"You Guys Are Cast Members... Right?" - A December 2011 TR

She probably thought you guys were CMs because you were all young, together, and happy to be there. :) I met a pair of girls on their CP while I was down there; they were hanging out and having the greatest time just waiting for Illuminations to start. They were definitely having a ball - maybe she thought you guys were with the CP!

But that is ONE BIG SUNDAE. Beach Club is my newest dream resort - I'd like to stay there in September but as DBF says "let's see what Santy Claus brings us". I hope he brings us a stay at Beach Club!!

Ahhh, BC is a favorite of ours. We stayed there once and we love the BC "smell." I don't know if you could tell since it had all of that gingerbread and chocolate goodness in the lobby, but typically there is a distinct smell there. :cloud9:

Never tried the kitchen sink before and we are tossing around the idea of getting it our next trip since it will be with a much bigger group, but that looks insane!!!

:lmao: That looks absolutely fantastically ridiculous!!! I think you guys gave it an awesome attempt (and for only $4.80 each, how could you go wrong???)!!!

Isn't the Beach Club so gorgeous??? I love that whole area :cloud9:.

Holy Ice Cream Batman! I would have OD'd if I tried to each that much!:rotfl2:

I think it was a hug compliment to be mistakenly thought to be a CM! You have to be fun.

Oh my :scared1:, the Kitchen Sink is huge!

I'm embarrassed to say this, but I've never actually been to Beaches and Cream -- but one of these years, I'll get there!

As for the server thinking that you all were CM's, that's awesome!

-- Dave

HAHAHA laughing fit. :rotfl2: That's awesome. I feel like that was probably a fantastic moment.

THE BEACH CLUB IS MY DREAM RESORT TOO! I have never stayed there. I have wanted to since I was in like 5th or 6th grade and it just hasn't happened yet! (I'm sure it will within the next few years! I am making it a priority hehe :p)

Make a note to try Cape May for dinner sometime. It's AMAZING. I will do a review of that in my trip report (but who knows how long it will take me to get there. :rotfl:) But trust me - it's SO FREAKING GOOD.

AWW you guys must have looked like a group of CP kids! I see those all over the place all of the time - it's awesome that she thought you guys worked there!! The College Program CM's always "play" in the parks/explore the resorts whenever they have time off. I could imagine CP's would go to B&C all of the time because it's SO good and it's not super duper expensive!

Holy Canoli the KITCHEN SINK. I need to try that someday when I go with enough people. It is the most beautiful creation I have ever seen.

Fabulous update - you were right! I loved it! :goodvibes

It definitely was! I love it when something random like that happens!

Oh my gosh, I hope we both get to stay there soon! I want to SO BADLY! I told my mom this morning that "I was looking at pictures from my trip so this IS KINDA RANDOM (yeah right) and I REALLY WANT TO STAY AT THE BEACH CLUB! Hint hint wink wink nudge nudge." Hahaha. It's planted into her brain, for sure.

Oh, okay! Yeah, I used to hear that it was just a clam bake so I was like, yeah no. But when we passed it, I did notice that it smelled realllllly good... so I may have to change my mind! I'll be looking forward to your dinner review! Is that the place where you tweeted about OREO BON BONS? hahaha

Yeah, I think you must be right! I was very flattered because I was like listen Herlina, you have no idea how much I would love to be a CM! Hahah.

HOLY CANOLI! :lmao: You really need to do it! If we ever do the big girls of the Dis dancing to Innoventions loop trip, we will HAVE to conquer that thing!

I'm glad you liked it! Haha I figured you would because I remembered you saying your favorite food was ice cream, hahah. :goodvibes

I guessed it right that y'all were going to Beach Club to go eat at Beaches & Cream! Do I win a prize? :lmao:

We are planning to eat there one night on our next trip & I can't wait! Although, I don't think we'll be attempting to conquer the Kitchen Sink. I think we're going to try the No Way Jose sundae.

