Yosemite

For all the info on Yosemite. I finally got a chance to look at your pictures, too. The place where the kids are wading looks kind of like what I remember where we swam at the base of the falls, but remember this was MANY years ago. (Let's just say my visit to Yosemite was before the first visit you mentioned in your report, LOL!!) So, things may have changed just a BIT since then.



How will I wait till June?

DD took a trip to Yosemite and San Francisco in summer 2001 with a group of students. She was only 12, but said it was the greatest place she'd ever been (that's including WDW if you can believe it). She has done nothing but tell me how I HAVE to get to Yosemite someday, it's so beautiful. And from her pictures, I can see it really was. I'd love to go there, IF I can ever force myself to save money to go somewhere other than WDW. And yes, she saw bears - she even has a picture of a mama and a baby bear. The nature guide told them to very quietly, but quickly walk the other way. Bears only like people for one thing - their food, and they'll do whatever they need to do to get it. Yikes!
