after all. I was also surprised to meet yet another Peri, it wasn’t the same one as a few days prior, which was odd to me as she was such a new character I didn’t think she’d have that many friends yet haha.

Clearly us Pixies like to talk a lot! Haha!

After a hug and good bye, we left pixie hollow, with a couple of more stops before we would make it to dinner.

I’m going to jump in here because it fits haha, I bough Secret of the Wings the other day, it’s the only Tink movie I’ve actually bought, I’ve just watched the rest online, they’re all super cute and fun, and I actually really liked this one. Obviously I’m partial to Peri, she’s just so dang cute, and the fact that she’s from the winter woods, I mean, Canada is pretty much the winter woods! Haha, it’s a cute movie, I do suggest checking it out!

Since Mom and I were on a character roll, we headed over to….well…we’re in Magic Kingdom…It’s after the parade….we know who’s there….Liberty Square of course! Tiana & Naveen weren’t currently out, but we jumped in line to meet them, and were among the first of the line. It was a bit of a wait, I think we ended up waiting around an hour, but it was a nice break, and we were in the shade for a bit, so we both appreciated it. The photopass guy came out a little early and was doing some Magic shots with people around the area, mostly those in line, to help kill time.

We (mostly Mom) also chatted with the family behind us, who was from Montreal, and had a little Princess with them. Clearly it had been a long day, as the Princess wasn’t too co-operative at points, and ended up sulking over in the corner, and didn’t want her parents taking any more pictures.

But seriously, it’s okay, because kids of all ages get like that…

Bahaha. While I was sitting up on the wall, this little guy came out to play.

And I was really hoping that he wasn’t going to run anywhere near me…and he got pretty close. I’m pretty sure I got off the wall somewhere around that time. Ha! Before long Tiana & Naveen came out, and right away started greeting people, signing autographs and giving out hugs.

We chatted for a bit, he asked when I left, and I said that I wasn’t leaving til the 21st, I had a friend coming in, and Mom was leaving on the 17th. We chatted a bit about the plans I had, and he asked when I would be back in MK, and I laid out the days that we had planned there, and for a couple of them he was all “I’ll be here then!” And after a very sharp and quick look from Tiana he quickly changed it to “I mean, of course I’ll be here, I’m here every day, but I’ll definitely be here that day” Ha! So close.

Somewhere in there we got talking about clothing, and wearing the same thing every day, and Naveen started talking about how he did laundry every day, otherwise he’d get really smelly, well, he doesn’t actually do it, but Tiana does it, and he does hers…which is why you see so many little girls running around the park in her dress, he’s not very good at doing laundry. Ha!

We got out picture, and I waved good bye and Naveen shouted “I miss you already!” as we left the meet and greet area. *le sigh* another great meet and greet with them, it’s never bad, heck, it’s never even mediocre, it’s always an adventure in New Orleans!

As we walked away from the meet & greet, we saw that the photopass photographer that was hanging out over there didn’t have a whole lot to do, so we got some done in front of the castle!