Y'all definitely accomplished a lot in the park! I agree with you - the best days to go to MK are on party days. That'll be my plan for Deember! :thumbsup2

It's hard NOT to laugh when someone (stranger or not) gets into a laughing fit! That's cute that the lady & her husband were having such a fun time! :goodvibes

Well dang, you should win a prize! Good job!

Oh you SHOULD eat there! I mean, I just got a salad, but it was good and everyone seemed to like their food! I don't blame your for skipping the sink! No Way Jose sounds DELICIOUS. I'm a huge peanut butter chocolate fan! YUMMY.

Definitely! Yall will get so much accomplished!

Oh I totally agree! Laughter is definitely contagious because we couldn't stop, and that made HER laugh more!

Yay the Beach Club!!! I love it there! Every time I go there, I want to stay there again! Isn't the carousel so pretty? I just can't believe they make that thing out of gingerbread!

Yum I love Beaches and Cream! The kitchen sink looks crazy! If I ever go with a group of people, I'd love to try it! I don't really like that they announce it to the whole restaurant, though! :rotfl:

Beach Club DEFINITELY deserves a yay!!! I cannot wait to stay there someday. Oh my goodness the carousel was gorgeous. That must take forever and a day to make! It's so detailed.

Beaches and Cream was so cute and yes, the sink IS crazy. Hot dang. I would definitely suggest doing it at least once with a big group! It was a lot of fun! Yeah, it was a little awkward because there was this one family STARING at us, but they were nice and wished us luck haha.

Another Beach Club fan here. :cool2: We have never stayed there, but we visit regularly. So pretty!
You will love your Cape May breakfast. One of our best ever - great food and fun characters.

Ahh, the Beach Club is the best!

Aw, that's great! I'm definitely planning to go if we ever stay there because it's just so convenient! I love that the characters are wearing beach attire too, it's so cute. :goodvibes

Love love love the Beach Club. And I love Beaches and Cream. On my February trip, my brother and I ate there twice because it was so yummy.

I don't know, when I saw that kitchen sink, all I could think about was Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. "Ziggy piggy, ziggy piggy!" :lmao:

Ahh I know! It's perfect. Beaches and Cream was really good, and the prices aren't bad as far as Disney food goes! I don't blame you and your brother for eating there twice!

:rotfl2:

Oh. My. Goodness! I'm pretty sure I just licked my computer screen!! That looks soooo amazing!!!!! Ok, that one's on the list for next time! I love the BC too! I really want to stay there someday!! The pool is amazing!! :thumbsup2 That Gingerbread House looks so delish!! I wish I could visit during Christmas! Oh, and that is HILARIOUS about that woman on the bus!!! I would have DIED laughing!!!!! :lmao: And that is awesome about the waitress! I would have loved to be mistaken as a CM!! :goodvibes

HAHAH! :rotfl: I bet it didn't taste very good! The ice cream, however, was SO good. I hope you have enough people to go in on it with because it's definitely worth it to try at least once! Oh my gosh, I want to stay at the Beach Club SO BADLY! (Have I said that already? Hahah... PROBABLY.) I can't believe I didn't get any pictures of the pool. I was probably too mesmerized! It's so amazing. The lady on the bus had us CRACKING UP! It was definitely a fun bus ride! Oh I know! I took it as a compliment because I'd love to be a CM!

HAHAHA!!! Oh my gosh, that lady.... It was so funny! Poor Ryan was crying because he was laughing so hard. Beach Club's on my list too. One day! That pool was pretty cool looking. I was so happy that they were playing The Muppet's Christmas Carol! I seriously love that movie and can watch it any time of year. Beaches N' Cream = legit! So glad we tried it and the Kitchen Sink! Thanks Samantha Brown :) (my hero!) I think that video should go up just for fun sometime.

