"You Guys Are Cast Members... Right?" - A December 2011 TR

I saw the Osborne once. And that light "roof" was my favorite. It felt so magical to walk underneath it.

I also saw Pocahontas with my grandma. I now cherish Pocahontas ;) Such good memories to hold on to.

Your family loks so great! You seem to be a great family! I love the pics. Your smiles made me smile ;)

The One With the World of the Future
Part 1!

Day 3: Friday, December 16, 2011

We woke up on Friday morning around 7:00, ready to take on another wonderful Disney day! I had managed to get at least six hours of sleep, so I was feeling pretty rested!

We went out to the bus stop at about 8:20 and very soon we were boarding a bus to… EPCOT! AWWW YEAH. We were extremely excited to be able to spend time at Epcot, since last night we had only been able to stay for IllumiNations.

The bus ride was not very memorable, because I honestly don’t remember it, but I DO remember what happened AFTER the bus ride. The bus driver decided to drop us off in the middle of this random gravel lot behind all the resort bus stops. Uhh… what? There was no explanation or anything, it was just like, “OKAY HERE WE ARE!” :confused3 I mean, I guess we’re supposed to get off the bus now… I think I see Epcot way off in the distance somewhere…

Yeah, it was odd. I got the feeling that wasn’t the norm. And as many of you frequent value resorters know, it’s already a pretty long haul from the value bus stops to the entrance. WHATEVER THOUGH. The important thing is that we made it to Epcot, and fortunately the bus driver didn’t drop us off at that random location so she could mass murder us or anything. PHEW!

Unfortunately though, it caused us to miss rope drop by literally two minutes. Sad! The good news though is that we were still at Epcot at opening time, which was the basic goal anyway! :woohoo:

The line to get through the turnstiles felt like it took a long time for some reason. It wasn’t extremely crowded, but the lines were all pretty long. BUT THEY WERE PLAYING THE JUMP FIVE VERSION OF ‘WELCOME’ FROM BROTHER BEAR. So I was happy. We danced. (It’s a way of life).

When we got inside, we got to see THESE BEAUTIES… in the daylight!

In 2010, these guys were over by the Christmas tree, so it was cool seeing them at the park entrance!

IMG_5751.jpg

LOOK, IT’S BAMBI, THUMPER, AND FLOWER! How AWESOME is that?! I honestly have no clue why they were out there for Christmas but you will hear no complaints from me! I was really excited to see them because I have been wanting to go to the Flower and Garden Festival for a while now, so seeing these was really cool. I’m glad that Disney lets people who might not have had a chance to go to the festival see the topiaries during other parts of the year! They’re so thoughtful that way. I am just TWITTERPATED AT THE THOUGHT! (Okay, please forgive me, that was quite lame.)

We moved on from admiring those lovely pieces of flowery art and ran into… WHAT’S THIS? A CHARACTER MEET AND GREET? Why, yes, YES IT IS!

It was the most random couple of characters ever, but either way, I was EXCITED. Daisy Duck and Stitch were over to the right of Spaceship Earth, right at the entrance to Epcot! The lines were basically nonexistent so we decided to meet Daisy!

392316_10151077813840177_820575176_22145451_1781645599_n.jpg

Since I know you’re just ITCHING with curiosity, yes, that IS a hole in my shirt. :headache: And yes, it DID grow larger throughout the day.

We got in Stitch’s line for all of 30 seconds, but for some reason we didn’t stay. I felt bad for Stitch. I didn’t want to leave him! Oh well. I’ll meet him next time. (DON’T WORRY STITCH, since I know you were.)

We headed further into Future World with one destination in mind… THE LAND!

HOORAY FOR LAND.

025TheLandSign2.jpg

On our walk over, I was feeling a little bit off. I had a small headache and I was super thirsty. (I am a person who is constantly thirsty. I always need to have water with me wherever I go. The 30 minutes every day after I do my fluoride rinse and I can’t drink water is the longest 30 minutes of my day… that’s how bad it is!) I had run out of water on the way in!

I also have a VERY weak (like, pathetically weak) stomach, so I was feeling a little queasy. But, we also had not eaten breakfast yet, so I figured I just needed some food.

Our destination in The Land Pavilion?

SDC12319.jpg

Duh.

We just got into the standby line. It was around 20 minutes at that point, so it wasn’t bad at all! We got sent into Terminal A, (aka the left side), which I thought was cool because I had only been on the right side before! I’m easily amused, what can you do?

