Subbing! popcorn::

Can't wait to hear more about your trip!

Another questions, how did you get the links to go in your post? I am doing a PTR and have a post saving space for the links but I don't know how to get the links to go in that post. Thanks in advance! :3dglasses

Sounds like a great start. I can't wait to read more.

You click on the number in the corner of the post then copy the link for that window. Once you are where you want to post it you paste the link inside the insert link box. ItS next too the picture link button. Sorry if it's confusing. I hope it helps! Thanks for reading along!

:hippie:

Glad you have joined us. Where is Coaldale? My husband is from mt. Carmel, PA

We are about 45 minutes from there. Tell him you met someone that went to Panther Valley. The two school were big football rivals for many years.

So, by Tuesday, Paisley and I were both fighting some horrible allergies. They attacked as soon as we crossed the Florida border. So as much as I wanted to be at DHS for Rope Drop, I knew that sleep was more important, so I let Paisley sleep until she woke up, which ended up being 7:30 We gave Paisley her "Tinkerbell" gifts and got dressed in our Matching T-Shirts before heading out.

We ended up leaving the condo and making it to DHS just after Rope Drop (about 9:05). I had pre-warned by husband that I would be taking the stroller and booking it to Toy Story Mania. It was his job to keep up. I went as fast as my little legs could carry me, and yes, I was feeling the burn by the time we made it. The stand-by line was already 40 minutes, and the FP line was to Voyage of the Little Mermaid. I had Patrick and Paisley sit on a bench while I waited. The FP line moved quickly and we got an 11:30-12:30 return time.

We headed to VOTLM, but they were having technical difficulties, so we decided to go to the 9:30 show of Disney Jr. Live. Now, I didn't tear up at all on our first day, but I had tears streaming down my face by the end of the Disney Jr. Show. We were in the front row, and Paisley (who loves Disney Jr.) was in awe. Just the look on her face showed me how real it was for her, and I couldn't contain myself. (I didn't enjoy sitting on the ground, but we made it).

Disney2011003-2-1.jpg

VOTLM was back up and running after we got out of the Disney Jr. show, so we headed there next. I think we waited 15 min. It was here that we encountered our first rude guests of the day (there were several, but only this day, the rest of our trip everyone was wonderful). Of course, the people in our row refused to scoot down all the way, so we all had to crawl over their group of 4. Then they proceeded to take flash photography for the most of the show. I was surprised that no one stopped them .

Well by now we were ready for a snack. I got a little irritated at Patrick because he was asking for a danish? Oh no, we got this...

Disney2011001-2-1.jpg
Disney2011002-1-1.jpg

The Butterfinger Cupcake from Starring Roles! Let me just say that we are a sweets-loving family, but the 3 of us could not finish this cupcake. Patrick was amazed and quickly realized why I didn't get a danish ;)

After filling our bellies, we headed to the Woody and Buzz Meet and Greet. The line was 30 minutes, but I knew it would be worth it. We gave Paisley a Ring Pop and headed for the line. I could not believe how many parents had screaming children making them wait in that long line! We had a British family with an adult son who waited behind us, and they seemed really bothered by us, but I'm not sure why? We didn't even take pictures with all of the props and Paisley was super good. Maybe it was the blue sucker getting all over her face :goodvibes

Disney2011004-4-1.jpg

When it was our turn, Paisley literally ran and jumped into Woody's lap. I was so thankful he caught her. Both Woody and Buzz made a huge deal over our shirts, giving us high-fives and thumbs-ups. (Side Note - Paisley is sitting here with me as I load these pics and she just said, "I really jumped on Woody's lap. I was so excited!")

After this, we headed over to used our TSM FP's. We all rode together and really enjoyed the ride. By the time we got out (around 11:45) the FP's were gone for the day. It was almost time for lunch, but we ran and did The Muppets 3D first (5 min wait). Paisley really wanted to meet Phineas and Ferb, but the line was super long (and stayed that way all day).

