You are addicted to Disneyland.......

Where did you find that, what brand?! I am addicted to that smell and even bought my husband a cologne just because it had that same orangy/piney/sea foamy smell! (It's Aqva, by Bvlgari). I guess that must be another sign of when you know you are addicted to Disneyland.....When I go up to my husband and say.....Mmm, you smell like vacation!:rotfl2:

Kathy

I believe it's called X-Tra. It's a liquid and I think it's in the green bottle. (I've been using the Costco laundry detergent, which has a good smell, too, although not quite as "Disney" as the other one! ;) ) I'll have to find the cologne you mentioned for my DH!! :goodvibes

Thanks, I'll have to check that one out! You can find the cologne at Macy's I think. They gave my husband a sample one day and I have been hooked ever since!

You are addicted when you play a game with your kids to see how many Mickeys they can spot in your home, not moving from their seats at the dining room table (they got up to 17, of course that number would grow tremendously if we actually got up from the table :lmao: )

When your kids find Hidden Mickeys everywhere, and your not-so-Disney-addicted DH is starting to become afraid to take them out in public lest they turn to a stranger in the grocery and say "That mole on your face looks like Mickey!" (This hasn't happened, but you know the day is coming.....)

When the last five (or ten? More?) on-line purchases you've made have been Disney related, either for clothing to wear to the park, goods to use at the park, or items to keep the fam entertained on their way to the park....and your trip is still months away.

When your trip is early next spring so every Christmas gift your immediate family receives from you will be directly related to your vacation.....

When your practical husband is explaining that just because you have planned two Disney trips in three years does NOT mean you'll be going back every three years....and you choose to lovingly ignore his lapse in magical wonderment......

Love the Goof....

So true for me that everyone knows that our vacations are just to disney!
Plus, my daughter wore her mickey ears with the tassle for her preschool graduation. Had to go to disneyland just to get it or else the graduation would not be the same!

wazowskilover:) i am hounding my family now and telling them that they are going in March with us no matter what even if they have to save every penny till then..lol

... when you draw mickey heads on the pads of your dogs foot while he's sleeping.

:lmao:
When do you do that?!

... when you just come back from your DLR trip and you plan another one in TWO months .. and your cousin says AGAIN?!!?
:rotfl:

... when NOTHING will ever stop you from going despite what your boyfriend's parents say!

When you request time off and your boss asks if you're flying or driving to DL.

Me too! Everyone thinks I'm nuts because all of my trips are to WDW or DL. Then they respond, "Are you going again?! :confused3 YES!!!!

You know you are addicted to DL:

When you have AP's to both WDW and DL, and you live in New Jersey.:woohoo:

When you have CD's of the music from the parades and shows in your car.

When your new car has no antenna, and you are creating spots to hang your antenna toppers.;)

When your whole back seat is full of Disney stuffed animals and they are velcroed together so they don't fall off the seat.

When the only kid in the car is you with the stuffed animals, and you are over 40.:rolleyes1

When you spend way too much time on the disboards, laughing and agreeing with all the comments.:disrocks:

When every room in your house has something Disney in it.

When you are in the window looking for the park when the pilot makes the announcement: "We are now making our initial descent...":lovestruc

When your grown DS who works for the airline shakes his head:rolleyes: , because all of your flights lead to Disney and he needs to work there so you can go more.

If being addicted to Disney is wrong, I don't want to be right!!!!:dance3:

You know you are addicted to Disneyland…when you spend time watching the hojoanaheim mattercam…figuring out just where the camera is pointing and then when you go to DL
without the rest of the family…you go to that spot (just happens to be the tram drop-off) call your family back home so they can get on the Mattercam and you wave to them…
You have Disney music playing at dinner time with the mattercam on…just so you can feel like you are having dinner in the park…
You know you are addicted to Disney when…
All your art work (and just about everything else) in your home is Disney…
You spent eight years doing the official Disneyana conventions…
You love Disney boards…
Your family always knows where your next trip will be…
You know what LGMH are

When you keep re-reading the Disneyland 2008 brochure booklet over and over again! :lovestruc

when you order the free dvd just to watch disneyland

when there are to many ears to display so you end up putting them away and feel bad that you can't keep them all out.

...When your friends lovingly refer to you as 'The Disney HO' then ask you to plan their vacations. Or better yet ask you to take them to the parks and give them the guided tour.

You are addicted when even your place of employment's internet policy *technically* forbids any non-work related surfing....and yet, DIS Boards is set as a "favorites" on Windows Explorer.

(Yeah, I minimize the window, thinking THAT will avoid repercussions!) :lmao:

Well, since the OP is talking about DisneyLAND, not Disney in general,
I knew I was addicted to it when we planned our upcoming trip to WDW and it didn't feel quite as magical! :tinker:

When you buy laundry detergent because it smells like "Soarin'". :goodvibes

I have determined that my detergent (Kirkland liquid Ultra) has a faint Big Thunder smell.....kind of "Chemically treated water meets musk and sunshine" - LOL! It took me a long time to figure out why doing laundry was making me happy, that is SO unlike me.....:rotfl:

You are addicted to Disneyland when...
you ask your 4 y/o DS if he wants to go to the park and he knows you don't mean the neighborhood park, but Disneyland -- and he goes to the closet to get the Disney backpack for snacks and drinks.

You know your addicted to Disneyland when, someone comes to you for Disney info and that somebody is a CM...

...when the CM's know you by name...