That was hilarious! Ummm so yeah, I'm trying really hard to convince my mom that we need to go for her birthday and stay there. I don't think she's buying it so far. ALSO, for our next trip (IT'S AN ANNUAL THING) we should stay at POFQ! Seriously. Let's talk about it. Okay cool. :cool2:
Did you just say that pool was PRETTY cool? I think you would have felt different in the daylight, that thing is EPIC! We were definitely excited about Muppet Christmas Carol haha. Wasn't it at the beginning when we saw it? Samantha Brown, what a lady. YES, (now that I know what video you are talking about) you're right, I should put that up on here. We're funny.

:lmao: I know, that made me laugh too!

She probably thought you guys were CMs because you were all young, together, and happy to be there. :) I met a pair of girls on their CP while I was down there; they were hanging out and having the greatest time just waiting for Illuminations to start. Aw that sounds so cute. I think you're right! I took it as a compliment for sure! :goodvibes

Haha, you're right about that. It was MASSIVE. I was honestly afraid. Yeah, Beach Club is just everything I want in a resort. I'm in love, pretty much. I hope you get to stay there in September! That would be so awesome. Hahaha, I hope Santy treats you well! :thumbsup2

Aww, yeah, it's amazing! I'm so jealous that you've stayed there, that's awesome! Oh, no, I didn't notice a smell! It just smelled like gingerbread and chocolate, which was spectacular! However I would love to know what the Beach Club smell normally is... another reason to want to stay there!

:lmao: That looks absolutely fantastically ridiculous!!! I think you guys gave it an awesome attempt (and for only $4.80 each, how could you go wrong???)!!!

Isn't the Beach Club so gorgeous??? I love that whole area :cloud9:.

You pretty much summed it up! It was absolutely fantastically ridiculous! :rotfl: Hahah we definitely tried, but we needed a few more people to conquer that thing!

Oh gosh, it definitely is. I just loved the atmosphere of it all- looking out across the lake and seeing the Boardwalk and the Swan and Dolphin. It was perfect! Ahh, heavenly.

Holy Ice Cream Batman! I would have OD'd if I tried to each that much!:rotfl2:

I think it was a hug compliment to be mistakenly thought to be a CM! You have to be fun.

Hahaha! You are too funny. I think if we would have eaten any more, we would have all OD'd! :lmao:

I know! I was so flattered. Like, if only Herlina KNEW how much I wanted to be a CM! I was so excited!

Oh my :scared1:, the Kitchen Sink is huge!

I'm embarrassed to say this, but I've never actually been to Beaches and Cream -- but one of these years, I'll get there!

Hahaha, you're right about that! I was pretty scared myself!

Listen, no reason to be embarrassed! That was my first time at the Beach Club itself! You should definitely go there some day, it's really good and the price isn't bad at all, as far as Disney food goes!

I agree! I was so flattered. :goodvibes

First, I have to say you got an amazing picture of the Boardwalk. Gorgeous! :goodvibes Ahh I can't wait to stay there in April-I have a feeling I'll be taking tons of pictures.

You guys sure put a nice dent in that kitchen sink! It would be fun to try and eat one of those with a big group of people. Looks yummy!

OH thank you! My camera is a silly little thing. Sometimes it gives me these amazing pics and other times it pretends it doesn't know how to take pics at all. Oh gosh I hope you do take a lot of pictures. I bet you're SO excited!!!

Oh yeah, if you ever try one, make sure you have a big enough group! Our group of five couldn't even finish it! I could never be one of those people who tries to do the whole thing by themselves... I'm not lookin for death by ice cream over here, ya know? hahaha

Came across your TR yesterday and finished today. I am really enjoying your very first TR.
I miss being there as it's been just over 2 years. Living on the west coast makes it so much harder. I want to be a cast member too. The closest I will get is applying to the Disney store at the mall. I am going to try that by the way.lol

That sounds like such a fun bus ride! Everyone must have been a little slap happy from the amount of pixie dust you all brought in with you :thumbsup2

I KNEW IT! It is such an amazing resort! We have stayed there and it definitely lived up to all of the hype!

I love the horse with the Castle on it!

I love that they put lots of enthusiasm, energy and talent as one of the ingredients :)

You need a Cape May breakfast even if you aren't staying there! Seriously one of my favorite character breakfasts!

