York Peppermint Patty Pieces..Have You Tried Them?

They are good! Put them in my son's Valetine's stash. He can't eat much stuff due to peanut allergy but York Peppermint Patties have always been safe.

I decided to try some and the were great. Sort of like a lightly minty M&M. This is great for him because he can't eat M&Ms due to peanut issues but these are close.

They were very addictive!

cool...I will have to try those. Hershey's used to make these wonderful things called "Kissables" that I was addicted to...and then they discontinued them. I also have a peanut allergy so M&M's are OUT. I got a reaction once from the plain ones and haven't tried them since.

Yes, we used to get those for my son although I didn't think they were nearly as good as M&Ms. We have ordered the M&M-type candy from Vermont Nut Free (Skippers) but these York things were pretty close to an M&M. I'm not a huge "mint" fan and they didn't overly bother me. The mint was not that prominent.

I bought the almond joy ones to try. Those are awesome too. Luckily, only my youngest and me like coconut. We got the York for dad & the brothers.

I made a trip to Walgreens today just to get these-yummy! Does anyone remember 7 or so years ago when Hershey made the ball-shaped candy in a bag like the pieces? The Reese's cup ones were good, but the Heath bar-OMG yummy!

Yes, I really like them! I expected them to be like a mini York mint, too... but was surprised when it was like an M&M!

DH came home with Reeses Pieces, the Almond Joy pieces and York pieces last week.

If you ever come up to Canada, you should pick up some Smarties - like M&M;s but in prettier colours and nut-free.

Canadian Smarties are very different from our smarties.

OP I will have to look for those, I love Peppermint Patties. I love to make smore's with Peppermint Patties instead of regular Hershey's chocolate. YUM I also like them with Peanut Butter Cups.
