YoHo, YoHo, A Mother's Day Trip to the Mouse!

And by dreams, I mean real dreams that happen when you're sleeping. Not the ones that we'll be in while at Disney World.

Ok, so ya know when something big is coming up and you start having weird dreams a little while before. Like every pregnant woman dreams that she misplaced her infant.
So last night I had a dream that I was in Florida , I was following someone to get to the MK, I was in my truck. She was driving so fast, and I was trying to keep up. Finally I get there, and I am going on the Keys to the Kingdom Tour(I think that's what it's called) I remember seeing a ride, and saying, Oh, my god, I've been waiting for this for years and it's finally here.

But then it switched over to being back in the truck. Anthony was with me, and we were pulling up to Disney World, but it was actually my work, I told Anthony to wait in the car for Dad(not sure where he was) that I was going on that tour. So weird, I don't even think about that tour. I have no intention of even wanting to do it. :confused3 Not to mention I was leaving Anthony in a parking lot:lmao: Too weird!!

Has anyone else's dreams or nightmares started!!!!!!!! Sorry, if they havn't they probably will now after reading my post:rolleyes:

So i'm boiling eggs right now, and we'll be coloring them later, I hate the smell of eggs boiling. And I hate how they stink up the fridge whiile they're cooling off. Oh well, I'll get over it.

So I told the girls that we were going to start packing next week while they're on school vacation. You don't think it's too early do you:rolleyes: I'm going to lay out all of the summer clothes, new clothes and the shirts that I made and put them all in the suitcases. How fun is that going to be, I can't wait. To tell you the truth, i'm shocked that I held out this long. My plan was to start packing that week all along, I just didn't think i'd actually wait that long!

Your last day looks great! It's similar to ours, we don't have anything specifically planned for that day either!

Did I miss Day 7? I need to go back and look!

Poor Anthony having to go back to school! He's gonna be exhausted! Maybe he can get some sleep on the flight home.:cloud9:

Yes silly, you missed Day 7, it's on the previous page.
Anthony should be able to sleep for a little while on the plane, he's actually the only one of my children that sleeps on planes. So that's a good thing for him. Although they all might sleep on this flight, they'll be pretty tired from a long day at the Magic Kingdom. It's so weird to think, that we'll be riding in spinning Tea cups in the afternoon, and by bedtime we'll be in our own beds. Eww, it's making my stomach turn:sick: I'm going to have to stop now.

So, Wendy I was just thinking about our Dismeet, it's going to be so much fun. Should we all go over to the Safari and get FPs first, or should we just wait out the line together? What do you think?

I did see Day 7, I even replied to it!!:rotfl:

I think we are just going to stand in line together at noon. It'll give us time to chat! Hopefully, the line wont be too long, but because the safari trucks hold 25-30 people, the line goes relatively quick!

FYI: If you are getting to the park early, you should ride the safari then too! By noon, it's hot and we wont see as many animals. The best times to ride are in the mornings and evenings!

Oh , you're too funny:rotfl:

Yeah, standing in line together is fine with me!!! I cannot wait. Thanks for the advice on riding the Safari in the morning too. We'll try to do that. It's going to depend on how late we are the night before and what time we can get to AK. The night before will be our arrival day, so we'll be tired from the plane, but most likely will not want to sleep, we'll be at the MK:cloud9: So we may need to get a little sleep that morning. If I can't get there early ,we'll try riding it later that night, AK is open til 8pm:yay:

Last day is on the 19th, right?? This is the day I might run into you in the MK, RIGHT?? That'll be nice!!! I've never run into another Disser in the park before!! I talk to people all the time in the lines, and I ask them if they're on here, and they always said no. So...here's my chance!! YAAAY!!! :) Your last day plans look good, HOPEFULLY you won't change your mind, but if you do, that's okay too!! I can't wait for May to be here either, I still have 41 days as of today, got the countdown on the calendar I have here at work too....girls here think I'm crazy, but that's alright!!

Hey if you want we can exchange cell phone numbers before we leave and we can get in touch with each other maybe on sunday 5/17 or monday 5/18 and i'll let you know for sure if we'll be in the MK, and we can plan a time and a place to meet up, maybe we can go on a ride or see an attraction together.:woohoo:
I have a countdown going at work too, but luckily all of my fellow coworkers are either Disney fans too, or are just so excited to see that I am so excited. and they know my little girls, and keep saying "oh they are going to have so much fun". I have coworkers come up to me and say oh only 35 more days huh, they are all along for the countdown with me. It's so much fun. I can't even imagine the excitement that's going to be going on the last day I work before my vacation.

So we havn't painted our eggs yet, Lizzie is sleeping with a fever, I had to pick her up about a half hour before school got out. While we were eating supper she fell asleep on the table, she was laying her head down on it, and fell right to sleep. So when she wakes up we'll get down to buisness! And hopefully she'll feel better.
She has a performance at school tomorrow night, so hopefully she'll be able to go, she has a cough too, i'll probably leave her home from school tomorrow, this way she can relax and go to her performance at night. I switched nights at work for that and everything, I worked last night in place of wedensday, so I hope we can still go.

The fever and cough thing is going around. Cayley had the fever for 3 days with the cough leaving after about a week. Avery only had a fever for one day but has had the cough for almost 2 weeks. Better now then at WDW I guess-hope she feels better soon.

We can exchange numbers, I can pm you mine if you want...we won't get over there until Monday the 18th, but you can certainly call before then!! That'll be cool to finally meet another disser!!

So sad..the last day of vacation. :sad1:

I hate the smell of eggs boiling too! Just YUCK! :crazy2:

I am the Vacation Bible School director at my church and I ALWAYS have nightmares about screwing that up! Nothing about Disney yet...but I do wake up with my To-Do list in the front of my brain!

I hope Lizzie feels better and can enjoy coloring eggs. Looking forward to pics! :surfweb:

Oh...and NO..it's not too early to start packing!! :cheer2:

Eww, I hope Lizzie's is a one day thing!!! And i'd rather be sick now than in 35 days. So hopefully this will be our last "bug" before we go.

Yeah, we'll send each other our phone numbers and i'll call you or you can call me monday night, and we'll definately meet up, that sounds like fun!!! I'm assuming we'll be at the MK on the 19th! I'm 98% sure. Yay, another meet for me. WOO HOO

Oh good, so no one thinks i'm crazy for packing 3 weeks out. I knew we'd all be on the same page here.

We woke Lizzie up at 6:30 and we colored Easter Eggs. She still wasn't feeling great all night, and she already went back to sleep at about 9:00, we were watching, Charlie Brown's Easter show, and she fell asleep as soon as that ended. Me and Emily are watching 18 Kids and counting, we love these TLC shows.
I'm not sure if Lizzie is going to school tomorrow, i'm sure she's not going to be ready to go in the morning.
I got a few pictures of our Eggs, i'll post them tomorrow, not much of the kids decorating, cause Lizzie was still half asleep and I was making sure she was ok, they were pretty clumsy tonight we "lost" 4 eggs, they were dropped , or crushed while putting the stickers on.

I think next week when the kids are on vacation we're going to look at a map and go over the countries we're going to see in Epcot, so they'll have a sense of where they are in the world. We'll look up a few interesting facts on each country and see what "sticks", I think they'll enjoy that.

Poor Lizzie. I hope she feels better soon. I don't think you're crazy. I'm 5 weeks out and I have already started packing.

I have been packing for the last two months! Right now everything is labeled in ziplock bags for each day of the trip.... these Dis boards have actually made me "more" OCD than I normally am!! :lmao:

First off, Lizzie is still not feeling all too well. Emily has a Dr's appt today, so we've all stayed home from school so she could sleep in, the appt. is at 11am, so i'll have the Dr. listen to her cough and see what she thinks. It's a constant cough, but very tight. So, we'll see, I'll let you know what happens at the appt. this morning!

So here are some of our Eggs after they dried.

And here they are all finished with their stickers. We sat and on the floor in the parlor while we watched Charlie Brown's Easter and put the stickers on.

And now for some Hidden Mickey Fun. This idea came to me from the help of my boss!! I told the kids about the Hidden Mickey's in Disney World and how we will have fun pointing them out while we are there. So, I cut out a bunch of Mickey Heads and told them that we were going to start our own Hidden Mickey's here at home. So they were like "oh, Ok", but not too excited or impressed......That is until they spotted the first one, Oh, wow, they were so excited, and jumping up and down, they've found a bunch since last night. When they find one, they just turn it into a little basket, so I can hide them again. Lizzie is walking around with one that she found this morning, and she's not ready to let go of it just yet!!
But here a few of the hiding places to give you an idea.

Pretty eggs. I hope Lizzie is feeling better soon. I'm all caught up now on your park plans too. I love the birthday party pics from CC and the Wall E cake is adorable. Thomas is going to have a Wall E Cake for his party when we get home from Disney. Adorable outfits for the girls too :goodvibes.

Eggs are VERY cute!!!! I get to color mine on Friday night after work. Found a GREAT deal at wal mart here, 5 dozen eggs for just over $6, so I got LOTS of coloring to do!! I'll take pictures with my new camera too!!! HAHA I still think it's funny we got the same one....great minds think alike, right???