Omg A Muppet Christmas Carol being shown on the beach at the Beach Club?! That would make my life! I love that movie and that would just be heavenly :cloud9:

O my Walt! That kitchen sink looks so good! I have never been there with enough people though and I am pretty sure even if I hadn't eaten for days I couldn't finish it

Sounds like you had a great dinner! Being mistaken for a CM and having awesome food it just doesn't get better than that!

Some fun facts for ya! Hahah yes, you should definitely do both of those things next time! Little things like that really add to the experience for sure. :goodvibes Also, you should know that Tigger isn't the only one that hides out behind the honey!

hey, remember when I said I didn't know about the characters behind the honey? I was telling my daughter about that and she was like "I know! I saw one!" I was so excited. She said it was Rabbit. Why didn't she tell me? Because I was saying we had to keep moving! sigh.

Aww, I'm sorry! Do you get to visit Disneyland? Hahaha, I know, I think being a CM would just be the best job ever. Oh my gosh you should totally apply at the Disney store! :rotfl: They closed all the Disney stores around here! :(
Thank you SO much for reading and commenting! I hope you continue to enjoy it! :goodvibes

That sounds like such a fun bus ride! Everyone must have been a little slap happy from the amount of pixie dust you all brought in with you :thumbsup2

It was so much fun. HAHAHA yes. That was definitely it! We're magical, what can I say. :wizard:

I KNEW IT! It is such an amazing resort! We have stayed there and it definitely lived up to all of the hype!

I know! You definitely guessed right. Oh my gosh you're so lucky that you got to stay there! I'm definitely jealous. I will stay there one day, mark my words! hahah

I love the horse with the Castle on it!

I loved that too! All the details were incredible.

I love that they put lots of enthusiasm, energy and talent as one of the ingredients :)

I agree, it's adorable. :cutie:

You need a Cape May breakfast even if you aren't staying there! Seriously one of my favorite character breakfasts!

Oh really? That's awesome! If (GOD FORBID) I don't get to stay there next trip, I'll definitely try to eat there anyway. That way I'd get to visit too! WIN WIN. :thumbsup2

Omg A Muppet Christmas Carol being shown on the beach at the Beach Club?! That would make my life! I love that movie and that would just be heavenly :cloud9:

Hahaha. I know right? It was awesome. If we hadn't been there to eat dinner, I totally would have just sat down and watched it.

O my Walt! That kitchen sink looks so good! I have never been there with enough people though and I am pretty sure even if I hadn't eaten for days I couldn't finish it

OH MY WALT!!! HAHAHA that is perfect. It was SO good. Oh gosh I know, even the five of us were like, okay, no more haha. I believe you need at least eight people to conquer that thing.

Sounds like you had a great dinner! Being mistaken for a CM and having awesome food it just doesn't get better than that!

It was great! We had a lot of fun. And I'm not gonna lie I LOVED that she thought we were CMs! LIFE GOAL hahaha.

once I got to swim at stormalong bay. it was awesome!

Oh that's so awesome! Lucky duck. :goodvibes

HAHAHA, NO WAY!!! That's too funny. She's like, whatever mom, I knew all about that. Aww, well next time yall can have a lot of fun with that!

The One Where We Don't Know Our Room Number

December 14, 2011

I’m going to apologize in advance, because this update will have a severe lack of pictures. I’ll try to make up for that with wit, charm, and smilies. :rotfl:- off to a good start already, right? :thumbsup2 (Seriously. Yall are probably gonna get sick of all the smilies.)

As we were (NOT EVEN CLOSE TO) finishing our month’s worth of dessert, we heard a familiar laugh. IT WAS THE LAUGHING LADY FROM THE BUS! :rotfl2: Obviously, she had FOLLOWED us. (Obviously not.)

When we were finished paying, we made our way back through the perfect Beach Club and out to the bus stops.

