YOAMD seen not experienced

We were in Epcot on 10-18-06 and saw two different families with the Dream Fastpasses and one group with the Mickey Ears. My kids were not told about the promotion so no disappointment on our part for not being selected.

However, we were outside of the Rose and Crown where the hopscotch is drawn on the ground....dd#2 (7) was playing and one of the cast members/servers at R&C came up and did one round with her and then gave her some princess stickers - very unexpected and very, very sweet. It totally made her day!!

Awww.. that's a bummer. We're going during the YOAMD and I will be disappointed myself if we don't experience something. My kids don't know about it, but I'm worse than my kids.