We were going to ask to be in the front, but we didn’t even have to because we automatically got put there for being awesome. HOORAY FOR BEING AWESOME.

The ride was completely wonderful, as always! The concept of that ride always just amazes me. On one of the Disney Parks DVDs, the guy who designed Soarin’ showed the little model of it, and when you look at it that way, it’s just crazy to think about. He said the seats weigh something like 10 tons (I'm probably way off right now, but it's a lot), and that’s WITHOUT people in the seats. It’s all very fascinating stuff!

Want to know the best part? It actually made me feel BETTER! I mean, I said I have a weak stomach, right? That’s no joke. I can get carsick in a parking lot. Plus, I have heard that some people get motion sick on Soarin’... and given the fact that I was already a little queasy, I was worried that it might happen to me this time. NOPE! Thank goodness.

The One With the World of the Future
Part 2!

December 16, 2011

After a wonderful time in (or above) California, we headed out in search of some sustenance. And what better place to look for food in The Land than Sunshine Seasons?

Here’s where I probably made a mistake: I followed the rest of my group to one food station because I thought all the stations had the same stuff for breakfast. OH GOSH. I’m serious. In my defense, I had never been to Sunshine Seasons before, and I didn’t think we’d be eating there, so I didn’t think to research it before the trip. I have since learned that they have breakfast pastries, fruit, yogurt, and a lot of smaller breakfast items, which would have been perfect for me that day! But instead, I ended up with this…

SDC12315.jpg

TOO MUCH FOOD! I asked for no potatoes, so they gave me extra eggs. I would have been fine without the extra eggs, but it was a nice thought! I was most excited about THIS:

SDC12316.jpg

AHH! MY THIRST IS CURED! (SIDENOTE: As I’m writing this, every time I talk about how thirsty I was, I have to take a sip of water so I won’t get thirsty again and relive it. Hahaha I have issues.) I was building a very solid collection of Dasani water bottles at this point. :rotfl:

The food was okay. To be honest, I wasn’t loving it. Sine I had been feeling slightly ill, I didn’t want to eat too much, but since I was clearly too distracted by the awesomeness that is THE LAND to notice that there were other things I could have eaten, this is what I was stuck with. The biscuit was good. The eggs were good, but I had too many! The bacon was practically raw. I’m not even kidding, I feel like they didn’t have the skillet on a high enough temperature or something that morning. I don’t like French toast, so I didn’t eat that. The sausage links were pretty good, but I’m more of a sausage patty fan. (I know I probably sound like the most picky person on Earth right now, but I promise I’m not… I’m probably the third or fourth most picky person on Earth. :rolleyes1)

All in all I wasn’t entirely satisfied with my breakfast, but at least I had something in my stomach to hold me until lunch! After I was finished picking through my breakfast, I took the lovely pictures you’re about to see.

SDC12317.jpg

Apparently I couldn't even center this picture. Wow. They're mailing me the Photographer of the Year Award any day now.

SDC12322.jpg

YES. Sally was coloring! I was jealous. I had not noticed any coloring pages or crayons anywhere!

While we were eating, a bunch of Cast Members came up and sang ‘Happy Birthday’ to Ryan, who was wearing a birthday ear hat (which you will see later). It was cute. RANDOM, but cute. I mean, I love that you can be sitting there eating breakfast at Disney, wearing an ear hat, and someone will sing to you just because.

After breakfast, we decided that since we were there and the wait time was literally zero minutes, we’d go on Living with the Land! Some may think it’s a pretty boring attraction, but I find it so interesting. Maybe I’m just a nerd, but whatever. I also think the glass ceiling in the green house is the coolest ceiling ever.

SDC12327.jpg

Another award winning photo. Dang, I was off my game that morning.

Toward the end of the ride, they play this song that I really like, and I was planning to get it on video. I decided to just take some random little videos throughout the ride, but my camera starting acting all crazy on me! It would pretend it was taping but then just pause the picture. It would seem like it kept recording, but in reality it was stopping, not pausing. It was confusing and it just kept happening! I had to take my battery out to fix it every time. BOO camera! So needless to say, I did not get the lovely song on video. I’ll try again next time. :) (Clearly I was too preoccupied with my camera to get any real pictures of Living with the Land…my apologies.)

After conquering The Land, we decided to travel across Future World to visit a funny friend of ours.

