With Mom and I headed into Adventureland, where else would we be headin but down to the depths of the Caribbean?!
Awesome costumes, seriously, I love the POTC costumes. Pirates had just been refurb-ed, and was just re-opened when we were in DLR, so Mom had never been on it as of yet, yay! New things to try! We headed down the cue on the left hand side and got into our boat relatively quickly!!
Now, all of these pics were taken with my Iphone, without flash, so I cant say that theyre the greatest quality, I also have edited some of them, but that was on photobucket, so I cant say that they were edited really well either. Bahah!
We wants a Red Head! One of my favorite parts of the ride dont know why, Im weird! Lawl. Something I noticed during this ride was that the strobes in the very first scene werent working! There was nothing but wind, darkness and dead men tell no tales stuff. Booooo.
Im always so wary going under this bridge, its not that theres a gross foot over top the boat, its more that I have this image of the foot/pirate falling off the bridge and onto me/into the boat, thus, scaring the bajeebas out of me!
Now we certainly had heard our fair share of Disney rumours on this trip, rumous about all sorts of things, and most of them only things that cast members would really know, and of course, they like to spread things sometimes, it makes it funny. But one we heard was that Johnny Depp himself likes to come into the POTC when hes in the Orlando area, dress up as Jack and just sit in the chair and pretend that hes the animatronic .Im not sure if I believe that or not hahah! Who knows?!
Mom and I exited the ride after a little bit of playing around in the gift shop. I always want to buy all of the things inside that store, but hold back and I dont think Ive actually bought anything weird
Now it was time to ask ourselves if we were really ready to be pirates!! Captain Jacks Tutorial was going on just as we were finishing up in the gift shop, and it looked like it had just started! Yay!
Well, if youre asking me to join Jacks crew
Id probably volunteer pretty quickly! Ha! I have this love of Pirates, all things pirate (minus...you know the scurvy .) So Id love to join a pirate crew at some point or another and having it be Cap Jacks? Doesnt hurt!
I hadnt actually ever seen this little show, guess Ive always been to focused on other things, or Im walking by and its already far too far into progress and theres no point in stopping to watch? I dunno, but Ive never watched it in full before, and its just super awesome. I mean, theres so many chances for people to be princesses and such, they need stuff like Pirates and Jedis to keep everyone entertained!
For those of you who dont know, theyll pick volunteers from the audience (I say that because Im sure theyre pre-picked before Jack actually gets out there). Theyre given a sword and a little spiel & fight to do, but in this case, at the end, youre instructed to say Look! Blackbeards daughter and then run away. Ha! Cuuuute.
There was quite a variety of kids of all ages, and there was one really little one who was just adorable! Obviously theres also a lot of kids who were in the Pirates League earlier who manage to get into the show. At the end they all do an oath and get a scroll from Jack as well. I also just think its nice to get to see Jack in the parks! Obviously, hes out for parties, but I really dont get why hes not out that often!
While Mom & I continued over into the Agrabah area of Adventureland, we noticed that Jasmine and Aladdins line was already closed, boo!
However we had already met them over in Epcot, and I was okay with skipping them, I did have a little bit more time in MK this trip (HA!) So we continued on over to my favorite Princesss line!