Our original goal was to have dinner, then head into Epcot to see IllumiNations. Well, considering we ate enough to fill a bathtub, (err… sink) it took us quite a while! IllumiNations starts at 9:30 in December because of the Candlelight Processional, and it had already started when we were still inside Beaches and Cream.

We walked out of the lobby to go catch a bus. While we were walking we heard… “BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!”

We look to the right, and BAM! IllumiNations! :dance3:

Then we heard a much softer… “bang! bang! bang!”

We look to the left, and TA-DA! HOLIDAY WISHES. :santa:

I was in total AWE. It just solidified in my mind that I NEED to stay at the Beach Club. There’s no question about it.

I wish I could have taken pictures or a video or something, but we couldn’t stop for long! Our bus was waiting for us! We got on the bus and went to the very back. Where were we heading?

Downtown Disney! :yay:

The bus started heading toward the Boardwalk Inn to pick up another load of people. Then we heard… “BOOM BOOM BAM BOOM BANG POP POW BANG BOOM KACHOW!”

Out the window, we had a VERY clear view of the holiday finale of IllumiNations! I’ll get to the real thing later, but even on the bus I felt emotional. I wasn’t even hearing the music. I was just SO happy. It had been such a great first day and it wasn’t even quite over yet! :cloud9:

A good while after the fireworks had ended, I was still looking out the window, and I spotted the moon. It was huge, orange, and it looked like God had taken a spoon and just scooped the bottom out. I thought it was basically the coolest thing ever, and I yelled, “Look at the MOON!”

I think everyone that knew me was a teeeeeny bit embarrassed. What can I say, I’m in the 5-7 age range. No biggie. :rolleyes1

Once we finally got to Downtown Disney, we got off at the Marketplace bus stop. Sally was on a mission. She was going to the Lego store to get a Christmas present for someone. She looked at the map and basically TOOK OFF. I was under the impression that we were all following her, so I started walking behind her. She was basically speed-walking, while I was taking in the sights. At one point, I turned around to say something to the rest of the group. OH. OKAY. They were gone. Well, that’s cool. I knew where the Lego store was, but I didn’t know how busy it might be. I really wasn’t all that interested in going in there, either.

I sat down on a brick ledge in front of the Ghiradelli store. Even though I was stuffed to the BRIM, I couldn’t help but notice how amazing it smelled. I got out my phone and called Amanda, and asked her what happened and how they pulled off that disappearing act so well. She said they had gone into the Disney Days of Christmas store. THANKS FOR THE HEADS UP, YALL! :sad2:

Well, I didn’t really care to go in there either. I had been in there before and on this trip, I wasn’t really looking to get any Christmassy souvenirs. So what did I do? I went into the World of Disney!

OH LOOK, A PICTURE!!!!!!!!!!

SDC12235.jpg

Sorry it’s awful. My camera + dark = not gonna happen. (Unless I get really lucky. It’s rare.)

Before I left on this trip, I had a mental list of stuff that I really wanted to get. What better place to start than at the biggest Disney store in the world, right? I walked in, grabbed a little basket, and promptly got lost. That store is ginormous and this was only the second time I’d been to it. I had no idea where to start!

I saw the “PHOTOS AND MEMORIES” section, or whatever it may be called, (I at least know that it’s called Photos and Memories on Disneystore.com :rotfl:) and figured I should start there! I have a tradition of getting a photo album with the year on it on my trips. So far my collection is two photo albums from 2010. SUCH VARIETY. Anyways, I was obviously looking for the 2011 version.

Well, too bad, basically. They only had 2012 in stock! This would not do! I was a little annoyed because it was only December 14. There was still a good two weeks left of the year! So, I had to nix that idea for the time being.

I saw a shirt that I had been eyeing for who knows how long, so I picked it up and put it in my basket! Then I saw this adorable Christmas crewneck sweatshirt that I just loved. I wasn’t planning on it, but I really wanted it anyway. They only had a small and an extra extra large, so, that wasn’t going to do! (Oh well, maybe I found it somewhere else…)

The store was completely packed. Also, it was about 173 degrees in there. I think they had the heat on, even though it was warm out. The heat plus all the the millions of people everywhere made it extremely uncomfortable. There were also a lot of people pushing past me and cutting in front of me and basically pretending I didn’t exist.