We were going to visit ELLEN! This was something I had never done before, so I was relatively excited. I’m always up for experiencing a new-to-me attraction! LUCKILY, when we went inside, the next show was set to start in 20 seconds. HELLO! I honestly am not sure how it works. Do they start shows every several minutes, or do you actually have to wait 45 minutes in between shows? Either way, I was glad we didn’t have to wait too long.

If you have never been on this attraction, I’ll give you a little rundown…
(AHEM, complete with NO PHOTOGRAPHY. I wasn’t allowed!)

First, Ellen falls asleep while watching Jeopardy. Personally, I could relate because I do that all the time. Okay, that’s not entirely true. I don’t usually fall asleep watching Jeopardy. But I do fall asleep at least once per 24 period. Anyways. Ellen was asleep. Bill Nye paid her a dream visit and they talked for a while. Then Ellen’s like, “Wait, why am I on Jeopardy now, and why’s my snooty college roommate Stupid Judy, whose real name is Jamie Lee Curtis, here?” (Note: not a direct quote.)

Then you go INTO the room where the ‘ride’ part is, pick a row, and sit down. THIS IS SO COOL, YALL. I promise. It’s awesome. There are little doors that close on each row, and all these different section of seats MOVE. I was probably more interested in the moving rows than the actual storyline of the attraction for a few minutes.

On the journey you encounter dinosaurs, (MUCH LESS SCARY than our carnataurus friend from Animal Kingdom), some of which spit! And guess what? We got hit. Apparently I’m a magnet for random water features on ALL the attractions. Luckily this time no water landed in my mouth.

I don’t want to sound like a complete ditz, but basically this is what happens: you move through the different time periods and basically find out how energy has been used all throughout time. The Big Bang, dinosaurs, cavemen, AIRPLANES! There’s a good chance I’m missing a big chunk but what can I say, I’m not a science person.

All in all, I enjoyed Ellen’s Energy Adventure. I think it was a nice little break for us, too. It definitely won’t be on my MUST DO list at Epcot for every trip, but it’ll be nice to go from time to time. Although who knows, with Test Track closed (:sad2:) you never know!

Our next destination was MOUSE GEAR! We got ‘20% off before noon’ coupons on our breakfast receipts, so we thought it was a necessary stop! I had a few things in mind that I wanted to find, because it had dawned on me that I hadn’t bought any souvenirs yet!

I had very specific items in mind: a 2011 photo album (because World of Disney only had 2012 ones), traditional black with red bow Minnie ears (because my pink ones were ripped… can’t complain, they came from a discount bin, and ALSO because it’s a little bit of a tradition for me to get new ears every trip), and a classic pink Walt Disney World shirt (that I had literally wanted since my first trip).

THE BEST PART? I found ALL OF IT! With a 20% discount, I didn’t feel too terrible about the cost, either! WIN-WIN.

These photos were taken after I had been home for a few days. I apologize, they’re not the greatest. The lighting in my bedroom is pretty terrible. Or my camera was being uncooperative. Either way, SORRY!

SDC12572.jpg

SDC12581.jpg

SDC12580.jpg

Yall are lucky because you get to see the front AND the back of my photo album. I know, I know. It’s the little things. I didn’t take a picture of the Minnie ears, but yall will see those later. Also I’m pretty sure you know what they look like.

We had gone our separate ways, shopping wise, so I was sitting on the little cement bench outside of the store after I checked out, waiting for the rest of my group. While I was sitting there, APPARENTLY, Sally was meeting…

380529_10151077814955177_820575176_22145457_2048787179_n.jpg

RAFIKI? I mean, what the heck? I literally had no idea he met people randomly in the middle of Future World. In fact, I was oblivious to the fact that she met him until I saw the pictures! I am still baffled about this. Anyways…

We had planned on trying to get on Test Track, but the line was pretty long. We ended up not having time to wait because we had to head to another park for a… (drumroll please) LUNCH ADR!!! :woohoo:

Welcome Back to the DIS! I'm glad it's working again because it was a pain-in-the-bahonky when it wasn't! :headache:

Sounds like y'all had a great morning at Epcot. Except for maybe the breakfast. And you're not alone - Ed prefers sausage patties to sausage links, too. I sure hope your stomach got settled for the day. Being sick on vacation is the worst!

I have yet to do the Ellen ride. I think I would enjoy it but don't think Reid would be able to sit through all of it.

