YOLO Part Dos -- A Journey Beyond Your Wildest Imagination Updated 9/9 Trip Video

OMG I have the exact same feelings about the chili cheese hotdog at Casey's. It looks really good and at first you're like yeahhhh and then you're like ehhhhh. I was really disappointed.

my punctuation was a little off. i meant pecos bills, not peco. i think peco was a distant relative on his mother's side. also my brother, who lives in florida, was telling me about a string of comb attacks in the orlando area around three months ago. he said they were "combing" the area, but don't have any suspects yet.

Haha, in your trip video, I am always drawn to watching that mom behind you on Thunder Mountain avoid the camera! I think it's hilarious!

Boo to the height restriction for the stepsisters!!!

Whoa, how dangerous is your comb that you had to put it in a locker?!? I'm surprised that the guy saw it in the first place. I feel as if it all depends on which person checks my bag because some just glance and others really move stuff around.

Growing up, we didn't have hot dogs that often because my mom was always concerned about the nitrates and stuff. When we did have them, it was always at home because it was less expensive for our entire family. On the RAREST of occasions would we get a hot dog outside the house, so for me, they are still one of the ultimate "junk food" meals that I can get. With that being said, any time I see a hot dog on a TR, I immediately start drooling and want one myself! Hubs and I got the pulled pork and coleslaw hot dog from DHS and split it last year, and in my mind, it was absolutely decadent. Haha, is that a weird word to use for hot dogs?

Yeah, I figured it was something boring like that!

I started a TR if you want to follow along. :)

Yes!!! I would love to join along!

What? That whole comb fiasco is a little crazy....weiiiirrdd...

Yum! Casey's! I always go for the corn dog nuggets, or just a plain hot dog! And Pecos Bill! Also yum! The taco salad bowl is my favorite there!

Tell me about it, it was a rat tail comb which did go down to a point but it wasn't sharp. But whatever it left for a funny memory.

I absolutely love reading your TR! Y'all always look like you're having so much fun. My three best friends and I are actually staying at AoA when we go together, and we want a Nemo room- so I'm loving all your AoA pictures!

Thank you so much! You are going to LOVE AoA it is perfect. I wish I could live there.

i'll be dancin' down the hospital halls tonight. it's friday and i just won the lottery. well...it's friday. i'm working on that other one. it's been a rough week at the saw mill. that's why these trip reports can invigorate a fella. casey's corner is one of our favorites. we like to sit outside with a good ole american hot dog and a belly washer about 30 minutes before park closing and just take in being in our favorite place. you can't go wrong at peco's bills either. heck any eatin' place at disney is A ok. the counter service at norvay is especially good. too bad about you being busted with that comb. you're developing quite the rap sheet. it's kind of strange that they catch you with a comb and that guy gets in with a gun. we've been to mnsshp twice and we've always dressed up as tourists. i think this year i might go as a comb salesman.

my punctuation was a little off. i meant pecos bills, not peco. i think peco was a distant relative on his mother's side. also my brother, who lives in florida, was telling me about a string of comb attacks in the orlando area around three months ago. he said they were "combing" the area, but don't have any suspects yet.

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I could really eat at any quick service at Disney World and be completely happy with life. Don't even get me started with Norvay, I seriously love it there...especially the school bread.
But really soon they aren't going to let me in to the parks anymore if I keep it up. But I mean this time I was just trying to bring in a comb I didn't think I was breaking a rule. Oh my god a comb salemans... stop this madness. Just make sure you don't have a rat tale comb because you will be missing out on that party if you don't throw your costume out.
I can't even handle all these comb comments they are just priceless! :lmao:

OMG I have the exact same feelings about the chili cheese hotdog at Casey's. It looks really good and at first you're like yeahhhh and then you're like ehhhhh. I was really disappointed.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one. Next time in the mood for a nice messy chili cheese dog I will be making my way over to cosmic rays.

Haha, in your trip video, I am always drawn to watching that mom behind you on Thunder Mountain avoid the camera! I think it's hilarious!

You are definitely corrected about the person checking the bag. Some could really care less and others check every single pocket. But they are just doing their job so it is whatever.
Oh my goodness I'm sorry to hear about your story of hotdogs. I seriously live off of hotdogs over the summer. I just can't see my life with out them.

