I'm glad I got that done, it took us about an hour, i've been wanting to go through the restaurants for days now.

This weekend when Anthony gets here we are going to go through the park maps and all choose our favorites from each park to make sure that they get done. I'm also going to type out this list of restaurants and the times for the shows, parades and fireworks. My friend from work has a laminating machine, and she is going to laminate my little cheat sheets so I can carry them around in my backpack. I feel so prepared, it feels so great:cool1:

HAPPY 53 MORE DAYS FOR US!!!!!!!!! MY LITTLE BUZZ LIGHTYEAR ON MY TICKER IS AT THE HALFWAY MARK.

I loved my laminated note cards! They came in very handy at the parks! Being prepared does feel good because it makes it possible for you to RELAX when you are actually there! Nice job! :thumbsup2

Thanks mommytothreeboys, Cosmic rays seems to be liked by many, I think we'll definately try that. And the menu at wolfgang puck express does look good.

So, yeah, I feel very happy about my restaurant list. This weekend we'll have our list of park hours, parades, and shows. Then I'll just have to type them all up and have my friend laminate them. What did you use, did you use index cards, or just paper.

So, while at Target I traveled over to the travel section and bought lots of fun travel size stuff.
Travel size deoderant for dh and I
toothpaste
I already bought toothbrushes
soap
hairspray
2 1 ounce sunblocks (very excited about these)
travel zip lock bags for our carryon liquids
shaving cream

Ya gotta love the Target travel size aisle!! WOO-HOO!! :woohoo:

(Awww a disney commercial is on right now....I want to be there so bad)

I scold my DH when he fast forwards over the Disney commercials...LOL!

I used colored index cards and it worked great! I just grabbed the right card for the day and popped it into my bag...It was also easy to tuck in my pocket for easy access!

Hi!! I just found your PTR and our trips overlap just a bit! I just started a PTR--check it out in my siggy!!

Great restraunt list. We plan to go to many of the same places! Makes me hungry just thinking about it. I am also going to do the laminated cards. I can't wait!

Ok, last birthday party for Sam. We went to my Aunt's today for dinner, cake and of course presents....

And that's it.....for now.......... I may make myself one next.

We're all meeting up at my SIL, Sue's house tomorrow, and i'm going to give the kids their shirts. They are leaving for Disney pretty soon. About 2 more weeks I think!

Ooooh, travel size lysol....nice.

I forgot to say that I bought travel ziplock bags for your carryon, they have an airplane on them, and they are specifically for you carryon, they are the excact size they need to be. I'll post a pic of them tomorrow. I got all excited about the airplane on the ziploc bags...very cool

Another great Wall-E cake and birthday!! How fun!!

The shirts look great!! You definitely need to make yourself one...or two!!

Looks like Sam had a great birthday!! Cute cake--my nephew had the same one for his birthday last month.

The shirts turned out really nice!!

Figured i'd post a pic of my travel items bought from Target the other day, cause I was really excited about the ziploc bags

And coming up next I will post our 1st day plans....Everyone has there's up, i'm getting kind of nervous that we don't have much planned out. I mean we know which parks we're going to on which days, but that's about it. So that's coming up shortly!

Great Target haul! They have the BEST travel section!

Your t-shirts are really cute. I am working on some for the rest of the family...I made mine and they all wanted one! Go figure! So I guess we will have a matchy-matchy day! :rotfl:

Our flight leaves at 6:15am, so I think I'll get up at 2:30:scared:, get myself ready, then wake up dh and the kids by 3:00-3:15am ( I so hope I can get them to bed early the night before) And hope to be ready to leave by 3:30am to be at the airport by 4:00am. Southwest recommends 2 hours early for our airport. We'll get to Orlando at 9:05am, check in with Magical Express and head over to All Star Movies. I cannot wait until the bus pulls up to the resort, the kids are going to be so excited. We'll check in, although i'm not expecting our rooms to be ready ( if they are that would be great though) We'll get our refillable mugs and eat lunch in the food court. I'm sure we'll want to take a little walk and check everything out. Then we'll spend a few relaxing hours at the pool.
The plan is to head over to the Magic Kingdom around 3 or 4pm. We're going to head straight to Fantasyland, and straight to Dumbo. As long as the wait time does not exceed 30 minutes, we're getting in line. This is Lizzie's must do! Of course we want to do all of the rides and attractions in Fantasyland, so we'll get as much done as we can here, because we have a few other must dos for our first day.
We'll then go over to Liberty Square.......Haunted Mansion is our Number 1 must do for this day. My Mom really wants to go on the libery square riverboat, so depending on the wait time we may go on this, or save it for another day. I want to hit Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Pirates of the Carribean *Another must do*, Alladin's magic carpets, and the Jungle Cruise.
I would like to eat dinner at Pecos Bills.

That's the plan, if we don't get to some, or do others instead, no big deal, we have 2 more days set aside for the MK! Of course I want to see Wishes:cloud9:
And we of course have to get to a few characters on our first night. (I'm hoping for Jasmine and Alladin in Adventureland and does Woody and Jessie come out in Liberty Square? I'd love to see them on our first night:cloud9:

Does anyone know if there is a list somewhere on where the characters are and what times, or does that change daily and we can only find out once we get into the park with the Times guide?

Wow, writing this makes me feel like i'm on my way there. I CANNOT WAIT:dance3:

WOW, this is really Fun, I wanna plan out day 2 now!

Those plans look good! Except for the getting up at 2:30 am part..UGH!!

What day of the week are you leaving? Just wondering about the crowds at MK on that afternoon. But you have a good plan..do what you can and the rest can wait for another day.

Be careful....this planning thing can become a real obsession!!!:laughing:

Yeah, I'm not sure about the crowds either...That's why I didn't want to plan Exactly what we would be doing, I figured i'd just go in on that first day, with the direction I want to head in and do what we can, and get our must dos done.
Our first day will be a tuesday! I'm hoping for low crowds.

we last went in 2007 and we were up at 3 for a 6am flight. We went to MK that day and stayed for Wishes. Let me tell you- WE WERE TIRED! This is totally my opinion based on my last experience, but if I was you I would maybe have very few plans for your first day and save most for your next time at MK. I remember walking out with my husband- two little kids in tow and we both looked at eachother and said "this was NOT a Magical Day" But everything changed once we got some sleep and the rest of the trip was PERFECT!!

Yes, we will take it easy, that's why I didn't make major plans. Maybe we'll even head out before wishes, and catch them on our next MK day. We'll play it as we go.

Your first day plans look great, very realistic! I'd make sure you get a little nap in there after getting up at 2:30am!!! Yowza! Although with this being your 1st real WDW vacation, you guys will probably be high on Disney! :rotfl: Last year our flight was at 6:50am and we got up at 4:30am. We live about 15min from the airport so we were there at 5:30am. I'm sure with 4 kids, it takes a lot longer to get everyone out the door!