Can't wait to hear where y'all went for lunch! :goodvibes

Hi Marissa! I'm finally ALLLLLLLL caught up on your TR. And let me just say, I think we were separated at birth. Not only do we share the same exuberance for every detail of the Disney experience, but I love any girl who can appreciate the NSYNC classic "Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays." :lmao: Do you remember the fantastic matching sweaters in the video?

Hey! I'm so glad you're here. You did an awesome job catching up! HAHA that's so funny! Gotta appreciate those Disney details, definitely. That is honestly one of my favorite Christmas songs ever! I do remember the video... ahhh 90's boy bands! Nothing beats them! The video I remember the MOST of all *NSYNC videos is "It's Gonna Be Me" where they were all puppets hahaha.

But back to your TR... Four parks in one day?!?? Seriously, I bow down to you guys. :worship: That takes some serious stamina, especially with the short winter hours.

Why thank you! Yeah, it wasn't really planned for us to do that, but we figured we might as well! Especially since we would miss IllumiNations altogether if we didn't go, and I don't think any of us wanted to miss it!

I loved your Fantasmic recap, could you come do commentary the next time I go see the show? And I finally saw Illuminations for the first time on this last trip and I finally get what everyone has been raving about. It is truly a majestic show, so different from anything else Disney does. Can't wait to see it again!

Thanks! I'd love to. (I really would love to... you're going in October and that's my birthday month so I'm jealous!) Definitely! I'm glad you got to see it, because it is truly amazing. So glad you caught up! Now I need to start getting caught up on all the TRs I'm subscribed to, including yours!

Holy Goodness I am so incredibly and embarrassingly far behind in EVERYONE'S TRs!!!!! :flower3: I've been so busy with school- 18 days left!

Well, anyway, I am taking each TR one at a time- slow and steady wins the race...right?? Orrrrr maybe I just become further behind!

I even took notes for this! So here we go!

ME TOO. I mean, the being behind part. It's QUITE ridiculous! Hahah yeah I'm gonna be doing the same thing. Goodness gracious this could take all weekend. Don't even worry, I literally always take notes on TRs hahah! It's clearly the way to go.

First off, YAY for a new trip!!!!! Almost double digit dancing time!! Aww, I love family time in Disney. Although touring with friends is a lot of fun too!

OH YES! And as you know from twitter, it is OFFICIALLY DOUBLE DIGIT DANCING TIME!!! Being at Disney with friends is wonderful, but I'm definitely excited to go with my family again! None of them have been in almost two years!

WOWZERS! All 4 parks in 1 day?! :worship: I am officially jealous of your stamina! That is just amazing!

I totally agree with the wonderous (spelling?) Spaceship Earth!! :lovestruc I just LOVE it! So photogenic and beautiful ALL of the time! <3

Haha thanks! We just went for it. Yes, SE is THE coolest thing ever.

OMG I love Illuminations!!! It's just so pretty! Ok, I NEED to go for Christmas again because those Holiday fireworks are just spectacular!

Ahh, the infamous chanting Brazilian tour groups... :headache: I totally feel you there on the whole drawing attention to yourself thing! It's so frustrating! When my foreign language club and I was preparing to travel overseas to France and Spain in high school we were debriefed on how to behave and what to wear. We were definitely told to not look like tourists! I think the Brazilians need a lesson in proper touring behavior too (i.e., NOT CHANTING AT THE TOP OF YOUR LUNGS)! ;) I'm sorry, I've finished my ranting.

Oh you should DEFINITELY go at Christmas time, at least once in your life. It's really amazing! I recommend it to everyone. Ugh, yeah, the tour groups are just frustrating. YES, EXACTLY! I mean, I know it's Disney and that pretty much guarantees that you'll be safe, but it's still not a good idea to have all that attention on you.

Oh no!! I hope your friend feels better in the morning!! Being sick in Disney is the absolute WORST!!

Can't wait to read more, and I'll try my hardest not to get behind anymore! :goodvibes

She definitely felt better in the morning, thank goodness! It really is THE WORST. That's okay that you were behind because clearly I was behind too hahaha. It happens!

The DIS is driving me insane! I had posted on someone's TR last night & when I went back on it to read an update today, my post was gone! I don't know what's going on. I just did an update on my PTR & it would let change the size of the font but not the color. :confused3

I have been so out of the loop, has it still been acting funky?! I hope everything's okay now!

Hi!!! I'm late joining in but I've caught up!! Loving your TR so far!!! It really makes me want to go at Christmas time! Also, I saw your twitter info and followed you! That sounds really creepy... but I mean it in the best way possible :goodvibes

YAY! I'm finally seeing your comment! Hahaha I'm so glad you joined in the TR AND followed me on twitter! Don't worry, I don't think it's the least bit creepy. You were so helpful to me when I couldn't get on the Dis... thank you so much for letting me know they were updating again, because I don't know if I would have tried to get on it today otherwise!

All caught up - I think!

I really enjoyed your Illuminations pictures. I did not know that the Holiday Illuminations had a different ending. Bummer. I am so sorry I missed it this past December. Oh well. I only had 4 real nights to see the parks. Can't do everything.

Congrats on 4 parks in 1 day! That's pretty impressive. I agree with you - I wish they would open the parks later in mid December!

Hooray! Aw, thanks! Definitely catch it next time you're there during the holidays! It's definitely amazing. Yeah, we only had four nights too! Darn those short trips, hahaha. Thanks! I'm glad you agree. I mean, I don't see what the difference is in December. I know it's darker earlier, but still. It's a mystery!

Congrats on staying at BLT in July! We stayed in a 2BR there back in December of 2009. We had a Bay Lake view, which I loved. Here are a few pics from our trip.

Oh my gosh, I cannot even tell you how much I loved seeing those pictures! Thank you so much for posting them. That made me THAT much more excited to see it all in person! Thank you!!!!

HI - I just read through all your report in one reading and I wanted to say that your trip looks awesome!! I am eagerly awaiting the next instalment!

Did you really?! That's so awesome! Thanks for reading, I'm so glad you're here and that you commented! So sorry you had to wait so long for a new update, but I hope you enjoy them!

All caught up, WOOT! Sorry I haven't been commenting lately Marissa. As I told you on Twitter, something weird happened on my subscription list, but anyways I'm back on track! Great updates so far and it sounds like you had a VERY productive trip. 4 parks in one day? Like... I think I nearly made it to that on my last trip (DTD, DHS and MK in one day, as well as various resorts lol) But that's epic right there! Gotta give you huge props there! :thumbsup2 And I don't know if I mentioned this the last time I commented but I LOVE your videos! You may not edit them, but it's nice to see your day through and through non-stop. These are the reasons why I need a camcorder.

Well, can't wait to read more! :mickeyjum

Yay! Don't even worry about it Timmy, i's very much okay! I'm glad you figured it out though because that's super weird! AW YEAH! I loved doing all four parks in one day. I'd definitely do it again, but like end up in a park that had evening EMH or something. Now THAT would be epic! Hahah. Well thank you! I'm glad you enjoy them. I was planning to edit them, but it ended up that I was mostly taking videos of shows and stuff. BUT, I'm planning to do a real edited video on my trip this summer, so that should be fun! Hopefully I can get a camcorder too, so the quality will be better!

Yay the Dis is working!! :cool1: But, more importantly: DOUBLE DIGIT DANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
:banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana:

That is so strange about the bus stop  I wonder what that was for? Haha, glad you weren't a part of a mass murder in Disney! :scared1: hahaha

I LOVE WELCOME BY JUMP 5! haha, I would have danced too!

Yay for riding Soarin! I have honestly ridden Soarin once and may or may not have gotten motion sick... The whole being so high up and moving around thing scares me! Maybe next time we go I'll be better with it!

Sorry you didn't like your breakfast! I've never been to Sunshine Seasons for beakfast, but I bet some of their alternative breakfast choices are yummier!

:rotfl2: I love your description play-by-play of the Universe of Energy! Too funny! That is most definitely a cool-down ride.

Great buys! :thumbsup2 Gotta love 20% off! :rotfl2:

Huh, who know Rafiki was in Future World? Never woulda guessed it! :confused3

It was the second time I saw Titanic at the theater (Last time I was in high school), and I think the 3D is really worth it.

Very nice! I still haven't had a chance to see it so I can't wait to see how awesome the 3D is.

I also think the effects they added with the hitchhicking ghosts is amazing. I can't wait to see it again!

Yes! The new effects are genius! I can't wait either!

The kitchen sink is out of the question for me... especially because of my nut allergies.

Aww, that doesn't sound fun! The peanut butter sauce was one of my favorite parts!

Seems like your trip is just a little bit after mine. I'll be there July 15 to 25.

Oh man, RIGHT after! We arrive July 29!