Celebrate The World Filled With Magic

Many of you may know Brittany as the girl who planked Roy on Main Street. Although we knew that she would never be able to top that there was still a photo op calling her name. We found our way heading towards the haunted mansion and made our way through the interactive queue. We felt the pressure but there was absoutley no one around, it was just the feeling that someone could walk in at anytime. But there was no time for worrying…

Next thing I know Brittany is hopping in Mister Gracey’s grave

Since we were already there why not go on the ride?

Beware of the hitch-hiking ghosts

Afterwards we passed by the beautiful lit up tangled bathrooms and headed towards fantasyland.

I believe it was Andy who suggested going on Speedway. This is not really one of those must do’s at Disney but hey why not

Alicia and Andy seemed to enjoy themselves

Look mom no hands!

Then I broke another Disney rule and bumped into Andy…haters gonna hate.
When we were pulling back up to the platform it seemed like they were closing our lane down for the night. Because of this a CM came up to us and told us when we get out of the car to go to the exit. We were confused as to when we were suppose to get out because we were still far back in line. He then came back to us and told us that we were allowed to leave.

It was getting to that time of night when we should be thinking about getting a spot for Celebrate the Magic and Wishes so we headed to Main Street. MSEP was going on and Alicia ran up to see if she knew the tinkerbell… she did not. So we headed to our usual spot.

Brittany then tried taking a classy photo of her ring she bought on the first YOLO trip. After a million times failing, Alicia finally was able to help out and get the perfect picture.

We got there way early so we decided to take some photos for your enjoyment

Attractiveness at it’s finest

ohana means family

Finally Celebrate the Magic started as well as the start of the night when your heart hurts from all the Disney magic.

After Celebrate the Magic there was a short break till Wishes started. The wind this night was horrible and it made it so cold out. I was so thankful that we went back to the room and put pants on because I would have froze. Wishes started and it was perfect like always. There is just something about wishes that makes me never want to leave Disney.

We ended up piecing out of Wishes early to beat the crowd and to get some fastpasses for Space Mountain. Once our fastpasses were in our hands we decided to hop in the stand by line.

We seemed to loose our “friend” again

We then made our way back to New Fantasyland where we were excited to see Belle.

We got in line for enchanted tales with belle and found ourselves in Maurice’s cottage, which was nice and warm.

we were then lead into Maurice’s work shop where Beast’s magical mirror was

I cannot even explain how awesome this part of the attraction is, the mirror is just so magical. I wish I had one. I mean it transports you to the beast’s castle…that’s pretty cool.

It was time for people to get picked to help tell the story of Belle and the Beast.

And guess who got picked…..ANDY!

After every character was cast and the audience learned their job and parts it was time to go perform for the beautiful Belle!

I can't wait to witness that magical mirror transformation!

nice update. bravo for andrew getting chosen for belle's tales. a knight in shining armor with a red sox hat; no yankee in the kingdom will be safe. i see brittany is adding grave hopping to her list of felonius acts. you two must be in competion to see who can have the longest dianey rap sheet. say isn't that a floating head to the left of master gracey's headstone? and isn't that a rat tale comb between her teeth!!!? (last reference about combs...i think.) i agree with you about wishes. i'm not big on parades or fireworks, but i do have to stop and watch wishes. i like those goofy photos while waiting for the parade. life is good. especially when you're at the happiest place on earth. me too on norvay. i have a connection there. my ancestors on my dad's side immigrated from there. dad was raised on a dairy farm in new york state. anyways my wife enjoys the school bread. she gets that every time we eat there. i usually get the lefse. i've gotten the ham and apple sandwich the last three or four times we've ate there. you should try it and tell them uncle toad sent you.

Oh my gosh, of all things to be considered a weapon, your COMB?!? :sad2: Once my dad got stopped going into a concert with his cigar cutter, but the guard finally let him go inside when he promised not to use it to chop the tips off of anyone's fingers. ;)

I love Brittany's ring! And the fact that she was brave enough to hop into Master Gracey's grave. :thumbsup2

I love that part from the video when Andy is peeking out through his knight mask. :goodvibes How fun that he was picked! Too bad there was no dancing required for his role in the show. :lmao:

A little late to the party here... but better late than never right?!:) Just read it all so far and love it!

Yes it is always late than never! ALSO WELCOME!!!! :goodvibes

It is AWESOME! I wish I could have one of my own

We are always trying to see what kind of mischief we can get into.
It's because Wishes is perfect and I will be horribly sad if and when Disney decides to get rid of it.
I wish I had ancestors from there! I love Norway. I always want to try something new there but the school bread always gets me.

Great update! :)

Thank you!

Yes a comb out of all the things in the world I would get stopped for my comb.
She is definitely rebellious because she just hopped into the grave like it was no problem at all. Good thing no one was around because that could have been awkward.

It Feels Like One of Those Nights... We Wont Be Sleeping

On June 14 Brittany and me took a road trip to Toronto to see Taylor Swift in concert. When the tickets first went on sale it sold out in like minutes and it was looking like we werent going to be going. Luckily Taylor swift decided to do another show the night before and we were able to snag some tickets!

The night before at 10:30 I was painting a shirt&waiting till the last minute, cool bro.

For those who may not know Taylor Swift her last 3 albums were fearless, speak now, and red. So thats where the whole tshirt design came from.

The day of the concert Brittany worked 7am-1pm and when she got out she swung by my home to pick me up. Before we left my father got home and told us to have a good time. He then gave me directions to get to the reservation where his family lives :rotfl: No lie&.native pride!
We were on the road at 1:30 and made our 2 hour journey to Toronto. Crossing the border was super easy although Brittany was a bit worried. The lady was super nice and told us to have a great time.

Before we left I ( and by that I mean ma) called Verizon to see what I needed to do to use my phone and how much it would cost. So once we crossed the border I had to call Verizon to activate my roaming capability. Unfortunately my phone was being dumb the whole time so I just turned it off. Brittanys worked and texted her mom a couple times&Ma probably thought I was dead.

We ended up hitting traffic once we got closer to the city, which was expected. Poor Brittany had to pee so bad. Then to add to that the street that our hotel was on was under construction so we had to reroute and try to figure out how to get there. Once we did we had a huge parking fiasco and the poor parking ramp guy must have thought we were special. About 4:15 we were checking into the Radisson.

When we walked into the room there was a nice mini fridge

A closet with a full-length mirror

the bathroom

and finally the sleeping area

Those beds were so comfy!

Our view

This hotel was in the perfect location&props to Brittany for doing her research and booking it. Since you know the concert was being held at the Rogers Centre and it was the perfect walking distance.

While Brittany was getting ready it was my job to try and figure out where we should eat for dinner close by and also watch say yes to the dress bridesmaids edition. (Every Friday is brides night on TLC!)

Brittany gave herself till 5 to be ready to leave, that way we could get some food before the concert that started at 6:30. Me being the annoying friend kept asking her hows it going in there? when it got closer to 5. Then I took a selfie while I waited&.

We left to find food a little after 5, there was a restaurant and pizza place under the hotel. We decided that we would grab something small at the Rogers Center and then get a real meal afterwards. So to the Rogers Center we go!

We arrived very early so there was some hustle and bustle but it wasnt horrible. They had a merchandise stand set up and a Club Red? Photo spot set up. We did none of this, we just got our tickets and went inside

We didnt go to our seats right away, we walked and walked and walked looking at the merchandise and seeing what they had good to eat. We wasted a good amount of time doing that. Then we found a Pizza Pizza sign, this place is so popular in Toronto like they were everywhere!

We finally decided to go to our seats. There was a lady there who helped us locate them and then came back to tell us that there is not smoking allowed inside&.do we look like smokers?

That lady behind us will be dropping that drink of hers later on in the night and ruin Brittanys purse.

Since we got there super early Brittany suggested going to the first level to see what different foods they had to eat. We then made the decision to purchase a shirt, cause you know YOLO. We ended up getting the same shirt because thats what best friends do.

We went on a hunt to find stairs, there were no stairs but a huge ramp&.you best believe I ran down it like a little child. Once we hit the bottom we noticed that there was a line to take a photo, we decided to jump in it. To bad my phone wasnt working because they were giving away pit tickets if you tagged your photo on instagram.

And for taking the photo we got some free shoelaces

We then walked around seeing the selection of food, they had a little market area that I ended up getting fries at. They came with some dipping sauce, which I had no clue what it was but it was really good. Before I spent my money Brittany decided to take a photo of what she calls funny money

It was getting closer to 6:30 so we headed back up to our seats but before we did we stopped at the bar. 20 year old Brittany was all about getting a drink because it was allowed in Canada. Being the nice friend she bought me one as well. Brittany made fun of me because my 21st birthday was on May 7th and I was having my first legal drink over a month later&.in Canada&.where the drinking age is 19. Im a child&sorry... not sorry. The lady did how ever think our accents were so cool, I was unaware we had accents.

Once we got back to our seats the show had already started!

Road Trip Part 2

But Loving Him Was Red

Taylor had 3 opening acts Joel Crouse, Austin Mahone, and Ed Sheeran. The only one I knew was Ed Sheeran and was really exacted about it, the other 2 guys I had no clue who they were.

Joel Crouse started off the concert he was good. He made an announcement saying that it was his 21st birthday that night and that he was happy to be spending it with us. Then once his set was over he told us that we could follow him on twitter and instagram, which me and Brittany then stated “consider yourself officially stalked” too bad I didn’t follow him. During his set I was enjoying my “dinner” for the night

After he finished there was a short wait till Austin Mahone. He was ok, he seemed to be a Justin bebier wanna be. Once he was done he promoted himself saying buy my songs on itunes…thanks!

Then it was time for some Ed Sheeran! Seriously he was so good! Brittany could not get over the fact that he was just wearing a goonies tshirt. Keeping it classy!

He did a good job interacting with crowd he split the arena into 3 sections and taught each section a different harmony. Then before he sang each song he said sing along and if you don’t know the words please just pretend and make up your own words. He was precious! I’m a little sad he didn’t play Gold rush but then again it isn’t one of his most popular songs.

A Team

After Eddy there was a good 20-minute wait for them to set up the stage.

Brittany wanted a picture of our outfits…..

I don’t know about you but I’m feeling 22, everything will be alright if you keep me next to you

the lady behind us was kind enough to take our photo

it was then show time!

set list

Taylor Swift puts on a GREAT show! She is an entertainer, she had about 6 outfit changes, amazing back up dancers, fire works, a great stage, so you best believe that Brittany and me sang the night away!

After the show Brittany found her purse and merch bag soaked! She gave the family behind her the stink eye while we left. Getting out of the Rogers Centre was super fun! Not. But one our way back to the hotel everyone was singing 22 so of course we had to join in! When we got back to the room we decided that we were just worn out and that we weren’t going to get food. So we got changed. When I got out of the bathroom Brittany wanted to go get some pizza, of course right when I put on my pajamas.

Now I’m that type of person who could really careless what people think of me so I walked around Toronto in my mickey Pajamas…haters gonna hate. As we were waiting for the elevator Brittany broke the heater when she was looking out the window :rotfl: this is why we can’t have nice things!

I thought she was going to go to the pizza place just under the hotel but nope she wasn’t feeling that. So we went to a pizza place that was packed with people from the concert, I got some weird looks.

Brittany got her pizza and we went back to the room where we watched brides night until we fell asleep. The next morning we were originally planning on finding the Disney Store but that didn’t happen because I had to get back home. So we ended up leaving our room at 10:30.

The broken heater…

We were on the road at 11. Getting home was an adventure, we hit roadblocks and then the roads we took to get back on lead us straight to a festival. It was just a mess that we had to stop at a tim hortons. We finally got back on track and got back home a little later than we had planned.

America here we come!

We arrived safely and our road trip came to an end.

What a fun little road trip! Glad you girls had fun and didn't get into too much trouble in another country! :lmao:

gee, i don't know what to say. taylor swift, a broken heater, pajamas at the pizza parlor. holy guacamole! memories are made of this.seems like we just barely averted an international.crisis.

Aaaahhhh I wanna see Taylor Swift in concert SO Bad! Glad you ladies had such a good time!

I saw Taylor in Detroit at the beginning of May, wasn't it absolutely epic!
Let Brittany know that our "funny money" is different colours because we like to drink a lot (hence the 19) this way we can tell how much we are giving someone based on the colour of it whilst we are wasted. It's a pretty classy system.

Really I don't know why it's different colours, but it sure makes things easier.

Your hotel was right down the street from the condo we have in Toronto! Not that it matters, I was just stoked that it was so close.

I'm going to see Taylor swift on July 6 and I'm so excited! I'm glad you enjoyed it and thought it was good! I can't wait!

It was PERFECT!
Brittany texted me yesterday saying "it makes so much sense their money works like that and that now I wish ours was like that" At first I was so confused because I didn't go on the DIS but now I understand. But really that is really classy! I like it.

Oh my god can I go with you! Like I can't even begin to explain how much fun I had and how awesome the show is. You are going to LOVE it!
