You guys are going to think I'm crazy!

I know I posted about this last year around Christmas time but it's happening again. The ghost in my store is back!!

Last year a few of my employees actually saw "her". I didn't see her recently but had something creepy happen.

I get to work about an hour before anyone else. I keep the lights in the store off to save electricity since most of the time I'm just working in my office in the morning.

It was about 45 minutes before anyone else was due to work - and I was the only one with a key that morning - and I heard the windchimes rattling on the rack in the middle of the store. Thinking someone off schedule had come in to pick something up, I walked into the store and said "Hello?" No answer.

I walked back to my office and heard the chimes again (now these are big heavy tubular chimes, not the kind that would ratlle because of airconditioning - not that they were anywhere near a vent anyway) I walked back out and said "Hello?" again a couple of times. No one answers.

I walked further into the store, looked at the chime rack and at that time the chimes started ringing again - when I saw the rack it freaked me out. It was like someone was walking by it and took their hand and ran it over the chimes. First one would ring, then another, then another.... like someone was there doing it, but there was nobody there!

Guess our "ghost" likes to hang around with us at Christmas time! Wish I could have seen her like some of my other employees have - she sounds pretty cool!

That is so cool! Is your store built on anything with a historical past? Maybe a store or home was built where your store is now?

If it ever happens again, it might be interesting to stop the chimes, ring them yourself, stop them again and see what happens. You may be able to "communicate".

When I worked at the same mall, people in my store (including me once) actually saw "her" and yes, she is a she. The one in our store (I won't assume it's the same one, but it probably is) wears a long gray or brown coat. Things fall over for no reason (they weren't left precariously arranged and nobody's close to them) and our lights have flashed on and off before. It was definitely freaky but I wasn't really scared the way I always thought that I would be when I was younger.

Becki.. the one that was "sighted" in our store wears a long, floor length white nightgown and has long white hair.

For some reason I'm not afraid in the least of whatever that was. I know my employees refused to be alone in the store or go to the stockroom alone for a few days after seeing her the first time. Especially since the customers couldn't see her - only the employees.
