Just curious!!!

Okay, you hang up the phone, look around your untidy house and SCREAM!! Company is dropping by in about 15 minutes!! You have only enough time to clean 1 of your rooms!

Which will it be?? :confused3

Bathroom? Kitchen? Living Room? or somewhere else?

Depends on which is the dirtiest, I guess. Luckily though, since finding FlyLady. My house is company ready in less than 15 minutes most of the time. :thumbsup2

kitchen! Definitely.

It's usually where everyone congregates -- it's summer so you can offer a cold drink and once everyone is in the kitchen, you can all conveniently stay there.

Probably the kitchen, but nothing is grosser than a dirty bathroom. And usually your guests will have to use it.

Bathroom. They'll probably use it, and the boys - I don't know HOW - make drippies down the side of the toilet. So, that's what I clean.

Just remember - the people who come to see you don't care about your messy house. They care about you! :goodvibes

luckily, I have an obsessive compulsive disorder for cleanliness:rotfl: my house is always clean....BUT...most people hang out in my kitchen so I would make sure I sprayed some Clorox Clean-up down the drain to make it smell cleaner :teeth: I know, it's a sickness :confused3

Another vote for the kitchen.
And another person who cannot stand a dirty house and is a little crazy about keeping it clean

Lock the door and pull the drapes.

I would have to say the kitchen, followed closely by the bathroom. My family always gathers in the kitchen no matter whose house we happen to be in. Having a clean kitchen means a lot to me because I'm really weird about having crud in glasses I'm about to use, dusty dishes, etc. I'm kind of like that little girl in "Signs" that kept having to get another glass of water because her water was old or dirty.

What is FlyLady and how can I get one????

Living room! I liked the idea of turning off the light and pull the drapes. :rotfl:

Definitely the bathroom!

Clutter in the family room & kitchen is homey and lived-in. A dirty bathroom is just gross!

www.flylady.net

she has a systematic (and baby step) approach for cleaning the house.
when i'm on her plan, it works great. then i get lazy and i backslide. oops.

I guess that would depend... a lot of new houses (as well as old) have open floor plans where all rooms form one big one.

Anyways, besides that.. I think I would clean my living room.. this is because if someone came over the room in which we all gather will look decent. But there is no way in #&*@ that I could clean any room in 15 min. It takes me 15 min just to organize the newspapers and magazines!

the bathroom, everyone knows my house is always cluttered but as long as the bathroom is clean then I'm content.

Kitchen

I'm a very organized and neat person, so every room is essential to me. However, if the kitchen is a mess, then the house is not right.