I decided that it was too early to buy souvenirs. Hahaha I was not having it in there any longer. I basically dropped my basket and peaced on out of there. :cool2:

I didn’t really know where to go next. Then it suddenly occurred to me that I hadn’t even been into our room yet at the resort! I decided that since I was already by myself, that I’d just walk back to the bus stop and head back to All Star Sports. It was after 11 at this point and I had a lot to do to get settled!

The bus stop area was packed with people, but luckily I was able to make it onto an All Star bus right away!

So you all know how when you’re on the bus at night, the bus drivers turn off the lights? Well, for some reason this bus driver didn’t. It was SO bright. It was weird. :confused3

On the way back to the resort I had another brilliant thought: I didn’t even know which room number we were in! I texted the rest of the group to ask, and they told me to ask the front desk because they had forgotten! HAHAH.

Once I got back to Sports, I went to the front desk. The CM was nice and understanding and gave me the room number (3256) and a little map.

At this point it was about 11:55, and the food court was closing at midnight. I had wanted to get a new refillable mug, so I hurried over and picked out a purple one, (All Star Sports has different colors than all the other resorts) purchased it, washed it, and filled it up with ice water. I pretty much need water 24/7 to survive.

This isn’t from that night, but here is the mug! I’m so sorry about the picture-less-ness of this update. I hope none of you are bored to tears.

SDC12409.jpg

I went off in search of Building 3. You'd think that Building 3 would be close to the front, wouldn't you? Hahaha well, it really wasn't. It didn't matter though. I was excited to be able to see more of Sports for the first time that night! It was actually a lot cuter than I thought it would be! Soon enough, I found Building 3. Our room was on the second floor, so I went up the stairs and walked around until I found the sign telling me which way to go!

After I found our room, I started to get my stuff settled, and decided to get a shower in before everyone else got back! But before I could do any of that, I HAD TO TURN ON RESORT TV. Stacey had been calling my name! Plus, there is a person in my group (WHO SHALL REMAIN NAMELESS, I don’t want him/her to receive any death threats or strongly worded letters of disapproval) who does not like Stacey. He/she thinks that Stacey is annoying. I KNOW. (Those of you who are Friends fans, I hope you read that the way Monica would say it!)

Also, I took a couple pictures. Diser instinct, I guess.

SDC10566.jpg

Kristen and Ryan came back while I was in the shower, and Sally and Amanda followed soon after that. We all got ready and settled down, and when all was said and done, we were in bed by about 1:30.

It had been an AMAZING first day! We got to do so much more than I thought we would! This made me extremely optimistic for the rest of our trip. I couldn’t wait for what tomorrow would bring! :woohoo:

Continued in Next Update

Hey, I'm all caught up now! Woohoo! :cheer2:

I agree... in the name of everything classic in the entire world, I love Small World. As Stacey would say, it's CA-LASS-IC. Sigh. I really hate not being at Disney. ugh.

Yay for finally getting to go on the Pooh ride! Do you know about Mr. Toad handing over the deed? I finally spotted it on our last trip.

So jealous you got pixie dusted, that is so awesome! pixiedust:

OMG I miss that version of the must dos. I used to say "TRIPLE. MOUNTAIN. WHAMMY!" all the time. The Splash wait was 5 minutes a lot during our trip (which was right before yours if you remember) even when it wasn't cold. I guess people just don't wanna chance being soaked and having the wind kick up, which happened quite a few times.

It sounds like you had a lot of fun on the Astro Orbiter... can you believe I've never been on that ride? It's the only attraction at the Magic Kingdom that I haven't done besides Tom Sawyer Island.

Ahhhh I can totally smell that gingerbread at the Beach Club right now. OK now I am getting really sad WHY AM I NOT AT DISNEY. Oh man.

BEACHES AND CREAM!!! Oh my do I love it there. And I have the same pen as you and mine is broken as well! I have been wanting to get the Kitchen Sink for like, almost 10 years now, but I'm never with a big enough group.

HAHAHAHA I *always* read "I KNOW" in Monica's voice. and I say it that way myself too. I mean, how could I not? I also do Ross' depressing "hi".

It sounds like you had such a great first day! I can't wait to read about the rest of your trip. :yay:

Isn't that awesome that you can see Wishes from that area too? One time we were all watching Illuminations from the African Outpost area, and we were able to watch both Wishes and Illuminations at the same time :thumbsup2.

That's too funny that you pointed out the moon. I'm ALWAYS doing that to Wingnut, like "look at that beautiful sky!" "check out that cloud!". He's never THAT impressed. :sad2:

World of Disney is SO overwhelming, I truly can only be in there in random off-times (like late morning) when it isn't packed. Even when it's empty, I think it's just crowded-feeling.

Oh, and is it strange that I think it's slightly funny that the two beds share a headboard in your room? It just looks weird to me!

Great 1st day! Y'all definitely got a lot accomplished! :thumbsup2

I love both the Christmas store & World of Disney at DTD. I'm not a big fan of DTD but if we do go, those are the 2 stores I have to go into.

Can't wait to see what adventures y'all had next!

Okay, I'm totally going to catch up! (even though I had to do the thing where I open up every single update I missed in new tabs to try and remember everything and end up with 50 zillion tabs. And I had to laugh at your 'only' updating once a week - if I could manage that, I'd be thrilled! :lmao: Instead I will continue to lose to a snail in speed of updating races).

1) McDonald's is totally nutritious. They have salads, right? Salads = healthy. Nutritious!! That ToT billboard has been there forever and I hope they never take it away - it's practically a park icon!!

And you are incredibly lucky to have gotten to see the very photogenic orange monorail. Orange/blue is one of my fave color combos for pictures and brown monorail/dirty white GFlo monorail station cover just can't beat orange monorail/bright blue sky. Even silver is better! Ferry boats are an excellent means of transportation - my boyfriend converted me in our past trip even though we BOTH swore that we would never ride a not-monorail out of Magic Kingdom.

2) I love the word 'queue'. Second only to the German word for line, 'warteschlange' (or waiting snake). Oh those wacky Germans and their compound words!! Though we always choose the snake with less waiting because we are impatient and thus have never seen the new queue for Haunted Mansion.

Mary Blair is a genius and I wish they'd done more movies directly from her concept art because SO PRETTY (also Cinderella's dress is weird and really anachronistic and I just want to fix it especially after drooling over the historic Disney princess series for months. And I like her 'casual' outfit better; I like most of the casual outfits better, especially Ariel's with the navy skirt? I would TOTALLY line up to meet navy-skirt Ariel, but I have weird priorities).

3) Gingerbread carousels are some of my favorite things EVER because what can beat the combination of gingerbread and fancy horses? Nothing! Beach Club is awesome (moreso because of Muppets Christmas Carol, my number one holiday movie ever. I may or may not listen to the soundtrack on a continuous loop throughout November or December).

Beaches and Cream is too cute (even though I'm not a big ~fancy~ ice cream fan, besides the dulche de leche in Mexico. YUM). How nice to be mistaken for CMs! I don't think I could handle working in the parks themselves, day-to-day, but behind the scenes work would be such a killer job (plus I wouldn't get tired (is that a phenomenon? (haha, triple nested parenthesis, I win!)) of the parks from being there too much/interacting with horrible people).

4) We were at DTD the day after you! And you got a purple mug?? I'm so jealous, they didn't have that option at Port Orleans. Truth be told, I kind of find Stacey a little annoying too because it's on continuous loop. There's nothing else you can put on that channel? Someone else to talk?? Anything? (Unless she isn't, in which case our TV was broken so sorry Stacey!)

I love your fancy Mickey towel animal, so much classier than the normal one! :groom:
