Hello everyone! Personal responses coming later, but I had to jump in here and put up some baby pictures!
I posted this over on the DIS Dad's Club, but I repost here for those that don't follow over there:
For those not aware, Ryder was not breathing when he was born. Nurses started chest compressions and an oxygen bag. The NICU team was in the room in short order (the doc later said a door was stuck/locked so he jumped through a window to get there. ) They got him breathing and rushed him up to the NICU. I was allowed up about 45 minutes later (Bambi had the epidural, so she couldn't go yet) He was hooked up to some monitors but looked fine and was turning the nice pink color that babies are supposed to be. He has tested positive for a GSB infection. Anyway, he's going great. Eating good, loving he attention from his big sister and big brother. He needs to stay here to have a 10-day course of antibiotics to make sure the infection is completely gone. That should put him coming home on Easter Sunday or possibly Saturday night, depending on if they can speed up the doses or not.