Up Next...Hollywood & Vine Character Lunch, the Pixar Parade, and Paisley's Favorite Ride?!?

joining in on the fun! :) We were there at the same time... & I was traveling w/ 3 toddlers :lmao: we drove from NY... I will search for you in some of my pics! :lmao: Cant wait to read more

After The Muppets, we grabbed a Star Tours FP for Patrick, and we headed for our 1:15 reservation at Hollywood & Vine. Paisley loves Little Einsteins, and occasionally watches Handy Manny and Oso, so I was very excited about lunch. Even though I've read a lot of negative reviews, we loved this meal. The food was good, there were a lot of choices, and the characters came around very quickly, so there wasn't a lot of down time. The only negative we had was a man who was screaming and shaking his son at the table next to us. I couldn't believe it, but the entire rest of the table (several adults and children) just ignored him as he humiliated his child :sad1:

Disney2011013-1-1.jpg

Up first we saw Special Agent Oso. He was great with Paisley and even signed her book "Oso Loves Paisley." He spent a lot of time with her and was even tickling her under the chin.

Then Handy Manny...

And lastly, June. I was very impressed with the character interactions at this meal. We would definitely recommend this for anyone with little Disney Jr. fans!

After we paid (and left our CM an Appreciation Card), Patrick went to use his Star Tours FP. Paisley wanted to spend some more time at the Muppets fountain, so we did.

Disney2011015-1-1.jpg

We checked the Phineas and Ferb line again, and I decided it was too long (we never did meet them). We did get Paisley's picture with Lightning McQueen and Mater. She was a little hesitant, but still loved it.

Photo0272FourBySix-1.jpg

Paisley spent a lot of time playing bubbles with a CM. I gave her an Appreciation Card, and we went to meet Patrick. By this time Paisley was complaining about wanting to ride a ride, so we went to The Great Movie Ride. It was a walk-on. I was a little worried about her getting scared with the gunfire and Alien scene, so I gave her a candy bracelet to chew on while we were riding. Turns out, this was her favorite ride of the whole trip. Go figure. When we passed the Alien scene she just said, "Oooo that was scary!"

When we got out of TGMR, it was almost time for the Pixar Parade to start. We hadn't really planned on watching parades, but right before we left we watched "Up" and Paisley loved it. I knew that this would be her only chance to see any of those characters, so we waited for the parade. We found a small space open for Paisley, so we sent her up to sit on the ground, and I stood behind her chatting with the mom next to me. Well, as it usually happens right before a parade, a Mom who didn't speak English pushed her 3 very large children in front of Paisley. Then the Mom and Dad started to try to push in front of me. I kept saying, "No" and shaking my head, but there was no stopping them. Finally, a lady right in front turned around and told them they were trying to take too much room and they needed to find another spot, so they did. This was the only time during our trip that I got irritated, but it worked out ;)

During the parade, Russell came and gave Paisley a high-five. It was so perfect!

Disney2011017-1-1.jpg

I was really interested in Characterpalooza, so we headed over that way next, but none of the CM's knew anything about it. I peeked inside and it was just Sorcerer Mickey and Pooh, so we didn't wait.

We went to the Beauty and the Beast show next, which I loved, but Paisley was getting really tired and kept trying to lay down on the bench. She drew on my travel journal for most of it, but still clapped at the end :goodvibes

Disney2011020-2.jpg

I knew our time with Paisley was quickly getting hairy, so we headed out of the park and got our pics taken in front of the Hat.

Photo0275FourBySix-1-1.jpg

Photo0278FourBySix-1.jpg

Paisley was refusing to wear her Mickey Ears, and I thought maybe she'd like a headband better, so I offered to get her the Minnie Ears on the headband. I asked her if she wanted them, and she said yes. When I asked her if she would wear them or take them off, she said she would take them off. So I said, "I'm not going to buy them then" and she said, "Ok."

By the time we got to our car, this was Paisley....

Disney2011021-2-1.jpg

We went back to the condo and ate chicken wings and fries for dinner. We tried to swim, but it was just too cold, and Paisley's lips turned blue. We went to bed early to get ready for our 8:15 Crystal Palace Breakfast.

Up Next....Our Second MK Day and How Touring Plans Helped Us Have an Amazing Day!

Oh my land...I can't imagine 3 kids, much less 3 toddlers! We don't have a lot of crowd pics, but maybe you'll see one of you in ours :goodvibes

Wednesday morning we had an 8:15 breakfast reservation at Crystal Palace. We got up at 6:30, dressed for the day, and gave Paisley her Tinkerbell gifts.