It was our first time at the Crystal Palace too during our last trip. And let's just say that this reservation has been made for our next trip for a while hehe

It was my second time! Hahaha, I know right? That place is such a winner.

I'm sure you'll enjoy Bay Lake Tower. We have stayed at the CR 3 times and we can't bring ourselves to stay anywhere else. It's that great to us.

Oh really?! That's awesome! I would love to stay at the Contemporary someday too. It'll almost be like staying there haha! I can't wait! Are you staying at the CR in July too?

The dream along show is really fun. I think it's time for a change, but with all of this said.... my mom and I still dance in front of the castle while watching the show. People are too stiff... it's a castle party... dance! ;)

Aw, well if they do change it I hope they at least wait until after we go this summer. My brother is so excited to see it! (I made him the CD of it, and he's watched it on you tube a few times, but he's never seen it in person. He can't wait!) I totally agree! Gotta live it up while you're at Disney!

I know what you mean about crying. I cry when I'm happy and I cry when I'm sad. So I tend to get teary at wdw too hehe

Same here! Haha glad I'm not the only one.

I saw the Osborne once. And that light "roof" was my favorite. It felt so magical to walk underneath it.

Oh definitely. That was amazing. I would have stayed underneath it all night if I could have!

I also saw Pocahontas with my grandma. I now cherish Pocahontas ;) Such good memories to hold on to.

I just think Pocahontas is such a classic, I don't really get why more people don't love it. I agree, those are great memories. :goodvibes

Your family loks so great! You seem to be a great family! I love the pics. Your smiles made me smile ;)

Aww, thank you. That's so sweet! I'm really excited to go back to Disney with my family, 99 days! Thank you for all of your lovely comments!

Welcome Back to the DIS! I'm glad it's working again because it was a pain-in-the-bahonky when it wasn't! :headache:

Thank you! I'm SO glad it's working again. I couldn't even load the dang pages! I missed it a lot. Hahaha it really was a pain! But it seems to be working well for me so far! Although I've only been on my TR the entire time I've been back on, so who knows what's going on out there... but it does seem like the smiley page is different! I have spotted a clown, a fireman, a painter, and a biker... so that's new... :rotfl:

Sounds like y'all had a great morning at Epcot. Except for maybe the breakfast. And you're not alone - Ed prefers sausage patties to sausage links, too. I sure hope your stomach got settled for the day. Being sick on vacation is the worst!

Haha I'm glad I'm not the only one. There's just a little something odd to me about sausage links... like for instance, what is the up with the little tube of meat? Hmm, I hope it does too... it really is the worst. :(

I have yet to do the Ellen ride. I think I would enjoy it but don't think Reid would be able to sit through all of it.

Yeah, probably not. I hope you get to do it someday though, it's pretty fun and interesting!

Can't wait to hear where y'all went for lunch! :goodvibes

Hooray! I'm gonna try to get the next couple updates up sooner than later, because I feel like if I hadn't had the delays, I'd be there at this point! Ahh well. But you'll find out soon! :thumbsup2

Yay the Dis is working!! :cool1: But, more importantly: DOUBLE DIGIT DANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
:banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana:

I KNOW!!!! I'm so glad it's working for you too! YES DOUBLE DIGITS!!!! SO exciting!

That is so strange about the bus stop  I wonder what that was for? Haha, glad you weren't a part of a mass murder in Disney! :scared1: hahaha

I LOVE WELCOME BY JUMP 5! haha, I would have danced too!

I know, it was super weird. I'm still a little baffled by that, to be honest. All the other busses were at the normal bus stops! HAHAHA I'm so glad too. That would have been a tragic end indeed. I love that song too! It made the waiting more fun haha.

Yay for riding Soarin! I have honestly ridden Soarin once and may or may not have gotten motion sick... The whole being so high up and moving around thing scares me! Maybe next time we go I'll be better with it!

Oh no! Really? That's so sad. :( No need to be embarrassed though. Honestly, I'm afraid of heights too, and I do get motion sickness... but I'm immune to heights and sickness on rides, which is pretty miraculous hahah. I hope that when you try it again you love it!

That's okay! I definitely should have looked at all the options haha. Thanks! You're right about that. It was nice and relaxing for us.

Great buys! :thumbsup2 Gotta love 20% off! :rotfl2:

Huh, who know Rafiki was in Future World? Never woulda guessed it! :confused3

Yay! I loved the stuff I got, I was so excited. Hahah I know right? Like, what are you doing here Rafiki? Hahaha.

I can't believe you had so many issues with Disboards! That's ridiculous! It doesn't even make any sense. :confused3

I FORGOT ABOUT THE JUMP 5 VERSION OF WELCOME HOLY COW. That used to be my FAVORITE song holy crap. I MISS IT!!!!

If you're thirsty that means you're dehydrated! You must be constantly dehydrated... that's probably not good :p

Okay I know EXACTLY what song you're talking about and now it's playing in my head. I can picture the video they play with the little bugs on the plants and the machines in the fields and stuff. And I can't find that song ANYWHERE. It's the one song from Disney that I don't have on my iPod.

YAY! I'm so glad you're back! The DIS was down for me for about a day, but after that I was able to get back on. I wonder why it gave you such a hard time? I guess it realized it was your half birthday and it needed to be nice again! ;)

YAY for double digits! We're getting so close to both our trips!

HOORAY FOR BEING AWESOME! I love it when you get prime seats on rides without having to ask. :thumbsup2

I love Ellen's Energy Adventure! I remember going on that on my first trip in 2007, and being completely BLOWN AWAY when the seats started moving. Like, I couldn't wrap my mind around it. I have only ridden it once since then, but I will always love it for it's initial shock value.

I love successful shopping trips in Disney! I had some pretty frustrating shopping experiences on our last trip when I couldn't find what I wanted. That seemed to happen a lot, and it drove me CRAZY. :furious:

HAHAHA what are you doing chilling in Future World, Rafiki? Silly baboon. :confused3

Hahaha, I love how you pointed out the hole in your shirt. I would have never noticed. "Yes that's a hole in my shirt, and yes it got bigger throughout the day". :rotfl2:

Only the 3rd or 4th pickiest person on the planet huh? I think my niece is the 2nd pickiest person.....

welcome back!

I just read on easywdw about ellen's energy thingy and I don't think I would ever want to sit through a 40 minute ride! Glad you enjoyed it though! :)

So glad you are back!! It looks like you guys had a blast during your morning at Epcot. We met Daisy in the exact same spot on our trip, Stitch was not with her though. I have been curious about Ellen's Energy Adventure, so I'm glad to hear what its all about!! Also, I 100% agree with you that Living with the Land is so interesting! I absolutely loved it! YAY for 99 DAYS!!!

Great updates! You know how I love Epcot updates! :lovestruc

Isn't it weird how Daisy and Stitch are just right at the entrance of Epcot? I don't care about Stitch, but I LOVE Daisy, so it's nice to know I can meet her there whenever I want! I love knowing where Marie is at all times too. :thumbsup2 Is that weird? :rotfl:

(Ok, I'm not liking how the smilies are all out of order! But I do like this one :furious:! :rotfl2:)

Yay Soarin!!! Isn't it great when you get an awesome seat on there just because the CM's realize how awesome you are?

Wow, you do have some thirst issues!! If you drink that much water in Disney, you should stop at a grocery store or Walgreens or something at the beginning of your trip and buy a case of water, it's much cheaper than buying water in the parks! We do that all the time and it works great! :thumbsup2 (I don't have thirst issues, but I have migraine issues and heat exhaustion issues, so I try to drink lots of water in Disney...or whenever it's really hot, actually!)

I think I'm finally going to give Ellen's Energy Adventure a try in May if I can fit it in! I've never done it, in all my years of going to Disney!

Your pink Disney shirt is so cute! And yay for new mouse ears! I'm having a huge dilemma with which ears I should bring with me on my trip! Disney problems!! :rotfl2:

Glad the Dis is working for you again!!!

So weird you got dropped off in the middle of a random area. That's happened to us before, and I was like, "um?" :rotfl:.

I've never eaten at Sunshine Seasons, but I have heard numerous people say that they've gotten way too much food there. I guess it's a generous breakfast location! :thumbsup2

I think I know what song you're talking about at the end of Living with the Land...because I love it too. The one where the pictures of the people with the food pop up? (I couldn't get a clear photo of it last time, so I actually did take a video!)

The DIS wasn't letting me on either, or if it did, it froze. I'm glad it's starting to act right.

Six hours of sleep at Disney is awesome! I have a have time sleeping because 1), it's a strange bed, 2) I'm excited about the next days plans, & 3) I think I'm old:rotfl2:

I enjoyed Ellen's Energy, it was a great way to get off the feet and rest mid-day!
