You GOTTA SEE THESE, most incredible photos of WDW EVER

DH & I takes multiple shots of the castle every trip. Our shots NEVER come out as good as these pictures. :confused3

Good thing he posted all the EXIF information. I'll try to mimic his setting and test it when I get there.

Everyone should take note that he is using the 17-40L lense from Canon. This lense retails for $900 and takes amazing photographs.

The pictures are really nice but they do have very heavy PhotoShop work done to them.

This may be stupid by why does the castle look different? or is it just me? Awesome photos? :confused3

Don't get me wrong these pictures are absolutely amazing but they are even better that the ones Disney uses for advertising so they had to have been doctored. Still wish I could doctor my pictures to look 1/2 as good. hehe.

Wow, beautiful photos!

Have the same camera as him (albeit not as good lens, but pretty close). Will study EXIF data and try and replicate!

Amazing shots....I would love to purchase some and frame them for my house. :)

I can almost feel WDW just looking at some of those pictures.

That is a GREAT idea! I need to practice my photography!

Very true, although at the same time it doesn't take much to take better pics than the ones Disney use for their ads. Their stock photography is mediocre at best.

Wow :earseek: ! This is a very interesting thread. The photographer is my husband. I am glad to see so many people like his pictures. For the ones who question the editing, ie using Photoshop, yes most are photoshopped but it is very common in professional photography. My husband is not a professional, he just really enjoys photography. I can't believe this thread is 5 pages long, he will be flattered to read these comments. :)

Thanks for sharing the link. Those photos are fabulous!

You can send a message to the photographer and ask him. Click on his name or on the link for 'profile' in the upper left corner, then look for the link 'send message'.

Thanks, vettechick99, for the plug. :wave2: How is that new lens working out for you?

Hey, TwoOldPoohs! :wave2: Just saw your post, sorry for the delay. The lens is working out really good, although I've only had that one roll developed. I still have two sitting on the counter ready to be processed!

I can't WAIT to use the lens at Disney though. Hopefully I'll come home with some post-worthy pics!

Hope you are doing well!

Your husband takes breathtaking pictures! Those photos are absolutely amazing! Thanks for sharing. It makes me want to be there right now!

Yes, the pictures are great but they are so digitally enhanced (most, not all) that it's noticable.

IMHO the enhancements are what make the pictures great. So you can tell they've been altered. I think the quality allows the enhancements to shine. I only wish the quality of my pictures was good enough to let me photoshop them.

I think the altering makes them even more magical. Keep up the good work! :worship: :worship: :worship:

Send me some of your digital phot's and I could enhace them to be very awazing. The idea of a great photogrpaher is not to have to enhance the photo's so that it's noticable. Little things are okay but it should be a photograph and not a digital creation. Programs like photoshop have made even the okay photographers look great. A lot of people will say it's the camera /photographer combination but a reat photographer can take great photo's with just about any camera.

I can take the same type of pictures with my point and shoot digital that I can with my SLR film camera.

He does have a great eye for pictures and knows where to take the shot from but too many enhancements for me to enjoy the photo. You shouldn't be able to look at an album and tell the pics are fake.

Oh geez, I can already feel the tension starting to build on this thread.

I feel the photographer talked about on this thread is talented in many arenas. Composition, technique and even in Photoshop. He also has that inate abilty to capture feeling which I think is most important. Let's appreciate the work and not turn this into a pissing match.

So hey, how bout them Braves? :teeth:

Not from me. I'm done. I just    to look at pictures of Disney and people at Disney.

Keep posting!

While they are heavily post processed, it's still a talent. Not many people can do what this person did with just a camera and some software.

I think it's the perfect combination of photography talent and post processing (Photoshop) talent.

Your husband is very talented, We-Luv-Disney, even if they are photoshopped somewhat. Great pics, & I hope to see more in the future! pirate:

I only wish I was that talented with Photoshop! The photos are awesome, and I'm so glad to know that the photographer is a DISer!!!
