I always thought she was a bit out there!

I didn't know she was only a few years younger than my mom and dad!

I definately remember her being the older woman when John Lennon got married to her. I guess he probably would have been around 60 now if he were still alive.

I've never quite got her appeal, she doesn't seem to have a whole lot of talent to speak of (she is an abstract artist, and her work is, ummmm, a little strange - and lets not even go there with the singing!!). But I have always felt so sorry for her after John was killed - imagine watching the love of your life and the father of your child being gunned down right in front of your home. Ugh, I can't even bear to think about it all these years later.

Yoko has always been a conceptual artist and very avant guarde.

You should read her book "Grapefruit."

Yes, I am very familiar with her work, as an art student at NYU we were often asked to analyze her work. She was in her heyday when I was in art school. It doesn't really appeal to me, but I guess she has a little bit of talent or she wouldn't sell paintings. I'll say this - she has more talent as an artist than she does as a singer!