Disney001-3-1.jpg

We left for MK at 7:15 and reached the MainGate by 8:00. We stopped to take a few castle pictures, and then went to check-in at CP.

Once we reached CP, we were seated at our table within 10 minutes. The breakfast was super yummy. My favorites were the Mickey Waffles and The Stuffed French Toast. Paisley enjoyed a whole bunch of fruit, but she was too interested in the characters to each much.

Disney2011011-2-1.jpg

We met Pooh Bear before we even got our food. Eeyore quickly followed. The characters took a short break, then Piglet came pretty immediately. However....we waited for a long time for Tigger. In fact, I was getting worried because it was getting close to park opening, and I wanted to book it to Rapunzel's line. I asked Paisley if she wanted to wait for Tigger or go, and she said, "Wait for Tigger," so we did.

Disney2011014-1-1.jpg

All of the characters were excellent. Paisley told Piglet she was going to be him for Halloween (which sadly didn't work out), and she spent a few minutes bouncing with Tigger. We finished up around 9:05, and I could see people beginning to stream into the park. Let me say....this is the day that proved Touring Plans work. We booked it over to Rapunzel's M&G, and made it into the 1st group. The kids went to color at the table and play with Pascal.

Disney2011016-1-1.jpg

And now we come to the part of this TR where we learn the about the TR Title. We were pretty far back in the Rapunzel line, so I was spending the time talking to a nice lady behind me while we were waiting. I turned around and Paisley had both her shorts and her Pull-up down on the ground. I said, "What are you doing?!? You can't pull your pants down in the line!!!" She never did explain why she did it, and she didn't need to go potty. Who knows what was going through her little mind :rotfl:

Pretty soon, out came Rapunzel. She spent a great amount of time with Paisley. I was really impressed. She talked to Paisley about some bugs on the ground, about her hair, and then she asked Paisley what she liked to draw. Paisley told her, "Spiders." I think that surprised Rapunzel a bit :goodvibes

After Rapunzel, the we headed off to follow our Touring Plans. Patrick and Paisley went to ride Dumbo (25 minute wait). I have always had an irrational fear about this ride, so I skipped out. I headed off to get FP's for Peter Pan and ended up also getting surprise FP's for Philharmagic.

Disney2011019-1-1.jpg

After Dumbo, we went to The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (10 minutes), Used our Peter Pan FP's (the Stand-by line was 30 minutes), and walked on to It's a Small World. There was an extremely annoying family (two pre-teens and their parents) who sat behind us and made fun of the ride the whole time. Paisley loved it (as she did all the rides). There was so much for her to see and take in. She kept pointing out all the animals.

Disney2011021-1-1.jpg

After IASM, we headed over to use our Philharmagic (although it wasn't really needed). Paisley LOVED Philharmagic (which is also one of my favorites). It was her first 3D experience, and she kept trying to touch everything and she kept giggling. It was so cute :lovestruc

After this, we went over to Snow White's Adventures (15 minutes). Paisley's favorite part of the movie is the witch, so she loved the ride. We also did the carousel. It was 11:05 and we had finished everything in Fantasyland, so we went back to the condo to take a much-needed nap.

Disney2011022-2.jpg

I don't know how they figure out this at Touring Plans, but boy does it work. We would walk on to a ride that had a 5 or 10 minute wait, and we would come out and it would be a 20 or 25 minute wait.

As we were walking out, we saw Peter Pan with no line, so we stopped for a pic.

Disney2011023-1-1.jpg

Up Next....Lunch and Evening at MK.

I love watching children see something in 3D! They are always so amazed to see things popping out at them that they can't touch. When DH (when he was still DFi) we saw Philharmagic and there was a little girl sitting next to us giggling the whole time. It's a very adorable sound.
Glad you guys had a good day at Disney.

Oh my! I'm not sure what I would do if I looked and saw DS with his pants down :rotfl: Were you shocked?

It's great that you got so much done and saw the princesses! You got some great family photopass pics!

I was so shocked! She's NEVER done anything like that before! Luckily, her shirt was long, so at least she wasn't exposing herself :rotfl:
